Representative James Comer (R-KY) said Monday on Fox Business Channel’s “Kudlow” that he was “ashamed” that House Republicans have not elected a speaker after Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) was removed from the position three weeks ago.
Anchor Larry Kudlow said, “I need a Republican speaker of the House, Mr. Chairman so you can go back to work and everyone else can go back to work. What’s happening?”
Comer said, “We’ve wasted three weeks. And, you know, this was a dumb move by those eight members of Congress. Many of them are on my committee. I like, you know, at least six of the eight.

Once again, the Republican circular firing squad convenes. Even the Three Stooges were smarter than this

I still say we are better off with nobody than with a uniparty hack. Go back to work? Doing what? Spending money our grandchildren havent earned yet? Erasing freedoms we have enjoyed for 250 years? Holding out your hands for more bribes from the "donors"? Or maybe just doing Epstein related entertainment?
Stay shut down if you're not willing to elect a good American.

At this point, I'm tempted to say, "New Party", Ditch the Republicans, just like we ditched the Whigs, so long ago.
Bull Moose Party or Patriot Party - back Trump regardless of his party.

If you place your loyalty to ANY political party above your loyalty to the Constitution and to We The People, you are NOT an American! I don’t care if you were born under the Liberty Bell on the Fourth of July; YOU ARE NOT AN AMERICAN! You are an enemy of freedom and that makes you MY enemy. Not just my political enemy; you are my mortal enemy. If you disagree, ESAD and GFU.

Comer needs to "Call Out" the treasonous 25 for having been bought by the Democrat Donor Sam Bankman-Fried. Every single one has taken the maximum amount allowed from this evil person...proving how TREASONOUS they are.

Weeks are nothing. Republicans have wasted three years and aided the Democrats destruction of the country.

As long as they're paralyzed, nothing gets passed. The less legislation they pass, the less we the people are screwed. Works for me.

For three weeks the republican traitor pukes in the House have been unable to authorize spending a single new dollar for the Obama/Biden communist regime to use to further the complete destruction of our country. Sounds like a winning scenario to me.
What are the republicans in congress strongest trait? Betraying their voters and our Republic.
Congress should meet only twice a year for two week periods and only get paid by the hour during those two week stretches. No more full time salary. Enough of this full time career in the Senate and House for these evil, traitorous, thieving scum Communist Death Democrats and Communist Death Republicans.

Then maybe McCarthy should have done his job, fulfilled his promises, actually worked for the people of the United States instead of taking care of McCarthy. He earn getting tossed out. Yes, they've wasted three weeks, but they didn't mind wasting three weeks in August, they didn't mind wasting BILLIONS on Ukraine and various programs that have resulted in utter chaos in this nation. Talk to the hand. Fish or cut bait.

I like Comer, but come on. If you guys were serious you would not take the summer off and various weeks every now and then. You’d be at your desks working hard. We are in a financial crisis, looking down the barrel at WWIII, the border is wide open and you guys take off? Not acceptable. Work until the work is done. That will impress the American people.

Not knowing truly why (I mean, they are all politicians and I don't trust any of them) Matt Gaetz felt compelled to unseat Kevin McCarthy, I cannot intelligently speculate as to what is really going on up there. But I can tell you this, the American people lose, no matter what. "It is a big club and we ain't in it."

Notice he chastises the 8, calling them dumb. But not the 20 that refused to vote for Jim Jordan. My expectations for Comer were set pretty low before but he lowered them further - if that's possible.

Everyone here is upset, and for good reason. However, you're gonna be a lot more upset next primary season when many of the same traitorous, maggot rinos get back on the ballot for the general election! I'll only believe otherwise when I see it.

Republicans have wasted the win of the House majority, not just 3 weeks. BTW Comer, telling us for the thousandth time that Biden is a crook is not getting us anywhere. We've gotten it. Republicans never do anything, and will never be able to do anything, until all Rino's are purged from the party, which will never happen. We are weeks from Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's. Then, there are primaries, spring break, summer break, and the general election. The Republicans are not going to do anything in the House, except continue to pass omnibus, and supplemental spending bills that no one has read. As for the Senate, it is ran by Schumer, and nothing but ruin can be expected from there.

All these comments talking big about not spending, etc... yet the government has been operating on CR's since fiscal year 2007, which was the result of Harry Reid installing this tool so his Democrat colleagues would not have a tough vote on spending items.
The current Congress was trying to return to General Order, but they were not able to get the 13 appropriations bills passed in time, and needed to enact another 45 day CR to keep the government operating (and not be bashed for shutting down the government next fall).
That 45 day CR is what made Matt Geatz and his followers remove McCarthy (without a plan in place), stop any of the investigations and waste a lot of time.
I'll bet they end up with another CR that takes it through Sept 30 2024 when they do get back to business. After all, it's an election year which means little else will be done in 2024.

I APPLAUDE three weeks when the government did NOT take away any of my existing freedoms and didn't MANDATE any new insane things that I must do.
Please, carry on with the Congressional paralysis. It is good for ordinary Americans.
The only thing Congress does is to increase our taxes, take away freedoms and mandate that we must do things we don't want to do.

Lets not pretend. The GOP has absolutely no intention of being America first. They ALL hate MAGA. They all HATE you. The only constant out of this fake party is disappointment, empty promises, bankruptcy and lost foreign wars and on and on and on. We need our own party.

Maybe the few conservatives in the house should just roll over and let the GOPe have their way? Notice the GOPe didn't want Jordan 3rd in line for the presidency.

Rep. Comer, would the imminent financial accident that Jamie Dimon CEO of JP Morgan refers to be urgent enough to get you pubbies and a few dimwit dims off the dime to elect a speaker? On the other hand, no House may be a very good House.
