New York City has issued a health alert over the rise of rat-borne disease.
Cases of leptospirosis among people soared to its highest level in 2023, which is spread through contact with rat urine or feces.
In 2023 there were 24 cases reported in the city, which is eight times higher than total cases in the previous two decades. So far in 2024, there have been six cases.
'Not only are rodents unsightly and can traumatize your day, but they're a real health-related crises,' said Mayor Eric Adams.

They need to turn some of those loose in Tammany Hall. Maybe they would do something about backing Biden's invasions from our borders.

If the disease is 8 times more prevalent, isn't it safe to assume that New York has 8 times more rats?
I urge republican in the Senate to be very careful the Republican party has too many rats in it also.

The irony is of course lost on New York City government. I'm surprised that San Francisco has not had this problem. It's possible that they have and it's just being hidden.

Re #5, no, The Plague is caused by yersinia pestis, normally called y. pestis, spread through flea bites from infested rats.
Y. Pestis is endemic in rodents in North America, most commonly prairie dogs
This is from rat feces and urine, different nastiness. Most commonly known in tropical regions.....gee, how could it suddenly get here?
Another benefit of millions of illegal aliens crossing the border.

The elites will employ more exterminators for themselves. As for everyone else. Not their concern. This takes equivalency to the level of the sewer. Everyone is equal. Except for the elites.

Maybe the monies for the migrants should be used to clean up this mess. But, hey, people vote for Democrats so this is what they get. . .

This may be good news. Now there will be plenty of inexpensive meat to feed the southern migrants as they swarm in and live off tax payer dollars.
