President Joe Biden's administration is investing $20 billion to build ship-to-shore cranes in America in order to keep Chinese hackers from spying at U.S. ports. Biden will sign an executive order Wednesday to give the U.S. Coast Guard new powers to issue basic cybersecurity requirements for transportation vessels and ports amid fears Chinese hackers will target American infrastructure, including ports, as it prepares for a potential invasion of Taiwan. One particular area of focus is ship-to-shore cranes, which move cargo containers off of vessels. 'We felt there was real strategic risk here,' said Anne Neuberger, U.S., deputy national security adviser for cyber and emerging technology.

Maybe Hidin' Biden should contact DJT secretly to see if there are some cheaper cranes to be had somewhere. He shouldn't fear spying and hacking. It is a fact of life, and it matters not, in upon which horse you rode.

Senile Joe's unelected Commie handlers knew about this 3 years ago. But they didn't do squat about it. Now they are reading the polls, so expect more anti-China moves, and more moves to secure the border (though minimally), so that they can brag to their sheeple base voters that they are "strong" in these areas. God bless and keep Donald Trump strong and faithful. It is our only hope of saving our republic at this point!!!!!

Where is "Biden" planning to buy the steel? He and Obama closed down the last of Americas structural steel plants, closed the forges, shut down the furnaces, smelters, ore mines, coke plants. The only steel we make anymore is from recycling of scrap. The time to "Do Something" about the Chinese taking over USA's ports(and major ports all around the world, as well as the Canals) was back when Obama/Biden granted them the waivers to do so.

The Chinese: "OK fine, we will turn the computer systems off, you can send people to hand flag the crane operators to latch/load/unlatch each and every individual container, hand log each one, coordinate the truck lines, loading shipping all with hand notes and runners..." I seem to recall when he was blaming the entire inflation, economy, shortages and price increases on "Logistical bottle necks" at the ports, and demanding increases in crews, shifts, speeds there. How does THIS plan not create an even worse situation? That will be ALL his fault.

Would like to say I'm totally on board with this. Yes, it's a good idea, but because it's a democrat administration you know someone will be making a lot money who shouldn't be. There is a PWB manufacturer in China that was exposed several years ago installing tiny chips embedded between layers in their boards. Visually hidden, even difficult to spot in an X-ray, the chips were capable of contacting the motherboard of the system they were installed in and allowing the Chinese government full access.

Send the Chinese cranes to the Texas border to be part of the wall. Young men can sharpen their welding skills by removing the control panels and any other possible 'eyes.' Let's see where are the best places to put these Chinese devices? Buried in concrete? Bottom of a dump?

If you've noticed a little green sticker on your PC or laptop, it likely means Nvidia's computer hardware — or graphics card, for the tech-minded — is inside. "Nvidia started off by making the chips that go into your PC that allow you to play games really fast," says Mark Pesce, an honorary associate in digital cultures at the University of Sydney. "So if you're running Fortnite at, say, 30 or 50 frames a second, then it's probably because you have an Nvidia chip in your PC making that happen." Nvidia opened its doors for business in 1993. The power of its hardware makes artificial intelligence (AI) applications developed by Tesla, Facebook, Amazon,

The Biden administration recently issued direct warnings to the Russian government against deploying a nuclear-capable anti-satellite weapon, U.S. officials confirmed to CBS News. The warning was part of a broader diplomatic push that has also involved urging the Indian and Chinese governments, among others, to weigh in directly with Moscow. The talks come after a warning from House Intelligence Committee chairman Mike Turner, Republican of Ohio — who issued a cryptic statement last week regarding a "serious national security threat" — propelled the matter to public prominence. White House National Security Communications Advisor John Kirby later said Turner's concern was related to a space-based "anti-satellite capability"

We keep on being gaslit with the argument that Joe Biden is dedicated to preserving the norms and laws of our Republic, while Trump is bent on destroying our Constitutional Republic. As with so many things argued by the Left, the opposite is the case. When Trump overstepped his authority and was chastised by the Court, he bowed to their authority. Biden? He does the opposite and brags about it. Example #1 is, of course, his student loan forgiveness efforts. Biden ran on providing student loan forgiveness, and when he assumed office, he tried to wipe away billions in this debt with the stroke of a pen.

Finally, at 6:37 p.m. ET, mission control announced: "We can confirm, without a doubt, our equipment is on the surface of the moon and we are transmitting." The lander's condition, however, was not yet clear.

Well, the feds can't be the only ones wondering about the cause of today's massive cellular-system failure. All three major networks reported outages at roughly the same time, and although there were areas of uninterrupted service, the failures seems to be widespread. Having all three networks seemingly impacted suggested something other than a single point of failure or error. Unlike the rest of us, federal agencies can do something about their own curiosity. According to ABC News, the feds have started investigating whether a cyberattack took place: A network disruption is affecting AT&T customers in the U.S. Thursday, prompting federal agencies to investigate whether the outage was caused by a cyberattack.

President Joe Biden is considering an immigration crackdown that closes the border if more than 8,500 try to cross in one day, a law repeatedly used by former President Donald Trump.
