A strong cold snap is currently spreading across the US - bringing with it potential record lows for much of the country.
Already felt in places like Denver, the abnormal chill will affect wide swathes of the Midwest, South, and East, forecasts show - including almost all the Lower 48 states.
The single exception, meteorologists say, will be the Sunshine State - which, true to its name, is set to stay in the 70s and 80s.Elsewhere, in places like North Texas, temperatures are poised to drop like a rock

Now we will begin to see the effect of cold weather on the illegals, most of whom are from warmer parts of the world, and the effect of half frozen illegals on their particular city of residence. It could get ugly.

I'm glad I live in Florida. We're supposed to be in the 80's for Halloween, mid-60's Wednesday and then back to 70's and 80's by the weekend. I grew up in the snow zone and spent most of my adult life there. I'll happily take the sunshine and warm weather.

Yeah. And I turn on the Boob Tube this morning, and all I hear about is the record highs that occurred yesterday along the east coast. It's not so much that those temperatures didn't happen as the lack of any mention of a pretty historic cold snap already underway. They're not called the enemedia for nothing!

I'm not worried about the freezing cold and the blizzards - - my solar panels are all hooked up - - and ready to go!

Only the DMUK could make this big of a deal out of the annual onset of Winter. Yes, the illegal alien invaders will have one more reason to complain about their treatment by the citizens of the country that they just entered with their hands out.

I'm with #2. We have FOG this morning, that's it! Going to be 80 with a low in the 40's here in Central Florida! I can live with that. Time to shut off the Air and open the Windows! Having lived in the Midwest most of my life, I miss having my windows open. I have neighbors who never open them, year around! Can't do that! I'm always first to open up!!

It's a cold and gloomy 58 degrees in my neck of the VA woods. I ate my lunch on the park benches near my job. Today I'll be in my office enjoying some nice hot chili. I love this time of year.

I had four grand nieces and nephews in for a visit, and we went Trick or Treating this evening. 24F, but no wind, so not so bad. Kids got lots of candy, finally tired of walking....but mostly actually running....and retired home and traded their loot.
Now all are in bed, heading on west towards Colorado in the AM. It was the best Halloween for us in years.
Four kids are a handful, but great, too. And Mama (niece) announced a couple of days ago that number five is on the way. GREAT news!
