For a man who has never been shy about sharing his sanctimonious opinions, former President Barack Obama has been noticeably quiet about anti-Israel anarchists’ takeover of U.S. college campuses.
On Monday, Columbia University — Obama’s alma mater — announced it will not host its university-wide commencement ceremony for this year’s graduating class. That appears to be a response to the pro-Hamas demonstrations that have engulfed the school for weeks. The announcement came days after the university (finally) permitted law enforcement to arrest participants unlawfully occupying a school building.

CNN legal analyst Elie Honig said that the cross-examination of adult film actress and Trump trial witness Stormy Daniels after her testimony against former President Trump was a disaster. While Honig said that Daniels' testimony about a sexual encounter with Trump in a hotel room in 2006 was "plausible," her responses under cross-examination by Trump's team called her credibility into question.
"Her responses were disastrous," Honig said, referring to the moment when Daniels admitted that she hates Trump. "That’s a big deal," Honig said.

If you thought the Manhattan criminal trial of former President Donald Trump couldn’t devolve into more ridiculousness, it did on Tuesday. The folly of DA Alvin Bragg’s prosecution was further exposed when the notorious ex-porn star, Stormy Daniels, sashayed to the witness stand. Not unexpectedly, she offered a tutorial on her notorious vocation —sex.
Her real name is Stephanie Clifford, but her nom de plume is what made her famous in the underworld of adult erotica. In court, she confirmed starring in "40-Year-Old Virgin" and "Knocked Up." That may have been titillating, but was there really a point? Like most of her testimony, no. Let’s review.

Before the start of the Manhattan prosecution of former president Donald Trump, I characterized the case of District Attorney Alvin Bragg as based on a type of obscenity standard.
In a 1984 pornography case, Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart wrote “I shall not today attempt further to define [obscenity]. . . . But I know it when I see it.”
Bragg has refused to clearly define the crime that Trump was seeking to conceal when payments for a non-disclosure agreement werex listed as a legal expense. We would just know it when we saw it at trial.
We are still waiting, but this week, Bragg seems to be prosecuting an actual obscenity case.

There was, if hazy memories recall correctly, a time when the Democratic Party was merely an alternative to the Republican Party and not a threat to the country. Those days are gone. Today’s Democrats are in the business of wracking, ruining and razing.
The Biden administration, says former Hawaiian Democratic congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, is “destroying the foundational, fundamental elements of our country and what it means to be an American.”
Speaking recently to Dave Rubin of the Rubin Report, Gabbard noted that “we have seen now consistently throughout his entire administration over these last three and a half years, consistently pushing policies that undermine our freedom, that make our country

PRO-Palestine protesters have sparked all-out fury after massing near the grounds of the Auschwitz-Birkenau death camp during a Holocaust remembrance march.
Demonstrators today rolled out Palestine flags and hoisted balloons as crowds gathered to remember Holocaust victims at the March of the Living in Poland. Police sirens wailed as protesters held "Stop genocide in Gaza" banners directed at groups donning Israeli flags.
Witnesses reported that some of them were also "chanting" at march participants, to which Israelis answered with passages from the Jewish unity anthem "'Am Israel chai".

Men are abandoning the Democratic Party, and people are beginning to notice.
This weekend, President Donald Trump’s super PAC Make America Great Again released an ad targeting black men in rural Georgia. It features a white, professionally dressed woman working a phone bank for President Joe Biden who talks to a male voice whose owner we never see. Here is the script:
WHITE WOMAN: Hello, I’m with the Biden campaign.
MALE VOICE: Yeah, yeah, I voted for Biden last time.
WHITE WOMAN: That’s fantastic.
MALE VOICE: Is it? Everything costs more: food, gas, rent. WHITE WOMAN: OK, but Biden’s helping pay rent for “newcomers” to America from around the world.
MALE VOICE: You mean illegal immigrants?

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen last week warned that “threats to democracy” will imperil U.S. economic growth. Yellen’s admonishment is a less-than-veiled finger wag at former President Donald Trump and anyone who would dare question the official lie that the 2020 election was “one of the most secure elections in history.”
The real threat to the economy is Joe Biden, his buffoonish treasury secretary, and the rest of the capitalism-crushing useful idiots in this dangerous administration. As Democrat Party public-relations firm the Associated Press reported, Yellen used “economic data” in her address Friday in Arizona to “paint a picture of how disregard for America’s democratic processes and institutions can cause

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) became the first elite institution to scrap diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) statements from its faculty hiring process. On Sunday, the school confirmed to UnHerd that it was removing a requirement that mandated all prospective faculty submit a diversity, equity and inclusion statement during the hiring process. A university spokesperson told Fox News Digital that "requests for a statement on diversity will no longer be part of applications for any faculty positions at MIT" and added that the decision was made by the school’s president, Sally Kornbluth, with the support of the Provost, Chancellor, and all six academic deans.

It is no secret that Donald Trump is a hot wire that either fires up the imagination of voters or fries the brain.
For those of us who experience Trump as a Promethean bringer of enlightening fire to the dark barren fields of modern politics, it is hard to fathom the reaction of those who are terrified of him. We just say they have Trump Derangement Syndrome.
But for those Trump haters, of course, it is the rest of us who are deranged. We are cult members or Christian nationalists or foot soldiers of the new Hitler.
You cannot imagine more diametrically opposed views of one man.

Former President Donald Trump is getting dragged through the courts via the “lawfare” charges manufactured against him — and seemingly millions of liberals and Democrats are ecstatic. Chaos, turmoil and pain such as this can feel exhilarating when it’s the other side’s ox being gored.
But what happens if, in but a few short months, it is their ox being gored? Or they themselves? Will they cheer? Will they take to the streets in celebration? Of course not. They will scream out their innocence as they label the attacks “partisan” while demanding impartial justice.
Unhinged partisan politics is quickly propelling our nation down the path of

Editor’s Note: The first step in winning a war is to recognize the fact that you are in one. This means, first and foremost, to come to know your enemy and his goals. In a recent essay for this site, Glenn Ellmers and Ted Richards of the Claremont Institute make a compelling case that the present enemy—the “woke” or group quota regime—is a totalitarian threat, and that its aims are nothing short of revolutionary. While our own troubles may seem far removed from the hard totalitarianism of the twentieth century, Ellmers and Richards argue that the six traditionally accepted elements of totalitarianism are already present in woke America.
