The FBI -- the Dog That Turned on Its Master

eedback is a fundamental principle of control theory. All systems, regardless of whether they’re technical or social, require negative feedback to maintain predictability and stability. System actions which deviate from those desired must trigger a response which counteracts (rather than reinforces) the deviation. When an automobile begins to accelerate, the cruise control applies negative feedback by reducing the throttle to maintain control. Were it to do otherwise, the car’s behavior would be unpredictable or even catastrophic. The same principle applies to people. Accountability for one’s actions maintains the predictability of human behavior.

Comments:

More evidence that the FBI must abolished and be replaced with an accountable federal law enforcement organization.

I don't believe the FBI ever had a master. If it did, it was a long time ago. They are cabal to their own.

Now we know why the founders made no provision for federal law enforcement in The Constitution. They knew that too much power always corrupts and brings disaster. I say shut them down and replace them with nothing. We can defend ourselves from criminals and still stand a fighting chance. We cannot defend against the fed's corruption. Ask any J6 political prisoner.

Trump has done a 180 on the FBI, Where he once said that he would break it up and headquarter it somewhere outside of D.C., like Kansas City, he now wants to give them a beautiful new building in Washington. That has sent many on the right into a dither, but they don't understand. Why would he change his mind on this? I believe the answer is simple. After much thought, Trump remembered the old saying, "Keep your friends close...but your enemies closer!" The FBI, CIA, NSA and all the other alphabet organizations will do their very best to keep Trump out of the White House, and he wants them where he can keep a close eye on them. And the Donald will have his own private security detail, just in case.

I still don't understand how the "line" agents in the FBI are putting up with the corruption within the Bureau at the highest levels - we really need Mathew Whitaker as Attorney General the you'll see the feathers fly

The left’s hypocrisy over Harvard laid bare 4 replies

What must you do to fail at Harvard? It used to be pretty clear. You had to be caught cheating. Or doing something so outrageous that it’d get you thrown off campus. Not anymore. Today Harvard is an institution that thinks that antisemitism is OK and believes that plagiarism is fine. Not long ago, a student would have been kicked out for either of these sins. Today the president has been caught at both. And the board of the university stuck by her. Even when she decided to step down this week, both she and her supporters went into full-on “victimhood mode.”

Another day, another leak. Special Counsel Jack Smith has “sprawling” evidence against President Trump, CBS News reporter Robert Costa said citing sources. “Based on our reporting at CBS News, the special counsel has phone records,” Robert Costa said. “He has memos and diary entries from key witnesses, like former Vice President Mike Pence, key eyewitness testimony from people who are inside the Oval Office with Trump.” Robert Costa continued, “But they had something in the special counsel’s office the January 6th Committee never had which is subpoena power to really go deep with witnesses and not just get public testimony and some depositions....”

More than half of American voters expect the highly consequential 2024 presidential election to be marred with cheating and fraud and believe mail-in voting impedes election integrity, according to a recently conducted survey. “How likely is it that the outcome of the 2024 presidential election will be affected by cheating?” Rasmussen Reports asked 1,029 voters on Nov. 13 to Nov. 15. Fifty-six percent of respondents believe cheating is likely to affect the election results while 31 percent anticipate election fraud is “very likely” to skew the outcome. Additionally, the survey found a majority of voters believe mail-in ballots facilitate voter fraud.

MSNBC contributor and former Democrat U.S. Senator of Missouri, Claire McCaskill, recently went on air and wrongly claimed Donald Trump is “even more dangerous” than dictators Benito Mussolini and Adolf Hitler. While on MSNBC’s Dateline, McCaskill stated, “A lot of people have tried to draw similarities between Mussolini and Hitler and the use of the terminology like ‘vermin’ and the drive that those men had towards autocracy and dictatorship.” She continued, “The difference, though, I think makes Donald Trump even more dangerous, and that is he has no philosophy he believes in.”

Why did Hamas terrorists gleefully mass murder civilians in Israel?... And why did the crowds of “civilians” cheer and beat the dead bodies of Israelis paraded in the backs of pickup trucks in Gaza? Further, why do governments and Muslims throughout the world claim to support Hamas and/or the Palestinians? To comprehend all of this, Westerners need to gain an understanding of the religio-political movement called “Islamism.” Islamism is an entirely different phenomenon than Western political parties, and its goals and values are vastly different. Islamism is the 100-year-old movement for Islamic revival, and has been led by Iran since its Islamic revolution in 1979.

According to one estimate I have seen, in 1973 there were only about 13,000 children being homeschooled. Today the number is over 5 million—and may be much higher, as many states do not track the numbers very carefully. The Washington Post has noticed, and you can tell they are worried about it. (The left has always hated homeschooling, and the teachers unions rightly understand what a threat homeschooling is to their gravy train, as most public schools derive their revenue by how many students are enrolled.)

Sure, you could study hard to get a degree. But at Spelman, where I taught, you could also get a top administrator to change your grades. When I accepted a tenure-track position in the economics department of Spelman College in the spring of 2021, handing out bogus grades was the last thing on my mind. Spelman, after all, has a great reputation. Based in Atlanta, it’s a women-only historically black college, one of the oldest in the country; for the past 15 years, it’s been rated the number one HBCU by U.S. News & World Report.

Two stories out this week highlighted the growing concern over the “reckless” transition to the globalists’ vision of the energy industry: the first questioned whether or not public services were “equipped” to handle the unique “challenges and risks” posed when electric vehicle batteries catch fire, while the second covered a brand-new study published yesterday by Science Magazine, one of the world’s most prestigious, longstanding, and recognized academic journals (it first entered circulation almost 150 years ago).

Rep. Adam Schiff has a new plan to save ‘democracy’ by abolishing the filibuster, getting rid of the Electoral College and packing the U.S. Supreme Court. Republican presidential primary candidate Nikki Haley once seemingly parroted a talking point used by Democrats that suggests climate change is partially to blame for mass immigration to the United States and other countries. In January 2017, Haley went before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee to be confirmed as ambassador to the United Nations (UN) in then-President Donald Trump’s administration. Sen. Jeff Merkley (D-OR), in a written question, asked Haley about so-called “climate refugees,” as Democrats claim that mass immigration to the U.S. and other countries is partially due to global warming’s destroying crops, conditions, and communities in certain regions of the world. London has suspended several electric buses after a seemingly spontaneous fire broke out in a double-decker bus, sparking calls for a re-examination of every electric bus used in the capital’s fleet. On Thursday, an electric bus caught on fire on Wimbledon Hill Road in London. No-show bus rides, fatigue, and illnesses are making it hard for some migrants housed in Floyd Bennett Field tents to send their children to school, parents told The Post. During school hours this week, The Post observed at least 15 children skipping class outside the city’s controversial mega-tent shelter in southeast Brooklyn, where roughly 1,900 migrants are housed. Despite the city forking over $625,000 this year for buses to take students from the isolated national park to a subway stop, parents blamed missing shuttles for their kids losing out on class time.

If you thought that Joe Biden is a prolific pusher of malarkey, it seems that his wife, Jill, wants to challenge him for the crown. She would have to go a ways, but she's making a big effort with a comment that she made to the audience on the "Morning Joe" show. We already reported on her interview with Mika Brezinski which was just a horrible effort to sell Joe Biden for his re-election. But that isn't going over very well. It just makes it more apparent how desperate Biden's situation is in terms of the polls when she has to make such an effort.

On next steps, 56% are willing to see him disqualified in all or some states, including 30% who say the high court should bar him in all states and 26% who say it should let each state decide.
