The FBI secretly investigated Joe Biden in 2007 over his membership in a private Delaware golf club after the owner waived the $34,000 joining fee for him, a shocking new report revealed on Thursday. Biden joined Fieldstone Golf Club in Wilmington, Delaware, in 2001 and remains a member to this day, even playing golf there as president.
(snip) Ultimately the secret probe - it's unclear if Biden even knew about it - did not result in allegations of wrongdoing but the story shows the discrepancy between Biden's self-portrayed image as a man of the middle-class and the senator who courted powerful local families like the DuPonts.

Life-long politicians whose only skill is grift is the best argument for term limits. Joe is a prime example of what we don't need more of.

I used to see that crooked Jack Murtha playing at the Army- Navy Country Club in Virginia where the initiation fee is over $50k. I’m sure he never paid it.

If Trump had been given a complimentary soda there would be an investigation and trial going on.

Just when we think the Biden family can’t be anymore sleazy up crops another story …. It’s endless. I will make a small wager that Joe doesn’t pay any monthly fees, either.

I wonder if Biden will get the Weisselberg treatment?
Former Trump Organization Chief Financial Officer Allen Weisselberg was sentenced to five months in jail. In Manhattan, you have to play by the rules no matter who you are or who you work for,” DA Alvin Bragg said.
Weisselberg “used his high-level position to secure lavish work perks such as a rent-free luxury Manhattan apartment, multiple Mercedes Benz automobiles and private school tuition for his grandchildren — all without paying required taxes,” Bragg said.

When you and I commit a crime, law enforcement can earn a decent salary playing a role in holding us accountable. When those in positions of power commit crimes, law enforcement can make a decent living holding them accountable while perhaps risking the abuse of that power to their detriment. And they can make an absolute killing by not holding the powerful accountable. What outcome would you expect. Blackmail and extortion are the currency in the halls of government.

Meanwhile they prosecute or fire cops who receive a free meal. We have truly built a Banana Republic that believes, "if you have the might you have the right."

What? Dupont country club not chic enough? Wilmington country club where the BMW championship was played not good enough? Actually, the Wilmington country club would be closer for Biteme, it's right around the corner from his home.

What a fool...only goes to prove...these episodes of graft go back way before his stumbling and fumbling episode...in other words ...he's a sneaky entitled politician who thinks the world is there for his benefit.....time for term limits...perhaps a Constitutional convention so WE the people can speak....

How many political “favors” is a “waiver” of $34,000 to a corrupt DC politician worth in Delaware?

I am half past you-know-what with a Trump "whataboutism" popping up every time any other president is mentioned. I wish America could actually appreciate Donald Trump.

#8 beat me to it, but the other question - Has Joe been paying the monthly payments generally due a private country club (whether you play or not)?
Let's see those payments Joey baby!

His personal corruption started in law school at Syracuse University in 1966 where he plagiarized in one of his law classes. He then went on later to plagiarize again when he lifted the text of a British politician in one of his speeches. The man's dishonest history goes back to when he was in his early 20's. He is now 80+ and one of the greatest disappointments in the history of the American presidency. What a shame on America! The man is without any moral compass whatever!

I don't believe it.
The part about him playing golf. that is.
He hasn't the motor skills.
At best Hunter or one of his brothers drive him around in the golf cart while he solicits bribes from the fat cats.
