The U.S. Senate, once known as the “world’s greatest deliberative body,” will now permit its members to grace its chamber floor wearing whatever clothes—no matter how casual or unprofessional—they happen to fancy on any given day.
Following Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s, D-N.Y., decision earlier this week to have the sergeant-at-arms cease enforcing the Senate’s long-standing dress code, senators might be forgiven for trading in their traditional Brooks Brothers wares for that most chic of modern haberdashers: the local homeless shelter.
There is one reason and one reason only for Schumer’s distasteful change in policy: The brain-damaged and cartoon-villain-resembling junior Democratic senator from Pennsylvania, John Fetterman,

Someone said that Fetterman is the Schumer's equivalent to Caligula's horse for the Senate. It makes sense and says much about the state of our government..

I don't know if it would hurt or help, but the Republicans could show their contempt for this situation by having a "dress like you're going to Walmart" day, or just come in their best jammies/lounge wear (complete with curlers in whatever hair they have).

Fetterman is doing for dignity what many churches have done to worship — bring it down to the mundane and the desacralized. Without higher standards, everything crumbles and becomes ordinary. Worse, they become boring. Whatever happened to dignity? Whatever happened to some things being more elevated than others? Are we all doomed to live in mediocrity. Are we there yet?

This is simply further manifesting the "Coalition of the Fringes". Society's outcasts, those who could never achieve on their own, are granted acceptance and even honor by the leftists. This assures their complete devotion to the left, to the ones granting them honor they could never otherwise obtain.
This is the foundation of "biological Leninism", the bonding of the extremes into a reliable support base. They will NEVER leave the Party.
Schumer has welded Fetterlump's permanent votes for anything the Dems ever want to do. He will NEVER vote against anything Schumer asks. Never.

#1,
And people also need to be reminded that Fetterman is not his name but rather the name of the doctor who created him.

Every Republican Senator should call Chuck's bluff and show up wearing their sweatiest gym clothes, T-shirts and shorts that haven't been laundered in weeks, PJs etc. It'd be interesting to see how that would go over; I bet we'd find out that this new Schumer rule will not be applicable to all Senators.

Vote fraud has to the reason this guy got elected. Half of the voters in Pennsylvania can't be that stupid. Well, maybe they can.

Instead of mimicking the Fetterdork and his slovenly attire I would like to see the Republican men of the senate show up in tuxedos and the women senators in formal dresses. C'mon Upchuck Schumer, try that on for size!

I have two nephews who are eacj 6'8" so forget about that as an excuse for not being able to be dressed by others. My guys are both police officers who trained years on their high school and college sports teams. There is no real excuse, unless some Democrat apologist needs one to fall back on.
