The internet has brought us face-to-face with ugliness, tragedy, and true evil. But it’s also been a wonderful forum for goodness, creativity, talent, and humor. (I happen to love cleaning and knitting hacks.) And in the craziest election year ever, the internet is awash with clever and funny political videos. If you’re tired of the endless doom and gloom that is the day’s (and week’s) news, here’s some fun stuff for you. First, here’s a reminder that Trump isn’t just a president who managed to guide us through several years of soaring economics

I love the third one that asked students who have protested what they know about the issue. "Which river and which sea?" hahaha

“… the only way to get Biden out of office is to vote for Trump. He must win by such a vast margin that cheating is impossible.” President Trump did this very thing in 2020. They stole the election, anyway.

MSNBC Legal Analyst Thinks Blaming Bob

Former federal prosecutor Glenn Kirschner said that blaming Democratic Sen. Bob Menendez's (D-NJ) wife in his federal corruption trial may be a good thing for his defense. During an interview with MSNBC, Kirschner praised the Democrat’s legal team for throwing his wife under the bus as a way to protect him. “Once the cases were severed, you know, there’s a preference in the law for codefendants to be tried together jointly in one trial,” Kirschner said. “That’s true for lots of reasons.

What is a tariff, anyway? 1 reply

I have been patiently waiting for someone in the media to explain the meaning of “tariff” to the general public, rather than going on endlessly about the implications of imposing, for example, a 50% tariff on vehicles, a 20% tariff on steel, and a 10% tariff on aluminum on foreign nations, specifically now on China. It’s my belief that the general public would like an overview explaining tariffs instead of listening to political tirades from numerous politicians and knee-jerk journalists, reporters, editors, and “talking heads” about what might happen if the United States adopts these new tariffs.

As previously reported, Boeing whistleblower John Barnett was found dead from a ‘self-inflicted’ gunshot wound inside his vehicle outside a hotel in Charleston, South Carolina as he was testifying against the airplane company. John Barnett was found dead on March 9 on day three of his deposition against Boeing. He worked for Boeing for 32 years until he retired in 2017. “Barnett’s death came during a break in depositions in a whistleblower retaliation suit, where he alleged under-pressure workers were deliberately fitting sub-standard parts to aircraft on the assembly line.” the Daily Mail reported. Charleston police investigated after Barnett was found in his truck “suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.”

Joe Biden suddenly anxious to debate Donald J. Trump seemingly out of the clear blue doesn’t smell right. His Fraudulency (H/T John Nolte) can’t put two sentences together much less navigate an intelligent debate with a seven-year old. Clearly we know ol’ Joe didn’t call for this. He’s happy sitting in his basement or on the beach, eating ice cream and falling off his bike at every opportunity. We all know he doesn’t want this. Who set him up and why? I preface the following suggestions on the fact that the Left has already demonstrated how elaborately sinister they can be with the election theft of 2020

No one wants to see Hillary Clinton’s play, even in deep-blue New York City. The poor woman can’t draw an audience unless Bill Clinton is there. The former first lady and two-time presidential loser produced a play called ‘Suffs.’ It’s about the American suffrage movement; no one could care less. It’s supposedly the height of Tony Awards season, where shows on Broadway should be packed to the rafters. It shows that even the most ardent liberals find the topic stale (snip) Oh, it’s three hours long. No wonder why people are refusing to buy tickets. It is a three-hour play in which everyone knows the ending.
The Wealth Gap: An Existential Threat 4 replies

Since 1970 the value of the dollar has steadily declined. The lower 80% of Americans have lost income and purchasing power, largely due to the exodus of manufacturing by global corporations. As a result, the wealth gap between the global rich and the rest has widened. From 2007-2016 the net worth of the richest Americans increased by 20% while the lower 80% decreased by the same percentage, widening the wealth gap considerably. The Federal Reserve sparked this change using quantitative easing to boost the sagging stock market. The rich could invest in this wealth explosion but the rest could not as much.

Michael Cohen is a congenital (and convicted) liar, but when he took the stand as a witness for Alvin Bragg’s “hush money” trial, Cohen said the reason he took a home equity line out to pay Stormy Daniels instead of pulling money out of his checking account is so that his wife wouldn’t see the withdrawal. Here are a few leads to all Democrat campaign workers posing as journalists and reporting on the trial: If you take out a home equity line, all the parties owning the home have to sign the document; yet it certainly does not appear that Cohen owned his residence by himself.

Michael Cohen took the stand Tuesday in what many are calling a theatrical performance in the sham Biden/Bragg hush money trial. Cohen admitted to lying to Congress and serving prison time, all in a bid to shield the man he now accuses: former President Donald Trump. Cohen now points a finger and claims, “…To keep the loyalty and to do things [Trump] had asked me to do, I violated my moral compass and I suffered the penalty as is my family,” according to the Washington Post He also admitted to profiting from his connections to Trump for personal gain

It was inevitable that the American Marxists would go down the road of justifying the current premediated chaos on college campuses by claiming it is no different than the marches, demonstrations, and unrest on college campuses during the 1960s. This absurd comparison is nothing more than a juvenile attempt to wrap Marxism, virulent anti-Americanism, support for Islamic terrorism, and malicious antisemitism in the flags of the Civil Rights and Vietnam War movements. There are times when large wars produces miniscule results, waged only to re-arrange pieces on a chessboard (War of the Spanish Succession) -- and times when small scuffles will make or break a civilization (The battle of Thermopylae). This is what we are seeing now. Recognizing such instances is no mean feat. At the battle of Thermopylae, were the Spartans really morally preferable to the Persians? Both had Indo-European leadership, so this was not about race. The Persians were an autocratic tyranny with a semi-divine king, yet the Spartans were a totalitarian monstrosity. So which side was right?

On April 25, 2024 the Oxford Union held a debate on the motion that "This House Believes Populism is a Threat to Democracy." And who better to argue the case than former House Speaker Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA)? The only disappointment was that Our Nance did not once utter the words “Our Democracy.” The reports all tell us that Winston Marshall, one-time musician, absolutely nailed Pelosi, beginning with his remark that “Populism is not a threat to democracy. Populism is democracy.” But I listened carefully to Pelosi’s speech. She spoke without notes, which sometimes means that the speaker will fail to craft the narrative as precisely as she would wish.

The president didn't use Trump or the GOP's name as he addressed graduating seniors from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, but it was clear who he was talking about as he brought up January 6 amid their commencement ceremony. 'Insurrectionists who stormed the capitol with Confederate flags are called patriots by some,' Biden told the seniors, graduating from the historically black, all-male institution. 'Not in my house.' Trump often refers to his supporters who ramsacked the Capitol by that term. 'Black police officers, black veterans, protecting the Capitol were called another word as you recall,' Biden continued. The president added that 'extremists close the doors of opportunity.'

This is not normal. The anti-Israel uprisings at colleges across the country have featured violence (from both sides), vandalism, unlawful occupations known as “encampments,” and many other acts that go well beyond free speech. And now, at the University of Michigan, this radical protest movement just crossed the line into dangerous new territory. This week, agitators reportedly showed up at the homes of University of Michigan Board of Regents members in the middle of the night, invading their private property. They chanted on their lawns and brought with them fake corpses, faux bloodied sheets, and lists of demands, including, bizarrely, completely unrelated desires such as “defunding the police.”

John Fetterman (D-PA) said in the past he's compared the House to "The Jerry Springer Show." Then in reference to the wild moments on Thursday, he said he would apologize to the show. That caused AOC to flip out and chastise him, saying that she was standing up for women, and somehow, MTG talking about Crockett's eyelashes was racist and misogynist. Crockett then tried to make money off of what she said about MTG,

Hell froze over when Bill Maher defended the likes of Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker on his show Friday. The NFL player recently delivered a controversial commencement address at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, which sent the Left into meltdown mode. On one hand, there were some parts that many could view as anachronistic about the speech. Then again, Butker is a devout Catholic who delivered an address that aligned with those values. You can disagree without going crazy. And if Maher, an outspoken atheist and critic of organized religion, can shrug this off, so can everyone else.

The apparent crash of a helicopter carrying Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, the country’s foreign minister and other officials is likely to reverberate across the Middle East.
