Jeff Landry’s Shock Victory ‘Spells
Catastrophe for Democrats on the National Level’

The surprise victory in Louisiana’s open gubernatorial primary for Governor-Elect Jeff Landry (R-LA) on Saturday is an encouraging sign for Republicans heading into the 2024 elections, GOP insiders tell Breitbart News. Landry, who is currently the Bayou State’s attorney general and had the endorsement of former President Donald Trump, won the open primary with a nearly 52 percent majority on Saturday night. In other words, he won the governorship outright without having to face another rival in a November runoff. The Times-Picayune/New Orleans Advocate reports a significant factor in Landry’s victory was a low turnout, the likes of which had not been seen in a decade,

The only reason he won is the cheating Dems were caught off guard because the didn't think the primary mattered thinking no one would get over 50% of the vote. They were saving their money to spend it for cheating on the election they thought would matter.

Those of us in Louisiana are pretty conservative (outside of New Orleans). A few years ago we got sick of corrupt officials and responded by electing Bobby Jindal. We now have two R senators, but one is really a democrat and had to switch over to get elected. We suspect Dominion machines assisted the current D governor in a close election. We were proud of Landry's national efforts as AG. I once saw a young man trying to burn an American flag on the campus of LSU once, and he got pummeled by water balloons. The man had to be rescued by an officer on horseback. We have lots of hunters and Bubbas and Cajuns, so don't consider Louisiana to be the norm for the rest of the nation. #6 is also correct. Our jungle primary is quite the zoo, and there were many throwing their hat in the race for governor.

I'm guessing the Democrat election fraud mill in Louisiana was planning to put all their effort into the November election and didn't think they needed to waste any effort on the primary. After Landry won a majority of votes in the primary, there will not be a runoff election in November.

The Democrats shot themselves in the arse when they changed to a “jungle” primary. Their assumption was that democrats would come in in first and second place, eliminating any chance of a Republican being elected governor. Surprise, surprise, surprise, it did not go according to plan. The voters elected a governor in the primary. I hope the new governor manages to drain the Louisiana political swamp.

As the war launched by brutal Hamas terrorists on Israel rages on, the violence is spreading—including to London, where anti-Semitic crimes exploded like a Hamas rocket hitting a Gaza hospital. Turns out Western countries were importing the next potential Holocaust through policies welcoming hundreds of thousands or even millions of violent Muslim men. Since the beginning of October, anti-Semitic crimes have shot up a stunning 1,350% in London, Breitbart reported on Oct. 21. The statistics were released before a large pro-Palestinian London protest. Unfortunately, the London police were only able to make 21 arrests. That is less than seven percent of cases where an arrest was made! How many

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday thanked U.S. President Joe Biden for the prospect of a new multi-billion dollar aid package from Washington. Biden, in a rare address from the Oval Office on Thursday night, said he would be asking Congress for a new round of funding for Ukraine as part of a larger request that also includes aid to Israel. U.S. media reported that Biden would ask for 100 billion U.S. dollars in total, about 60 billion U.S. dollars of which was designated for Ukraine. The White House said details on the proposal would be made public on Friday – but whether it can get through the deeply dysfunctional U.S. Congress

Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) declared that Biden’s $100B aid package for Ukraine, Israel, and domestic security is dead on arrival in the Senate. Cotton calls it a slush fund and he’s not wrong. The largest disbursement would go to Ukraine. The aid package includes $60B for Ukraine, $14B for Israel, and $14B for the southern border. There is $7.4B for Taiwan and allies in the Indo-Pacific, and $10B for humanitarian aid in Ukraine, Israel, and Gaza. As you see, the amount allocated to Ukraine is disproportionally larger than anything else. The senator called out the $11.8B for Ukraine, for example, that is included for Ukraine’s “non-war spending”

The federal judge overseeing Donald Trump’s 2020 election interference case in Washington agreed Friday to temporarily lift her narrow gag order. The ruling gives Trump’s lawyers time to prove why the former president’s comments should not be restricted as the case heads toward trial. U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan said the gag order would remain on hold — for now — while she considers Trump’s bid to speak freely about the case as he challenges the restrictions in higher courts. The gag order Chutkan issued Monday barred him from making public statements targeting prosecutors, court staff and potential witnesses. It’s the most serious restriction a court has placed on Trump’s inflammatory rhetoric,

Today we know epilepsy is a disease. By and large, it’s accepted that a person who causes a fatal traffic accident while in the grip of a seizure should not be charged with murder. That’s good, says Stanford University neurobiologist Robert Sapolsky. That’s progress. But there’s still a long way to go.
