Tyson Foods is facing boycott calls following a report that the company planned to hire migrants to work at its factories. Conservatives reacted with outrage to a now-retracted Scripps News article claiming that the company was hiring some of the asylum seekers who arrived in New York City. However, a spokesperson for Tyson Foods told Newsweek the figures presented in that retracted article were inaccurate. Tyson Foods responded to boycott calls in a statement. "In recent days, there has been a lot of misinformation in the media about our company,

Tyson is saying that they are strongly against illegal immigration. I say they lie. The headline is intentionally in error by the author -- there are no migrants, only illegal aliens.

FTA...'Immigration remains a key political issue ahead of the November presidential election, as the United States has seen an uptick in asylum seekers crossing the U.S.-Mexico border.' Wow! Talk about deceiving your readers. An 'uptick in asylum seekers'. First of all they're illegal aliens and that 'uptick' is around 9 million.

Tyson claims that there's been a lot of "misinformation" in the news concerning their company. "Misinformation" is their code word for 'sure, that's exactly what's going on but we really don't want everyone to know about it'. Sorta like the media stating they weren't going to report on Hunter's laptop because it was all "misinformation".

Simply because there are other venders, maybe not as cheap asterisk as Tyson, but cleaner, better and healthier in the long run. Call me when you get your company straightened out and flying right. There is a Tyson chicken plant in my town. I've heard (but have not confirmed) that illegals, undocumented, newcomers or whatever they are come from a nearby big city to work at the plant. Many of these workers are Muslims and must be permitted to have regular prayer breaks. Funny. Didn't think there were that many Muslims in Mexico and other Central and South American countries.

Which is kind of ironic, because they have been hiring tens of thousands of illegal aliens for decades. Just because they finally got rid of their last few white and citizen chicken pluckers recently, people are just now deciding to boycott them??? I've been boycotting Tyson* since they got Bill Clinton elected to be President. *Not an easy thing to do, since they not only have many brand names, (Thanks #1 for posting that list), they also supply lots of store brands and institutional food service operations including military mess halls and field ration makers.

President Biden’s and former President Trump’s recent visits to the Texas border left no doubt that the Biden administration’s open border policy has led to an invasion crisis. An estimated 7.2 million illegals have entered the U.S. under his presidency, an amount equal to the population of 36 states. While Biden continues to call for “border security,” Congress has gotten nowhere in the failed attempt to pass a law that would resume the Trump administration’s efforts to build a wall. Similarly, the Biden administration’s repeated promises to secure the border ring hollow despite being touted in the mainstream media echo chamber.

CEO Stephen Scherr's barely two-year ride with Hertz came to a screeching halt on Friday. In his wake, he leaves a company still working to recover from a big bet on electric vehicles gone bad. It will do so under new CEO Gil West, whose previous posts include executive roles at Delta Air Lines and the Cruise unit of General Motors. Scherr, who came on board in February 2022 after 30 years at Goldman Sachs, ushered the company through its emergence from bankruptcy. Hertz's EV push began in the previous year, with a splashy move to order 100,000 Tesla Model 3 vehicles.

An EV will likely not exceed five digits on the odometer because the cost to replace the battery in the typical 10-year span of a battery life will exceed the vehicle’s resale value, therefore making it economically impractical. Other authors have all cited valid facts about the impracticality of charging these things on long trips, the stress they will add to a fragile electric grid, the lack of enthusiasm in this country for adding additional reliable energy power plants, etc. None of this has made me want to rush right out and buy an EV, but just for the sake of developing a more complete picture,

The largest, most devastating dam removal experiment in modern history has reached the point of no return. As of January 23, 2024—despite opposition by a majority of local residents—the four hydroelectric dams on the Klamath River have been officially breached. Ironically, dam removal proponents claimed the project would help salmon, but now the Klamath River is being polluted with millions of cubic yards of decomposed algae, organic deposition, chemicals, and fine silt that has built up behind the dams. Dead steelhead trout and other species are floating to the banks. Any salmon spawning beds in the Klamath River were undoubtedly destroyed.

For almost a century, there has been one constant in American politics: Jews vote for Democrats. There are multiple reasons for this fact but, regardless of the reason, the one thing Democrats could rely on was the Jewish vote. However, the Biden administration’s increasingly open hostility to Israel may be changing that pattern. One poll out of New York shows something remarkable: More than 50% of New York’s Jews plan to vote for Donald Trump! When Eastern European Jews came to America, they were escaping tsarist oppression. For them, the opposite of tsarism was Marxism. This binary viewpoint wasn’t unique to them. In pre-WWII England
