The Princess of Wales is in a 'fragile mental and physical state' and will be 'feeling miserable' amid the Mother's Day photo row, a royal expert claimed today as she urged for people to 'lay off her'. Kate publicly took the blame for a manipulated family photograph released by Kensington Palace on Sunday as she issued an apology for the 'confusion'. Royal commentator Jennie Bond suggested Kate 'must feel under intense pressure now whenever she's going to be seen in public' after her major surgery in January.

During the last week or two, this tabloid newspaper was inundated with gushing adulating news articles and photographs of Meghan Markle to the point of ad nauseam. What was not given fanfare was the fact that Meghan recently hired a United Kingdom public relations executive “to help with her image in the UK as she gears up for her “rumored lifestyle brand launch.”
This past Sunday was Mother’s Day in the UK and Kensington Palace released a photograph taken by Prince William of Princess Catherine and their three children. Princess Catherine has been recovering from an undisclosed planned abdominal surgery since January with her return to public service not scheduled until after Easter. The lovely photograph was dissected, criticized and ridiculed for allegedly having been manipulated to the point where Princess Catherine issued a public apology for her being an amateur photographer and having experimented with some editing of the photograph and the confusion it caused.
Considering the quick burst of “public outrage” emanating from that lovely photograph and Harry and Meghan “supporters” saying Harry and Meghan would not “have had a Photoshop fail and should take over” and “sources close to Harry and Meghan” saying the “Sussexes would have been ‘annihilated’ if they’d made same photoshop mistake as Kate—but insist Duchess wouldn’t have slipped up because of ‘freakish attention to detail’” might give pause for thought. Hiring “public relations” can serve a wide range of purposes, not the least of which could be to persist in finding ways to continue to criticize the Royal Family, especially the Prince and Princess of Wales. Hopefully such speculation is not true and the unfortunate happenstance may be serendipity.

I honestly don’t understand the attention paid to these people because all any of them seem to be are mannequins laced with carbon. And not too bright of mannequins at that. The totality of their responsibility appears to consist merely of being seen as perfect. When their nails need clipping or nostril hair shows or their shoes heels get worn or a stain appears on a cardigan the bubble is burst and the press goes after them mercilessly. But to what end? I will admit that the children are cute but so are my grandchildren.

Just leave the woman and her family alone. Allow her to recover and support her children. I feel disgust for what the media are doing.

I am so glad that there is nothing else going on in the world today to be concerned about that the British press and others have time to obsess over the Mother's Day photo of Princess Kate and her children. In the grand scope of world events, does it really matter if the picture was photoshopped? Who really cares except those who want the Royal Family to look bad!

I must be missing something... they provided a marked up version with a couple dozen supposed edits. I could detect nothing even when its explicitly pointed out.

What Prince William should do now is invite the most radical media photographer out there, gather his wife Catherine and his three children together and have that photographer take a number of group photographs of him, Catherine and their children, and then release those photographs to any media operations who wants them. That should end all this conspiracy BS.

Something reaally strange going on over there Catherine is nowhere to be found, W's cousin commits suicide, W is pretty much in hiding and I don't for a minute believe the story about "abdominal surgery" any official statement they're just spitballing people are so gullible. However I do believe Charles is very ill.

Well said, #1. But if this is the new PR firm's idea of how to help the Harkles, it will fail miserably. HM had a chance to stick up for the PoW and actually say something nice, but I guess there is no changing some people. Of course they came out with some snide comment AND also managed to re-enforce Meghan's victomhood status. How bad does a PR firm need to be be to not realize that all this is exactly what people dislike about these two? It was a nice picture of the kids--color, full face view!--and if Kate wanted to tweak it, BFD. That's it, no more mental bandwidth wasted on the tempest in a teacup.

The media breathlessly reports this as something significant. ABC is the one I watched, and they did a deep dive into tut tuting the story, as if they don't selectively censor their own reporting. What a joke.
