Out today, Controligarchs: Exposing the Billionaire Class, Their Secret Deals, and the Globalist Plot to Dominate Your Life, blows the lid off of Meta’s pattern of intentionally using harmful and aggressive tactics to get users addicted to social media apps like Facebook and Instagram and documents a shocking rise in depression and suicide that some scientists have linked to social media use. This comes just weeks after dozens of state attorneys general (AGs) filed suit against Facebook’s and Instagram’s parent company, Meta Platforms Inc. (Meta), and three of its subsidiaries, for harming children by addicting them to the social media platforms. Forty-two states, including California and New York,

I became addicted to C…. C…. and another online game. Soon I spent hours each day, playing the games. My dreams became filled with the games. It came to the point that dreams were real to me. In my Waking hours When I closed my eyes I could see the games continue to happen. I quit cold turkey. It took some time for me to dream of other more pleasant things

Used to be that we had to wait 2-5 years between each James Bond movie to see an insane, over the top, megalomaniac billionaire trying to take over the world.
Now there are dozens of them working full time, every day doing the same thing in the real world.

These people think they will live forever "in the cloud" or somewhere, but there will be a reckoning.
And AI won't save them from the eternal lake of fire.

Parents need to take back the reins on the access to computers for their kids. Make them go outside and play for a few hours a day and give them chores to do around the house. They won't have all that much time to be surfing the web and get into god knows what websites.

So, when you're in your new smart city with limited ability to go anywhere (you'll eventually need to be provided access), and won't own anything, they'll keep you entertained with Virtual Reality entertainment.
You'll end up "visiting" places but never leave your home as it will all be Virtual Reality.

I can see why so many of these wannabe Lex Luthors are pushing so hard to develop artificial intelligence, which currently does not exist, even in primitive form. Their own minds are so narrow and deficient that they need something else to think for them. Zuckerberg and Gates are certified idiots and they have lots of company.

See the movie, "The Social Dilemma" for a balanced look at what Zuckie et al have had up their sleeve especially to what they have done to our young people. And look at the lavish lifestyle Zuckie leads at your expense.
The addiction to social media didn't just happen yesterday. It's been in the works for a good while. Look around the next time you are at home looking at your kids, in a public place, or at an airport and observe the SM addicts. Tech addiction at its best.
How to dry out from such an addiction? How about start using our mouths again for communication before the human mouth disappears from the human genome due to lack of use.

this and many other reason(s) are why "the people" detest the ultra wealthy who, when they achieve their ultra wealthy status begin to think they can run the world and use and manipulate people to their liking and for their pleasure
- reminds me of the Emperors of Rome at the Coliseum watching the Christians being killed by the wild animals or the Gladiators in mortal combat to please the Emperor

Never forget one of the globists at Davos told the news that they were working on managing information so they knew ever step WE take...what WE buy and what WE think...they can access our records from medical to purchases with our phones...so I went cold turkey...and stopped using cards for purchases...I buy everything locally and pay with cash...good ole American cash...

Zuckerbreath can't (or won"t) stop hacking on FB let alone his other "platforms..." Case in point, all of the "friend requests from Raul 1102933384447" Surgeon Doctor and Military General..

Um. "Reengineering society" sounds like a pretty solid idea to me sometimes. The real problem would be in finding the right engineers.
