A statement from Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung delved into the latest scandal rocking the political primary world: Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s shoes. “A scathing new article from POLITICO about Ron DeSanctimonious’ high-heeled shoes comes on the heels of an embarrassing interview on the Patrick Bet-David show that led to #bootgate trending on X,” the statement read, explaining that DeSantis offered up “the implausible explanation that he just wears off-the-rack Lucchese boots, doing major brand damage to a great American footwear company.” The Trump campaign also mocked DeSantis for his “laughable claim that he’s 5’11”.

Who gives a damn. DeSantis has been and continues to be a terrific Governor for Florida. Based on his record in Florida, if he could run for a third term I would vote for him if he was a 2' 11" midget. I wish Trump would stop with the childish attacks on DeSantis. He is looking very petty and foolish. Stop President Trump. You are just playing into the Communist Death Democrats hands. DeSantis one day will make a great President and hopefully he is learning from his mistakes this time around. His time is in the future in 2028.

Well #5, Trump does not focus on DeSantis or Hailey. I have listened to several stump speeches lately and Ron and Nikki barely mentioned. He focused on the border and other important issues. He responds to the stories and this one is out there. All candidates take advantage of each other’s missteps, important or not. When Trump does it, the others will not let it pass either.

Although Trump had far more good policy decisions than bad ones, his pettiness, inflated ego, and "bad boss" demeanor disqualifies him for reelection, much less nomination, for POTUS in my eyes. You need many other people cooperating with you to successfully run the US government. What he needs is an old-fashioned nun equipped with a wooden ruler (or yardstick?) constantly at his side to give him some behaviour modification when needed. As for you people who think Trump is the Second Coming, open your eyes! Yes, he's a stick in the eyes of the left, but we need someone who actually can advance policy - not someone who causes "traffic pileups" at every opportunity. There's GOT to be a better consevative candidate out there!

Donald Trump has been hit with a fresh legal blow after a federal judge rejected his pleas to delay his classified documents until after the election. U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon called the request to postpone by the former president's defense lawyers 'premature', and signalled the trial will start in May. The decision came as Trump tore into a CNN report that Mar-a-Lago staff - including a maid, a plumber and a woodworker- could be called to testify.

The man accused of bludgeoning former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's husband with a hammer was caught up in conspiracies when he broke into her San Francisco home last year, his defense attorney said, as his trial opened on Thursday. David DePape, a former nudist from British Columbia, entered the Pelosi home through a back door in the early hours of October 28, 2022, and attacked Paul Pelosi with a hammer. Nancy was not home at the time. Paul Pelosi, then 82, had called the police, speaking carefully so as not to enrage DePape, who was in the house. Police arrived in time to see DePape smash a hammer into Pelosi's head,
GOP Speaker Mike Johnson: Democrats Should

House GOP legislators will use their clout in the year-end funding fights to push to end Democrat cities’ secession from the nation’s immigration laws, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) told the New York Post. “I’m certain that will be one of our proposals, and it should,” the GOP’s new House leader told the newspaper. The Democrats’ so-called “Sanctuary Cities” create no-go zones for federal immigration laws, including the laws requiring the deportation of illegals. The cities’ secession from federal law also creates havens for illegal migrants, spikes crime against Americans, and also allows employers to cut wages, spike rents, and sideline millions of working Americans.

Viewers may have given Ron DeSantis top marks for his performance during his battle with closest rival Nikki Haley in the Miami showdown on Wednesday. They also declared the Florida Governor the most 'presidential,' most 'competent,' and the 'strongest' of the five candidates who took the stage. But Republicans still believe Trump came out victorious - even though he was holding a rally a 30-minute drive away.

When Illinois lawmakers brag about having a “welcoming state,” they might want to talk to parents like Susie Redfern. In 2019, the Chicago Tribune profiled her and her son Nick as symptomatic of a dysfunctional system failing to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities. But rather than fixing that crisis, the Illinois Legislature created a new one, establishing health care programs for illegal immigrants that have exploded in costs, even as some of the state’s most vulnerable citizens lack access to needed care.
