Many of the criminals who Democratic Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear released under executive commutation during the COVID-19 pandemic went on to commit new crimes, a report from the state’s government showed.
The report examined the criminal records of the approximately 1,700 criminals that Beshear had released in April and August of 2020 to reduce the prison population during the pandemic. Of those released, roughly 70% went on to commit crimes, with 50% committing felonies within less than a year of their release.

Bill Gates probably thought he was just gonna make an easy profit here … nope.
Ranked as Forbes’ No. 7-richest person in the world, Bill Gates has been losing a crapload of money ever since he decided to place a massive investment into Anheuser-Busch, according to financial news site Benzinga.
During 2023’s fiscal second quarter, Gates bought more than 1.7 million shares of Anheuser-Busch InBev, the makers of scandal-ridden beers Bud Light and Budweiser. But apparently not even the overlord himself can save the tainted company, as they continue to spiral down the toilet

The day after Hamas’ onslaught against Israel, Pope Francis intoned: “Every war is a defeat.” A preemptive protest against retaliation, it contradicted centuries of the Catholic Church’s understanding of a just response to aggression. The ancient command to will good to all men does not mean leaving some of them loose to do evil to others.
Careful not to name Hamas, Francis begged that “the armed attacks stop.” His use of the plural “attacks” placed terrorists and Israelis on the same moral plane. It avoided distinction between a war of extermination against Jews and Israel’s defensive action against genocidal barbarians. Francis broadened lament to conflicts everywhere (especially in “beloved Ukraine”),

A federal judge ruled Saturday that Colorado can’t exclude a Christian school from the state’s universal preschool program based on its religious beliefs.
Darren Patterson Christian Academy filed a lawsuit in June after state officials said participation in the universal preschool program required hiring employees who are not Christians and changing a school policy requiring the use of bathrooms and pronouns that correspond with biological sex. U.S. District Judge Daniel Domenico issued a preliminary injunction Saturday blocking the state from excluding the school from the program,

A captured Hamas terrorist told Israeli interrogators the terrorists were promised $10,000 and an apartment for taking hostages, The Jerusalem Post reported Monday.
“[W]hoever brings a hostage back [to Gaza] gets $10,000 and an apartment,” one captured Hamas fighter who stormed Israel on Oct. 7 told his interrogators, the outlet reported. Israeli intelligence announced their interrogations resulted in a number of similar themes. While Hamas commanders remained in Gaza, all Hamas agents who breached Israel’s borders Oct. 7 were given instructions to kill and kidnap Israelis, The Jerusalem Post reported.
When it came to killing Israelis, the agents were reportedly told not to distinguish between civilians and soldiers.

Coca-Cola has quietly scrubbed references to their support for the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement from their website, according to Republican Texas Sen. Ted Cruz.
The updates to the website come amid backlash over the Black Lives Matter Chicago chapter’s support of Hamas terrorists on social media. The company was also publicly slammed by Cruz on his podcast last week over their financial support of the left-wing movement. Cruz took to Twitter to call out Coca-Cola for apparently stealth-editing the references to the organization from their webpage. Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT) said that former President Donald J. Trump has been a transformational figure who in his opinion “represents a failure” of character that has brought immense damage upon America.
The failed presidential candidate and his wife Ann Romney appeared on Sunday morning television in advance of the release of the new book on the trials and tribulations of the retiring senator during his time in Washington, D.C. where he has waged war against Trump, joining with Democrats on two failed impeachments.

Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., transferred $75,000 from his campaign's coffers to his wife and stepson's nonprofit during the third quarter, Fox News Digital has found.
The money from the senator's campaign went to the Sanders Institute on Aug. 8, according to its recently released Federal Election Commission filings. The cash follows the $200,000 that the committee sent to the nonprofit earlier this year.
The institute was established by Sanders' wife, Jane, and his stepson, David Driscoll, six years ago as a think tank to elevate progressive mouthpieces. However, the group has appeared to perform very little work while paying Driscoll six figures worth of compensation.

More than a quarter of all ISIS brides returned to Sweden from the Al-Hol camp in Syria are now working with young children in the Swedish education sector, an investigation by the Expressen newspaper has revealed.
Of the 81 women confirmed to have fled Sweden to join the Islamic State at the peak of its power and subsequently repatriated, 21 were found to now be employed in Swedish schools, kindergartens, and asylum centers for kids.
The bombshell report evoked a strong reaction from government ministers who questioned how radicalized individuals who were willing to join a terrorist organization had been permitted to work with young people upon their return to the country.

The Education Ministry has said it will remove any reference to climate activist Greta Thunberg after she published a post over the weekend holding an anti-Israel sign reading "stand with Gaza."
"Hamas is a terrorist organization responsible for the murder of 1,400 innocent Israelis, including children, women, and the elderly, and it has abducted over 200 people to Gaza," the ministry said. "This stance disqualifies her from being an educational and moral role model, and she is no longer eligible to serve as an inspiration and educator for Israeli students."

The Jewish Federation of Detroit on Saturday night said there was no indication that the murder of a president of a local synagogue was motivated by antisemitism.
Samantha Woll, President of the board of the Isaac Agree Downtown Synagogue, was found dead outside her home early Saturday.
According to CNN, Woll had multiple stab wounds on her body. Officers were called about a person lying on the ground unresponsive and when they arrived at the scene, they found a “trail of blood” leading them to Woll’s home, according to a statement from the Detroit Police Department.

Israeli forces released footage of the "Iron Sting" system launching a mortar bomb to take out a rocket launcher in its first-ever use in an operation on Sunday.
(snip) The Israeli army used the weapons system in conjunction with the Israeli Air Force.
The weapons system uses a "precise, laser and GPS guided mortar munition" to engage targets in dense, urban environments while "reducing the possibility of collateral damage and preventing injury to non-combatants," Elbit Systems, which developed the system, said in a 2021 news release.
