California Democratic Rep. Adam Schiff experienced a career-defining moment during Monday’s senate debate, when he was called out by Republican candidate Steve Garvey. Garvey might have retired from professional baseball, but that didn’t stop him from hitting a serious slugger into the heart of Schiff’s political career Monday, as they faced off for the late Dianne Feinstein’s open seat. During one of his rebuttals, shared on Twitter, Garvey turned to Schiff and said, “I think you’ve been censured for lying.” The silence only hung in the air for a moment, but it felt like an age.

Sadly, it's likely the first time the tens of thousands who watched ever heard he was censured for lying. Notice how bull Schiff kept up the scam by mentioning "I stood up to a corrupt person" despite any evidence Trump was corrupt, compromised or any such thing. Unfortunately, Democrats and those who support today's Democrat party (very left of center) still believe Trump is all of those things because the press has done ZERO to report the truth. The Steele Dossier was bogus, and the FBI knew it very quickly (before the election). The phone call was not an impeachable offense. J6 now looks a whole lot less of what the Democrat story, as has been told. Schiff should have to answer why his committee destroyed evidence they gathered just prior to Republicans taking over House control.

Garvey looks and sounds Reaganesque: “Sir, you lied to 300 million people, you can’t take that back,” Garvey casually replied, anointing Schiff with a label he may carry for the rest of his life. Schiff will likely always be known as a man who “lied to 300 million people” and was censured in 2023 regarding his actions around allegations Trump colluded with Russia during his 2016 presidential campaign. This one sentence by Garvey summarizes the situation perfectly, and just rolls off the tongue.

Steve Garvey looked and sounded great! He had an even keel response to a no good, lying pos, aka adam "shiff for brains". After reading the article, I had to peruse the comments. One commenter couldn't believe shiff for brains had the gall to show his face in public after ying to 300 million people. That's the thing about demonrats like shiffy (okay, all demonrats period), they wear their lies like badges of honor.

Things like Schiff have no shame. Most people, even if they lie, have a sense that they are doing something wrong but feel justified. Schiff (and Hillary, ...) are perfectly comfortable about lying (and more). The only thing they worry about is severe blow back. Congressional censure is a joke, EXCEPT when it is masterfully mentioned at moments like this, where it reminds everyone that this "person" is a facile and unrepentant liar. Maybe that's OK for a media hack but not for someone trying to get elected. Hopefully this will be the end of Schiff in Congress.

Judge Allows Trump And Co-Defendants To

Judge Scott McAfee ruled Wednesday that former President Donald Trump and eight other co-defendants can seek review of his decision not to disqualify Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis. McAfee granted the certificate of immediate review sought by defendants, finding it “of such importance to the case that immediate review should be had.” The decision means defendants can appeal McAfee’s decision, which allowed Willis to stay on the case against Trump after special prosecutor Nathan Wade stepped down, despite finding an “appearance of impropriety” in their actions.
Supreme Court green lights Texas law that

The Supreme Court on Tuesday allowed a Texas law to take effect that enables state law enforcement to arrest people they suspect are illegally entering the United States from Mexico. The three liberal justices publicly dissented from the court’s order clearing the way for the controversial statute, SB4. The order is not a final decision, and the case could return to the high court. The Biden administration had urged the justices to block the law, passed by Texas’s Republican-controlled legislature last year, asserting it is an “unprecedented intrusion into federal immigration enforcement.”

The State of Texas is terminating a massive $8.5 billion investment with trillion-dollar asset manager BlackRock over the state's determination that the firm is engaged in a boycott of energy companies. In an announcement first shared with FOX Business, Texas State Board of Education Chairman Aaron Kinsey said the so-called Texas Permanent School Fund (PSF) had delivered a notice to BlackRock on Tuesday, informing the New York City-based firm of the action. According to Kinsey, the move was made in accordance with a 2021 state law that seeks to distance the state and its large public purse from financial institutions boycotting the oil and gas sector.

The Washington State Supreme Court officially abolished the traditional bar exam requirement for aspiring lawyers Friday due to its perceived negative impact on minorities. The Supreme Court has announced that the bar exam is no longer a requirement for those who aspire to be practicing lawyers. The Bar Licensure Task Force claims that the exam is only minimally effective in measuring competency and noted its unfair barrier to marginalized communities aspiring to practice law, according to the Washington Administrative Office of the Courts. The Task Force on Bar Licensure found that the usual bar exam unfairly stops people from underrepresented groups from entering the legal profession.

The Biden administration finalized a rule on Wednesday that’s expected to make a significant amount of the new car market electric or hybrid. An administration official told reporters Tuesday that under the new rule, 56 percent of the new vehicles on the market in 2032 could be battery electric, while an additional 13 percent could be plug-in hybrids. That’s up from a collective 16 percent of sales being electric and hybrid cars last year. The rule is a cornerstone of the Biden administration’s climate agenda, as the cars and other light-duty vehicles it regulates currently make up about 17 percent of U.S. planet-warming emissions.
