Over the past few years, we have been lectured to by professed scientists to “follow the science,” echoed by the corporate media that often sees financial gain in following particular views of science.
For example, Pfizer is alleged to sponsor 15 television news shows, a sure fire way to get their version of “the science” (and their products) out to the masses.
Much of the COVID dogma broadcast by the medical establishment and health authorities turned out to be wrong, from masks and lockdowns to vaccine efficacy and safety. Yet these views could not be challenged without threat of losing one’s employment or licensure, in the case of health care workers

it looks like almost every other commercial on TV is for some kind of medication whether it's for skin problems or diabetes or some internal organ problem - I utilize my "mute" button more than any other selector button in my remote
why does it always show people dancing after they've taken these medications?

Yup, climate is changing - temps dropped almost 50 degrees over the past week. Darn that climate warming - it isn't working. Oh, well Mother Nature wins, it is late fall and yes it is time for warmer jackets :)

# 1 - you just hit on one of my pet peeves. The insanely smiling, laughing people in commercials. And the medicine commercials are lost on me because they never tell you what they're for. Then the commercials with a family sitting in a pristine white room, white rug, two children playing with toys on the coffee table, dressed in white and playing quietly and sweetly. I have been know to change the channel for a minute or two when these come on.

One of my favorites is for a drug I don't remember the name of, that after telling how fabulous it is, speaks of "death and other serious side effects ".

Comparison of rural temps v urban temps
the raw rural data shows little warming over the past 100 years and none over the past 50 years. But the "experts" adjust the rural data to approach the urban heat island data.
"trust the science" or the "scientists /

And then to back all that up, poster #6, the enemedia and their weather channel and weather nation cohorts are blacking out the cold temperatures currently encompassing the U.S. They'd rather talk about the handful of high temperatures in Florida than the foot or two of snow that fell in portions of the Rockies and surrounding areas, not to mention the cold temperatures affecting two thirds of the country!

The dancing and yelling in current TV ads is a guarantee of a channel change in my home. I haven't had a marketing class in a while but they used to teach that a commercial should be pleasant and entice one to buy the product. Dancing by obese people, yelling, screaming and stuffing food and drinks into your mouth like a pig at a trough can't possibly sell a product to a reasonably civilized human being. If you took all of the drugs that you "should" be taking every day, according to the corporate pushers, you would probably drop dead that same day.
Pfizer was responsible for many deaths during the COVID scam, both during the test phase and after giving people millions of clot shots, for which they lost billions of dollars because most of the population refused them so now they are planning to conduct infomercials to sell even more to recoup their losses? Not a chance.

I have been watching the sunspot numbers, and they have decreased substantially in each of the four 11-year cycles that I have watched.
In the 1700s there was the Maunder Minimum, where there were no sunspots for decades, and this was followed by a century of extreme cold. The River Thames and Zider Zee froze over solid for months every winter. The Dutch held skating competitions on the Zuider Zee, and the British had "Frost Fairs" with merchants building temporary stores for the winter out on the Thames. Napoleon lost his army in Russia due to extreme, unusual cold, even for Russia.
We have been slowly recovering to normal, for an Interglacial Warm Period, after the Little Ice Age.
Yes, it is likely that we are headed for another ice age.
THAT is also out of our control, and we must just adapt. Human activities have no influence on global climate, now or ever.
