Toronto police sparked outrage after advising residents to leave their car keys at the front door and let thieves to take their vehicles.
This shocking message comes as car thefts have soared by 150 percent over six years in Canada's largest city, forcing residents to hide their cars in secret locations and fortify them with round-the-clock security. [SNIP] Constable Marco Ricciardi addressed the issue and offered his controversial tip.
'To prevent the possibility of being attacked in your home, leave your fobs at your front door, because thieves are breaking into homes solely to steal cars. They don't want anything else,' said Ricciardi.

Failed government. Sounds like Canadians need to protect themselves. Too bad they gave up their guns...

Once they know there will be no resistance, you think they will still only just want the cars? Cops are there just to fill out the forms and to make sure you don't say anything derogatory about the perps or the cops.

O Canada! Our home and native land!
True patriot love thou dost in us command.
We see thee rising fair, dear land,
The True North, strong and free;
And stand on guard, O Canada,
We stand on guard for thee.

This might sound offensive but I don't care. Do they suggest women pull down their panties and hike up their skirts and sit on the steps waiting to be raped? This is one of the most pathetic suggestions I have ever heard from the government. What the hell is wrong with them? I suggest the government offer free guns, ammo, lessons and a new law that says it is okay to shot anyone who attempts to break a law on your person or property. This is disgusting.

I was going to buy a car here in the US but now I think I’ll buy a one way airfare to Toronto and pick up a new car for free.

And I keep my keys near my bed so I can push the car alarm if I hear weird sounds during the night. The car alarming can surprise unfavorable people.

Why not just arrest and try the thieves? Or does Saint Traudeu forbid it?

Question: Do you think that if the Constable were actually a part of or the leader of the criminal gang, he would have acted any differently? Hmmm
I gotta wonder what's his cut?

Yeah, give them the keys to the car. They can fill the trunk up with your TV, your computer, and your wife's jewelry.

This would never happen in the US. People that are smart are armed, at least in their own homes, and criminals know they might face an armed resistance. Canada is lost.

Oh Hoserstan; you land of timid slaves. Trudeau patsies learn, the government to fear. Face it guys!
When Life and Liberty are threatened...your government is MIA. Bow your heads, hand over your wallet and car keys, and get fitted for that stylish slave collar.

And the Toronto official giving that advice is not even self-aware enough to be ashamed. Rather than leaving the keys at the front door, I would just start keeping one of my handguns loaded and close at hand.

Nobody is going to leave their car keys outside their homes where potential car thieves can use those keys to steal their vehicles. The question is what do the automobile insurance companies think of that crazy police advice? What Canada needs are new elections across the country to get rid of the current Government of Canada.

I see a business opportunity here.
Create a website selling cars that permits customers to pick out the car they want.
After a brief search, the website returns the address where the selected car can be picked up.
