Trump Hints At RNC Shake-Up When Asked

Former President Donald Trump suggested in an interview Sunday that “some changes” could be coming to the Republican National Committee when asked about Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel’s performance. Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings showed the RNC had only $8 million cash in hand, its lowest figure since 2014. “Sunday Morning Futures” host Bartiromo asked Trump during the interview about the RNC’s apparent cash issues under McDaniel, who came under fire after Republicans underperformed expectations of a “red wave” in the 2022 midterm elections and had a disappointing 2023 election night, losing control of the Virginia General Assembly and failing to unseat Democratic Gov. Andy Beshear of Kentucky.

As a reminder - President Trump endorsed this communist death democrat beast McDaniel who masquerades as a republican to be re-elected to head the RNC. President Trump's greatest weakness is in the many appalling personnel appointments he made during his first term who turned out to be his enemies. I am continuously hoping he learned from his prior mistakes but his backing the brutal featured McDaniel left me without much hope. Trump needs to come out immediately and demand her resignation. Today.

Trump is smart and has many excellent policies, but sometimes picks staff poorly. This was survivable when he was in private business - you can easily fire incompetents or people that lie to you. This is much harder at the Cabinet/senior staff level in the government, since the Senate must approve many of them. For example, Rex Tillerson (Trump's first Sec of State) liked to travel to foreign countries and badmouth Trump, Not to mention Jeff Sessions (Trump's first Attorney General), let the DOJ deep staters push him around and in effect allowed the whole "Steele Dossier" investigation to waste the first 2 years of Trump's administration. And, perhaps worst of all, Mike Pence. Rona RINO McDaniel must go, ASAP. She's lost 6 elections for the RNC in a row now. She should be replaced by Harmeet Dhillon!

Former President Donald Trump scored his largest lead yet against President Biden Sunday in a new NBC poll, as voters gave the incumbent poor marks across the board. Trump, 77, notched a 47% to 42% lead over Biden, 81, with registered voters, marking an increase from his 46% to 44% edge recorded in a November poll from the outlet. “This is the biggest lead NBC has ever had in 16 polls for Donald Trump over Joe Biden,” NBC’s political correspondent Steve Kornacki told “Meet the Press” on Sunday.

Immigration policies that admit vast numbers of low-skill workers are a plague on Americans in low-skill jobs, warned the late, great Barbara Jordan — the Texas congresswoman who chaired President Bill Clinton’s immigration commission back in the 1990s. Open borders make a welfare state unworkable, warned America’s leading Socialist, Sen. Bernie Sanders — before he started toeing the new Democratic Party line amid his 2016 presidential run. Warnings fully vindicated by The Post’s Isabel Vincent’s deep dive inside the city’s cash-based underground migrant economy.

When he left the White House, Donald Trump was a pariah. After years of bending Washington to his will with a single tweet, Trump was, at least for a moment, diminished. He was a one-term Republican president rejected by voters and then shunned by large swaths of his party after his refusal to accept his 2020 election defeat culminated in an insurrection at the U.S. Capitol that sent lawmakers running for their lives. Some members of his Cabinet had discussed invoking the 25th Amendment, seeing him unfit to remain in office. He was banned from social media and became the first president to be impeached twice.

Since Trump left office, the decline in alliances among these same voters for Democrats has continued, but the most recent numbers from Gallup on this front suggest that Dems aren't looking at just a trickling loss of support but a flood as fed-up black and Hispanic Americans are saying "adios" to Democrats in droves:

Special counsel Robert Hur’s portrait of a man who couldn’t remember when he served as Barack Obama’s vice president, or the year when his beloved son Beau died, dealt a blow to Biden’s argument that he is still sharp and fit enough to serve another four-year term.

Hawaii's highest court ruled Wednesday that Second Amendment rights as interpreted by the U.S. Supreme Court do not extend to Hawaii citizens, citing the "spirit of Aloha." In the ruling, which was penned by Hawaii Supreme Court Justice Todd Eddins, the court determined that states "retain the authority to require" individuals to hold proper permits before carrying firearms in public. The decision also concluded that the Hawaii Constitution broadly "does not afford a right to carry firearms in public places for self defense," further pointing to the "spirit of Aloha" and even quoting HBO's TV drama "The Wire."

The Biden administration thinks that a reformed Palestinian Authority (PA) could run a post-war Gaza Strip at peace with Israel, but that ignores several inconvenient facts: 1) The latest poll of Palestinian public opinion shows that the PA is deeply unpopular. 2) The same poll shows that 72% of respondents supported the massacre of October 7. But somehow a new Palestinian state in Gaza would embrace coexisting with Israel? 3) The PA has an abysmal track record of corruption and was too weak to prevent a Hamas-led coup in Gaza, less than two years after Israel’s withdrawal. Following Special Counsel Robert Hur’s report, which included stunning revelations of the deterioration of President Joe Biden’s mental state, Republican officials are calling to invoke the 25th Amendment. They state that “if ever there were a time to do so, now would be it,” and insist that if the president “is not competent to stand trial, then he is certainly not competent to lead the free world.” While highlighting evidence of America’s oldest ever president “willfully” mishandling classified documents, Special Counsel Hur’s report details Biden’s significant cognitive decline — perhaps more politically damning than his handling of classified materials.
