At a certain point after following politics closely, you move away from reacting to events and begin to focus on proactively predicting events. (snip)Let there be absolutely no doubt, removing Johnson right now is giving the speaker gavel to Democrats. This Machiavellian way to remove Donald Trump has always appeared to be the Deep State insurance policy.(snip)If the Democrats take control of the House, disqualifying Donald Trump from federal office will be the purpose of their first legislative act. They already hold the Senate. They will do this. Thomas Massie knows this.
So, ask yourself, who exactly is controlling the action of Thomas Massie;

Churning in one blackmailable guy after another, all of them quickly subverted by the DC Uniparty Deep State Criminal Cabal.
Apparently there are NO honest men in the place who don't have enough skeletons in their closet that they can't be controlled by the DCUPDSCC.

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY).........
"Massie voted "present" on the 2015 Iran nuclear agreement, the only member of the House to do so and the only Republican not to vote against it. Massie was the only member of the House to vote against extending sanctions on Iran in 2016."
"In May 2022, he said no to a House resolution broadly condemning antisemitism. The vote was 420-to-1 — he stood alone in opposition."

What is going on with these speaker battles? Johnson isn't good enough? There are none so dumb as a perfectionist.

I am for replacing Johnson. He is a traitor that broke a tie vote on passage of FISA by voting with the Democrats. Johnson has betrayed Republicans time after time. He is a nonentity to begin with, and Jordan or Biggs should be speaker.

Okay, folks... here's the deal. Do what you have to do between now and election day and don't tie Pres Trump's hands with legislation he has to put up with for a year or two after inauguration.
Build the GOP majority, insure that the electoral vote is counted honestly. That's your job, RINO, Conservative Republican, or MAGA Congresscritter.
It may not be palatable to any of you, but a "Speaker Jeffries" is the alternative.

I almost always agree with Sundance but fail to see how the country benefits from a Speaker who is in lock step with Biden and Schumer in marching the country over a Marxist cliff. Without even a whimper of protest - in fact, he seems quite happy with himself. Am I wrong?

There is a reason that the GOP is known as the “Stupid” party. And this is exhibit A. Only republicans eat their own like this.

Capitulation and appeasement seem to be the only qualifications for Speaker.
Dump Johnson NOW.

Don't know about the slander Sundance is tossing around about Greene Hannity etal, not sure why he thought it needed aired even if true other than to smear. That said I too was against the sqalid little piece of legislation Johnson got passed on FISA and his MORE dumping of tax dollars into Ukraine is nuts. Our nations intel cabals are throughly corrupt and if Speaker Johnson hasn't been asleep these last many years the blood is all over the place. He shoiuld have known better. That said we lost ...this time. Regroup. Seems like Johnson can and will be ready for the fight if we hand him a solid House, Senate and a warrior President Trump. Now get back to work and help save Amemrica.

Maybe the folks who voted Massie into office (4th District of KY), should begin calling Little Tommy and giving him an earful. They need to let him know he will NOT have their support if he continues to support re-calling Johnson. I think Johnson might not be the best choice, but this is not the right time for Stupid Republicans to hand the House over to the Democrats. Jeesh! Does it get more and more Stupid as the days go on?? Hard to believe!

Maybe there's nobody in the GOP House who has any stones - or without an FIB file to keep him/her in line.

Some seem able to miss the big picture ... Timing is everything. This is not the time to dump Johnson, so wipe that silly grin off Hakeem's face.

There could be another reason. Right now if Biden and Kamala both quit Johnson would be President.
If Johnson is forced out Hakeem could be President.

i asked for a war-time consiglieri --and i get the perfect guy--for the goebbelists and yuk schemer.
CTH's main argument for harry potter is 'casting stones' (inDC???) , at 'conservatives without borders'.
luckily for harry-nobody is interested in the gangsters shovelling even more -of even less- taxpayer money
at the disbanding, fleeing soldiers of ukr.
indeed, it appears the only ppl left in ukr would be the unicameral nebraskans putting themselves
in danger....meanwhile, back at the ranch, this backstabbing weasel wants to re-invent himself.
on MWF he's a sainted Christian martyr amongst wild MAGA beasts;
TTHSA he thinks he's speaker Louis XIV-Sun King and Divine Right Ruler.
Sundays he's free to be his slithering serpent self.

Hareek becomes Speaker if the rumoured three more retirements happen. The House passes some law that prevents
trump from serving even if elected. Be smart. Wait till after the election please
