The Justice Department is out for blood. President Joe Biden has them ready to pounce on anyone regardless of Party affiliation. And a leading Democrat was blindsided after being targeted by Biden’s DOJ.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) has been a menace under President Joe Biden.
They have targeted pro-lifers for the most ridiculous things in an effort to silence them. Biden has completely weaponized the DOJ to go after his political opponents.
And now even a Democrat is being targeted.
Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) is expected to be indicted by the DOJ for charges that are not yet known.

Axios reported that President Joe “Biden gradually had been ditching the term. Last June and July, he referred to ‘Bidenomics’ about 50 times. In December and January, he used it just six times.”
USA Today ran basically the same story on the same day — headlined: “President Biden scraps ‘Bidenomics’ after slogan falls flat” — crediting Axios.
Biden said ‘Bidenomics’ 15 times in his June 28 speech in Chicago that debuted his new slogan to the nation. He mentioned ‘Bidenomics’ another 77 times in speeches through October, including as many as six or seven times in single speeches.
Yet Biden touted ‘Bidenomics’ only four more times in both November and December,

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday that his government has voted unanimously to shut down the local offices of Qatar-owned broadcaster Al Jazeera, escalating Israel’s long-running feud with the channel at a time when cease-fire negotiations with Hamas — mediated by Qatar — are gaining steam.
According to a statement from Netanyahu’s office, the decision goes into effect immediately. It could include closing the channel’s offices in Israel, confiscating broadcast equipment, preventing the broadcast of the channel’s reports and blocking its websites, among other measures, the statement said.

"What makes the future in this case darker is Sudan's history of hosting extremists and jihadists from the far right and far left. During the previous regime, Sudan hosted Osama bin Laden, leader of Al-Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah, and Carlos the Jackal. This warm embrace of violent extremists earned Sudan a spot on the list of state sponsors of terrorism."— Areej Elhag, Washington Institute for Near East Policy, January 31, 2024.
The bottom line for America and Europe is that the strategy of engaging and appeasing Iran has failed miserably.
The U.S. and Europe must step up now to counter Iran's efforts in the Middle East and Sudan.

Hillary Cass, OBE, is a prominent and acclaimed British pediatrician. After four years of investigation, she just published her “Independent Review of Gender Identity Services for Children and Young People to the National Health Service (NHS) of the United Kingdom.” After she and her team reviewed the literature—100 plus studies on hormone and puberty blocker interventions—they concluded that there is “remarkably weak evidence” on the issues of efficacy and safety. They concluded that gender-affirming care should be offered with “extreme caution” or not at all for minors until better studies and more reliable evidence are available.

Jeffrey Epstein is going to name names — again.
A mysterious “black book” believed to belong to the late pedophile financier, which revealed the names and addresses of 221 previously undisclosed people, is going up for auction — and bidders are being assured that their identities will be kept secret.
It could fetch up to $200,000 — or more, the auction house owner told the Daily Beast, which first reported the story. The book was reportedly found on Fifth Avenue in the East Village by a female musician in the 1990s, but how it came to be there remains unclear to this day.

Never before have sanctions been so ostentatiously disregarded without any seeming awareness by those violating them of the possible consequences.
The US administration, it appears, has actually been funding Iran to attack Israel and itself.
The Biden administration has provided a lifeline to the Iranian regime by providing it with much-needed financial relief to export more oil and terror. The evasions of US sanctions by Iran and its allies – largely thanks to the Biden administrations' sanctions waivers -- mark a new chapter in America's history. Never before have sanctions been so ostentatiously disregarded without any seeming awareness by those violating them of the possible consequences.

Happy Friday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. Delrubbyn felt that his cabbage and cardamom wine should have been a bigger hit at the Tri-County Kilt-Weaver Olympics.
For years, the Democrats have been singularly obsessed with ruining Donald Trump's life. He is their White Whale. Much to their chagrin, Trump continues to refuse to have his life ruined by them.
According to the Democrats' playbook and wildest dreams, these are supposed to be Trump's darkest days. He's in court rather than on the campaign trail, surrounded by biased jackals who have thrown judicial integrity down a toilet.
They're not very competent jackals. This is from a post Matt wrote yesterday:

Hamas sees Western countries such as Germany as a refuge in which the organization can concentrate on collecting donations, recruiting new supporters, and spreading its propaganda." — Germany's domestic intelligence service, apnews.com, November 23, 2023.
In February, Belgium's justice minister confirmed that Hamas operates in Brussels... through a network of front companies raising funds for the terrorist organization... Belgian authorities nevertheless continue to allow Hamas to operate there.
"Hamas has been in Europe for about 30 years. It's an open secret. Of course, they don't call themselves Hamas...

President Biden, urged by allies and detractors to speak out about pro-Palestinian demonstrations coast-to-coast, used the White House on Thursday as his backdrop to blast protesters who use violence and vandalism to make their points at colleges and universities. If he’s worried about alienating young voters over policy in Gaza, Biden did not let it show in his stern prepared remarks, arguing it was not a time to play politics. Protesters will not alter his support for Israel and condemnations of Hamas, he said, nor will he react by deploying the National Guard to disperse demonstrators who are otherwise being dealt with by university administrators and local police.

Joshua Dean, a Boeing whistleblower who warned of manufacturing defects in the planemaker’s 737 Max, has died after a short illness, the second Boeing whistleblower to die this year.
Dean, 45, a former quality auditor at Boeing supplier Spirit AeroSystems, filed a complaint with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) alleging “serious and gross misconduct by senior quality management of the 737 production line” at Spirit.
In 2018 and 2019, two 737 Max planes were involved in fatal crashes, which killed 346 people. Dean was fired by Spirit last year, and filed a complaint with the Department of Labor alleging that his termination was in retaliation for raising safety concerns.

Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke admitted Wednesday that she was arrested and chose not to disclose the legal matter during her Senate confirmation process because it had been expunged from her record.
During her 2021 confirmation process, Clarke, who now heads the Justice Department’s civil rights division, was asked by Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) in a questionnaire if she’d “ever been arrested for or accused of committing a violent crime against any person.”
To which Clarke responded, “No.” The Daily Signal reported on Tuesday that Clarke was arrested in Maryland in relation to a domestic violence complaint back in 2006.
