A female pool player recently forfeited a tournament upon realizing she would be facing off with a transgender opponent – a man who identifies as a woman.
Lynne Pinches made it all the way to the finals at the English Pool Association’s 2023 Champion of Champions Ladies on Sunday and opted to forfeit in protest of competing against a transgender named Harriet Haynes.
“A video of the moment shows that Pinches and Haynes vied to see who would break,” noted the New York Post. “Pinches won and shook hands with Haynes but then walked toward the tournament official and apparently declared a forfeit.”

Shes a bigger winner for refusing to be used in freak games. Good for her. Hope there are more in the future.

She's the tournament winner. The mentally unbalanced MAN in a dress is the loser....of course, he's probably been a loser his entire life.

She quit because two balls were already in her opponent's side pocket.

#1’s description “ freak games” is spot on. Hence forth that is exactly how we should refer to any competition that tolerates this perversion.

If more women did this, it would stop cold transgenders in womens' sports. There are more real women in womens' sports than transgenders, and if the real women refuse to participate, it kills the competition, and by the way, denies the sponsors all the registration fees. Any woman who competes against a man pretending to be a woman is just allowing him to claim that his "win" is legitimate.
Remember how Trump killed the nerd prom, AKA the White House Correspondents' Dinner during his term? It wasn't any fun if they couldn't go and utter vicious "jokes" to him and his staff, so they didn't go.

Sadly this is what it’s going to take. Once women start standing up to promoters and leagues that allow these guys to crash the party then this will change. Everyone women in the tournament should have walked away at day 1. Nobody is going to pay to watch some guy play pool by himself.

Until women (biological, real women) refuse to compete against these frauds it will continue. Also, spectators need to reject this folly. Good on her.

#9 - That's not the point. It was a woman's pool tournament, not an open contest.

Good for her and for all women who refuse to compete against a man. But I do see a drawback to this. Men saying they are women and entering a contest, race, swim meet etc. and if the competition leaves, the man goes home with the trophy and money.
BTW...off topic. I watched a few minutes of Biden meeting XI a few minutes ago. They were all sitting at a long table, the Chinese on one side and the Americans on the other. There was a quick scan of everyone there and I did not see any of the freaks that Biden has in his administration. Probably didn't want to see the Chinese falling down laughing. Right?

Yes, even in pool (billiards), men should play men and women should play women. It is not supposed to be a battle with the trannies or homos. Nevertheless, the invented sexes that biden the cheater's throwbacks created, it defies Darwinian evolution.
Funny though isn't it, trannies and homos, that only a biological man and a biological woman can still conceive a new life, but not you. You ever wondered about that? You know, when a male's sperm cell meets the female's egg, the egg is fertilized and a new life begins, again. Only two sexes, trannies and homos, you care to comment. Trannies and homos, you still care to comment about that rebellious schtick in the 60s that your hippie earliers were stuck in with their Volkswagen vans? Today is just another immature rebellious repeat?

OK, but pool is the one sport where men and women can compete equally. Strength and size aren't a factor in playing that game.

Do male brains have a spatial-perception advantage, letting them 'see' their planned shots better? I'm not really sure why pool contests should be segregated by sex in the first place. But where they are thus divided, that should be respected (and enforced).

#9 / #13 . . . the article reveals that sex and strength actually can make a difference: "Break shots can contribute to an advantage in a given match."
This female professional pool player probably understands that better than we do.

If there is no competitive advantage for a biological man in the cue sports then why are there separate male and female leagues and associations? I think it's pretty obvious that if Ms. Haynes truly believed there was no difference she would compete against biological men and win their cup. But apparently she can't, so to win she plays against biological women.

YES, it does. Dont ask me how or why, but it does. I was just an average player back in the day and had to play a pro lady player in a tournament once, and sent her home crying. Guys in the pool hall used to say that women lack the killer instinct.
