In a preview of her interview that will air Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” Republican presidential candidate former Gov. Nikki Haley (R-SC) said she didn’t know if former President Donald Trump would follow the Constitution in a second term.
Anchor Kristen Welker asked, “Do you think Donald Trump would follow the Constitution if he were elected to a second term?”
Haley said, “I don’t know. I mean, you always want to think someone will, but I don’t know.”
She added, “When you go and you talk about revenge. When you go and you talk about, you know, vindication. What does that mean? Like, I don’t know what that means and

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) said that former President Donald Trump made many wise decisions as president and can win in 2024 but the Utah Republican insisted he would “absolutely not” vote for him over President Joe Biden due to “character” and differences on foreign policy.
In an appearance on CNN’s “The Source” program on Wednesday, Mr. Romney said that, if the election were held today, President Trump “would probably win.”
He said there are “a lot” of things President Trump has done better than President Biden, adding that “Joe Biden has made extraordinary mistakes on the immigration front. It’s embarrassing how bad he’s been.”

Pope Francis said Sunday that military disarmament is not optional but constitutes a “moral obligation” for all nations.
Following his weekly Angelus address in Saint Peter’s Square, the pontiff recalled that March 5 marks the second International Day for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation Awareness.
“How many resources are wasted on military expenditure, which, because of the current situation, sadly continues to increase!” he told the estimated 20,000 tourists and pilgrims gathered in the square. (snip) Francis is also the only pope to ever declare that not only the use of nuclear weapons, but also their mere possession “is immoral.”

Oregon has reportedly voted to reverse its hard drug decriminalization because of the overdose epidemic now affecting the state.
In 2020, almost 60 percent of Oregon voters approved Measure 110, which decriminalized the possession of relatively small amounts of hard drugs, including heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine, and fentanyl.
The measure predictably led to Oregon becoming a den of drug addicts and drug overdoses.

Republican primary candidate Nikki Haley appeared to row back on her pledge to endorse Donald Trump when her failing campaign eventually comes to an end.
“I think I’ll make what decision I want to make,” Haley said in an interview with NBC’s Meet the Press on Sunday. “But that’s not something I’m thinking about.”
The Republican National Committee (RNC) required all candidates who appeared on the debate stage to sign a pledge indicating they would support the party’s eventual nominee. When asked about whether she would endorse Trump even

The first-ever transgender voting center is opening its doors on Saturday for the California primary election, according to CBS News.
The Connie Norman Transgender Empowerment Center in Los Angeles County will be available to voters from March 2 to March 5 and while it is open to all Californians, the center is mainly focusing on creating a safe environment for the LGBTQ community to vote in, CBS News reported. Democratic Lt. Gov. Eleni Kounalakis visited the center Thursday and touted it as a “significant milestone” for LGBTQ Americans, according to KFI, a local media outlet.

Meanwhile in the Democrat hellhole of California…
Illegal aliens will get interest-free home mortgage loans under a new California bill.
Democrat assemblymember Joaquin Arambula (Fresno) recently introduced Assembly Bill 1840 to extend a first-time homebuyer loan program to illegal aliens.
If the bill becomes law, illegal aliens will be eligible for a new program that offers a loan worth 20% of the purchase price of the residential property. There are no monthly payments and no interest accrues on the loan. Rather, the loan is paid back when the borrower refinances or sells the property.

American families struggling with high food prices due to inflation should eat cereal for dinner in order to save money, Kellogg’s CEO Gary Pilnick, who has an estimated net worth of $15.7 million, said.
It’s no secret that American families are suffering due to inflation under the Biden administration. Kellogg’s CEO Gary Pilnick, a multi-millionaire, views the issue as a great opportunity to market his company’s brand, suggesting that cash-strapped families eat “cereal for dinner.” “The cereal category has always been quite affordable, and it tends to be a great destination when consumers are under pressure,” Pilnick told CNBC

A new find of underground helium in Minnesota could turn out to be one of the largest in the world, Minneapolis’s WCCO-TV reported Thursday.
The drill site, just outside Babbitt in the northeastern part of the state, took about a month from initially breaking ground to get to a depth of 2,200 feet.
What it found there, Pulsar Helium CEO Thomas Abraham-James called “a dream.” “There was a lot of screaming, a lot of hugging and high fives. It’s nice to know the efforts all worked out and we pulled it off,” Abraham-James told WCCO.
He said that the concentration of helium sampled was 12.4 percent — about 30 times

This week all eyes were on the Willis-Wade fiasco in Fulton County, Georgia, but three less smuttily scintillating cases seem at last to be limiting the overreach of the Department of Justice respecting the J6 defendants and Jack Smith’s persecution of President Donald Trump. In interpreting criminal statutes, it seems to me that Courts should not be creative and expansively read into them things that the legislature which writes the laws did not clearly proscribe as illegal, and it appears that finally, courts higher than the highly partisan D.C. Circuit judges understand that.

New York Attorney General Letitia James, of Trump prosecution fame, has turned her lawfare sights on one of the country’s, and in fact one of the world’s, largest meat producers.
Via The Post Millennial (emphasis added):
On Wednesday, New York Attorney General Letitia James announced that she had filed a lawsuit against meat producer JBS Foods' American division, JBS USA Food Company.
James alleged that officials were "misleading the public" about the JBS USA's environmental impact, namely via their claim that the company would "achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2040" while still planning to "increase production*, and therefore increase its carbon footprint.

CNN has been desperately treading water for years now. The former king of cable news has been bleeding ratings for years, with Fox News typically topping all the networks night after night. CNN still fancies itself the "most trusted name in news," yet, even former CEO Chris Licht admitted last year that that trust — assuming at one point they actually had it — is long gone and they need to restore it. He didn't last long.
The problem, of course, is that CNN claims to be fair and without bias, yet anti-conservative views have long been part of its DNA,
