Trump settled into a more private life after the White House away from her husband's 2024 campaign appearances and reportedly had been a reluctant first lady. Back in my day, cheerleaders were hot and gorgeous, at least at the University of Colorado/Boulder where I watched them. They were the best-looking girls on campus, and that was saying a lot at the time in Boulder. After I graduated and left Boulder, they were evidently unable to attract the same quality without me. In fact, they resorted to male cheerleaders. There were sniggers that the male cheerleaders were probably a bit light-footed, if you know what I mean. That was before light-footedness, if you know what I mean, became the Next Big Thing. But male cheerleaders mostly faded

The perpetrator of a 2022 firebombing of Dairy State pro-life group Wisconsin Family Action has agreed to plead guilty in exchange for a yet-to-be-determined prison sentence of less than 20 years. In the early hours of Mother's Day 2022, following the May leak of a draft of the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling that would overturn Roe v. Wade, WFA's Madison headquarters was hit with an arson attack that burned one of the walls. The building was also defaced with a graffiti threat that "if abortions aren't safe then you aren’t either," as well as an anarchist "A" symbol and "1312,"

While their people languish in poverty and are treated as human shields, the leaders of Hamas live billionaire lifestyles. The terror group’s three top leaders alone are worth a staggering $11 billion between them and enjoy a life of luxury in the sanctuary of the emirate of Qatar. The emirate has long welcomed the leaders of the terror group and installed them in its luxury hotels and villas at the same time as hosting a vast American military presence. Now Republican Tennessee Congressman Andy Ogles is co-sponsoring a bill that would strip Qatar … as a key US ally.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Tuesday that a “revitalized” Palestinian Authority should retake control of Gaza if Israel succeeds in its goal of toppling Hamas, but that regional partners and international agencies could play an interim role. The comments by Blinken during testimony before the Senate Appropriations Committee marked the first time the Biden administration has publicly declared its desire for the PA to return to the Gaza Strip, after privately raising the idea with regional partners since the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war. “At some point, what would make the most sense would be for an

NITERÓI, Brazil. The sight of the newcomer took Gino Fonseca by surprise. As one of the city’s most prominent drag queens, Fonseca thought he knew most everyone who worked the nightclubs and LGBTQ events. But when he ascended a Pride parade float dressed in his drag persona, Katya Furacão, he saw a dazzling young drag performer he’d never before encountered. Fonseca watched Kitara Ravache, who wore a red bejeweled dress. The newcomer had appeared from nowhere but was already at the top of the local gay scene, dancing alongside the most established drag queens in this Rio de Janeiro suburb.

The race is on to prevent the sinking of a cargo ship off the Dutch coast which is carrying almost 3,000 vehicles, including 350 Mercedes-Benz, as it burns out of control with an electric car believed to be behind the deadly fire. At least one crew member died and others were injured after fire ripped through the Fremantle Highway, a 18,500-ton car-carrying vessel. Rescue helicopters and boats evacuated 23 crew members from the Panamanian-registered ship. Officials have said there are 'many' wounded. Some suffered broken bones, burns and breathing problems and were taken to hospitals in the northern Netherlands

Drones struck Moscow on Tuesday but were neutralised, Russia said, in what one politician called the worst attack on the capital since World War II, while Kyiv was also hit from the air for the third time in 24 hours. Since Russia invaded its neighbour in February last year, the war has largely been fought inside Ukraine, though Moscow has reported some attacks on its territory and blamed them on Ukraine, including an alleged assassination attempt against President Vladimir Putin. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said two people were injured, but not seriously, while some residents in two lightly damaged apartment

Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan appeared to take umbrage at Justice Sonia Sotomayor’s majority opinion in a copyright case involving Andy Warhol and Prince, telling readers in her dissent that she would trust their “good judgment” rather than counter her colleague’s “fistfuls of comeback footnotes.” The shot at Kagan’s fellow liberal came in a lengthy second footnote of her dissent, which several Supreme Court observers found “interesting” and “noteworthy.” . . . Kagan wrote, “ . . . the majority opinion is trained on this dissent in a way majority opinions seldom are. Maybe that makes the majority opinion self-refuting?”

Former Clinton White House Communications Director George Stephanopoulos, now host of “This Week” on ABC, commented on the results of a recent ABC News/Washington Post poll Sunday. The short version: “This poll is just brutal for President Biden.” Stephanopoulos was introducing ABC News Political Director Rick Klein, who went into the specifics. “The skepticism over his leadership extends deep inside his own party,” Klein said of President Joe Biden. As evidence, Klein said that only 36 percent of the Democrats surveyed by the poll said that the incumbent should run for a second term. More than half preferred “someone else,”

Senate Republicans found themselves shaken and disoriented Thursday after finding out their leader Sen. Mitch McConnell (Ky.) was in the hospital after tripping at a private event, raising questions about his health and future leadership of the GOP conference. McConnell, who in January became the longest serving party leader in Senate history, has led the Senate GOP conference since 2005 and has helped guide his colleagues through some of the biggest moments in recent history — the 2008 financial collapse, the near default of the U.S. government in 2011, the fiscal cliff of 2012, the two impeachment trials of …

On a clear, sunny day in April 2014, two F/A-18s took off for an air combat training mission off the coast of Virginia. The jets, part of my Navy fighter squadron, climbed to an altitude of 12,000 and steered towards Warning Area W-72, ... Just at the moment the two jets crossed the threshold, one of the pilots saw a dark gray cube inside of a clear sphere — motionless against the wind, fixed directly at the entry point. The jets, only 100 feet apart, zipped past the object on either side. The pilots had come so dangerously close

The article is relatively meaningless. The photograph that comes with the article is priceless. Michelle Obama tries to look chic but fails miserably as Melania effortlessly leaves her in the dust. Michelle glares at Melania with resentful envy.
