Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said Thursday that President Biden was "obsessed" with lowering gas prices, when pressed on how the president plans to address the rising cost of fuel. Co-host of "The View" Alyssa Farah Griffin asked Granholm about gas prices, which she said were on the rise again. "What is the administration doing to lower those prices, and should we be worried about the conflict the Middle East contributing?" she asked. Granholm argued that the price of oil was determined by the global market, and cited Russia's invasion of Ukraine as an example of a situation that might cause

Comments:

Granholm went on to tout tax credits for EV's. But first you have to spend $59,000 to buy one.

"We are making it more difficult for oil companies to drill, for natural gas to be utilized, any way we can make it more difficult for America to become energy independent again. And we spend most of our time demonizing our energy sources." But, by golly, he's trying to bring prices down. s/o Another dimwitted clown car administrator. She and Pete are the worst.

There is enough oil and natural gas in this country, right now, to last for hundreds of years. We need never buy a drop of anything from anyone else in any of our lifetimes. Barry and his three hit women have seen to it our money is drained out of the country, food production is being destroyed, medical care is disastrous.....yep, fundamental change. And I think that's what Rush knew and just before all this happened he 'got cancer.' I so miss him.

Too bad that Sleepy Creepy Crooked Senile President Uncle Joe used up all the petroleum reserve in the 2022 election season. I think there's enough left there to fill up the cars in my driveway, Once. By the way, gas prices here have gone up about 30c a gallon in the last week. Jenny, you'd better get started on that lowering gas prices quick before they go up another buck a gallon And hey, one thing about those EV subsidies. Notice how every time subsidies are promoted, the EV manufacturers increase prices by about the same amount.

The price of gas is the ultimate in trickle down bidenomics. It touches literally everything we consume - food, clothing, electricity, water, everything. And what it doesn't touch directly, it touches indirectly through regulations. E.g. air emissions on your car - another way to get older gas powered vehicles off the road to bring on the new dawn of ev's.

If he is so interested in keeping prices he needs to quit messing with production here. Of course, one needs to just look at the calendar to see that his reelection is looming and the fact that the prices have been obscene not too long after he took office and he did nothing about it. Now he is worried it will cost him votes. I certainly hope so.
