The Biden administration paused the shipment of thousands of bombs to Israel last week because of its concerns about an Israeli invasion of Rafah, the last remaining Hamas stronghold in the Gaza Strip.
The shipment was meant to transfer 3,500 bombs to Israel, which the United States halted over worries about the larger munitions in the package being used in an urban setting, an anonymous administration official told the Associated Press. U.S. officials were concerned about how the 500-pound and 2,000-pound bombs could be used in a dense urban setting. The pause marks the first time the U.S. has publicly held up military aid to Israel since the October 7

Judge Juan Merchan allowed porn performer Stormy Daniels to babble on at length about her alleged affair with Donald Trump, including salacious details that would seem to have little relevance to whether the former president falsified business records, which is what Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg's prosecution is allegedly about.
It became so ridiculous that jurors reportedly had trouble keeping straight faces and were even smirking. Although Merchan refused to call a mistrial Tuesday as requested by the Trump team, even he admitted that too much irrelevant information was allowed and that the witness, Daniels, was “difficult to control.”

We've seen some troubling polls for Joe Biden and some good news for former President Donald Trump.
Perhaps the most astonishing numbers we've seen lately have been the Rasmussen poll that says Joe Biden appears to have lost perhaps the last bastion he needed to hold onto: women. That poll had Trump up 10 points generally and 11 with women. Now, I said that might be an outlier poll that we'd have to see. But if it was anywhere close to being true, that should be setting off big alarm bells to Biden. Now our sister site Townhall's Guy Benson is pointing to more data that just shows

Staff Sgt. Gordon Black is being detained in Russia on charges of stealing from a woman. He is being held in pre-trial detention.
According to a U.S. Army spokesperson, Black was detained last week. He had been stationed in South Korea and finished his deployment. He traveled to Russia on his own as he headed back to the U.S. It was described as a side trip to visit a woman with whom he was romantically involved.
He did not have permission from his superiors to go to Russia.
It is not clear if Black is accused of stealing from the woman he was visiting or a different woman.

Legal experts railed against former pornographic actress Stormy Daniels' salacious testimony as "prejudicial" on Tuesday, as former President Trump's legal team moved for a mistrial that ultimately failed in the action-packed court day.
"I used to try cases for a living. I still have a pretty good sense of what evidence is relevant, what is prejudicial and what is completely over-the-top inadmissible. What the judge is letting in today in the Trump trial in NYC will be remembered as a dark stain on our judicial system, reminiscent of corrupt dictatorships. Shame on the prosecution for undermining our judicial system,"

Former president Donald Trump’s criminal trial in Florida for allegedly mishandling classified documents is being postponed indefinitely.
Trump-appointed judge Aileen Cannon ordered a new pretrial schedule for motions and discovery Tuesday afternoon after the classified documents case was originally scheduled to go to trial later this month.
“The Court also determines that finalization of a trial date at this juncture — before resolution of the myriad and interconnected pre-trial and C* issues remaining and forthcoming — would be imprudent and inconsistent with the Court’s duty to fully and fairly consider the various pending pre-trial motions before the Court, critical C* issues, and additional pretrial and trial preparations

In yet another power grab by the Biden Administration, the Defense Department in March asked Congress to override an existing law that requires governors to approve changes to National Guard units. The proposal would allow the Defense Department to have unilateral power to transfer units to the Space Force because perhaps they’re preparing for an alien invasion or something.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R), long a thorn in the side of Biden on the illegal immigration issue because the president refuses to protect our borders while the Republican governor takes the border invasion seriously, is fighting back and pointed out in a letter to the White House that

First on MRC Business: George Soros’ Open Society Foundations sunk massive amounts of cash into several universities—most of which have been a breeding ground for radical anti-Israel students and whose administrations responded poorly to protestors, agitators and rioters trespassing, breaking into and occupying buildings and harassing Jewish students.
Both the New York Post and Politico have reported on Soros’ connections to the groups leading the anti-Israel protests. And now, an MRC Business investigation exposed how Soros has also given at least $34,638,060 to the nine universities that have made headlines for their slow response to anti-Semitic protests and riots, as well as their ineffectual or possibly even sympathetic administrators.

“For my friends, everything; for my enemies, the law.”
This philosophy, announced by Brazilian President Getulio Vargas in the 1940s, is no longer just the favored approach of Latin American strongmen. It has become the openly practiced strategy of today’s Democratic machine.
Laws that hamper Democrats are ignored. Laws that might be used to hurt Republicans are enforced to — and often well past — the limits of the law.
One need look no farther than the absurd circus-clown show trial (one pundit prefers the term “goat rodeo”) in which the state of New York has gone so far in trying to turn Donald Trump’s (alleged) personal peccadilloes into business crimes

Israeli officials said Monday that Biden administration officials had secretly worked with mediators, without Israel’s knowledge, to craft a Hamas “agreement” to ceasefire terms in an attempt to deter an attack on Hamas in Rafah.
On Monday, as Breitbart News reported, with Israel beginning its operation in Rafah by warning civilians to leave, Hamas suddenly announced that it agreed to a “ceasefire” — on unfamiliar terms that Israel had not actually offered. Israel, regarding the move as a bluff aimed at the international media in an attempt to pressure Israel to abandon the operation, decided to send junior-level diplomats to Cairo, Egypt, to explore talks, while continuing to fight in Rafah.

THE HAGUE, Netherlands – Police arrested some 125 activists as they broke up a pro-Palestinian demonstration camp at the University of Amsterdam in the early hours of Tuesday, as protests that have roiled campuses in the United States spread into Europe.
Police in the Dutch capital said in a statement on the social media platform X that their action was “necessary to restore order” after protests turned violent. There were no immediate reports of injuries. Video from the scene aired by national broadcaster NOS showed police using a mechanical digger to push down barricades and officers wielding batons and shields moving in to end the demonstration, beating some of the protesters

It's on like Donkey Kong. Israel apparently didn't think much of the latest ceasefire deal (more of a surrender deal) that Hamas was supposedly considering. The Associated Press is reporting that the IDF has moved in and seized control of the Rafah border crossing with Egypt. The supposed deal that was in the works had been fleshed out between Egypt and Hamas' agents in Qatar. It would have effectively forced Israel to retreat and leave Hamas intact in Gaza, something that Bibi Netanyahu has said from the beginning was not an option. The tanks that moved into the crossing were flying Israeli flags and they were overtaking a sector from
