It was horrible enough that retired police chief Andreas Probst, 64, was hit and killed while riding his bike in Las Vegas. But it got so much worse when a video came out about how he was killed, that he was run down intentionally by teens in a car, who giggled with one even saying "Hit his ass." You can see that graphic video here. After allegedly hitting Probst, they fled and left him lying there to die. The video was shocking and it went viral on social media because of the laughter, the seemingly deliberate nature of the act, and the filming of it.

One mother understands the gravity and reality of the murder - wondering if even God can forgive him. The other apparently thinks there exists some excuse for her son's behavior. The latter is utterly clueless and fails to see that maybe SHE bears some responsibility. I'd suspect neither young man had a full-time father at home.

The new generation of criminal is significantly more feral and evil than the old timers, who might have had some semblance of an upbringing. The soulless youthful gangsters who are growing up with no supervision (other than gangs), incarcerated for the worst crimes of all, actually terrify the older inmates, who mostly wanted only money. Youthful evil, its main purpose entertainment rather than enrichment, is monstrous.

The enemy of humanity has been at war with us for many, many years. They are quite easy to identify, as they wear a permanent, immutable uniform which they cannot remove. We have two choices, and ONLY two choices: destroy them or cease to exist ourselves. That is all.

I would bet money that these two hoodlums had no father in their home and were never given any religious training. Doubt they ever went to Sunday School. You learn to respect authority through a father figure and you learn to respect human life when you go to church a regular basis. Sounds simple and unsophisticated, but fathers and attending church matters.

Guns or no guns, killers gonna kill. It's one thing to use a firearm to take a life but this seems so much more horrendous and cold. Side story. From Wikipedia: Probst was chief of police in Bell CA in the late 2000's, when the scandal blew up over the city manager and other officials voting themselves ridiculous salaries with double-digit annual raises that pushed into 7 figures. The investigation included 4 police chiefs during that period, including Probst, who had received a workers' comp settlement in violation of tax codes but wasn't charged with any wrongdoing.

Twenty-five years ago, California enacted Proposition 10, one of the most aggressive anti-smoking campaigns in the country, referring to tobacco, not marijuana. Called the First Five program, it sharply increased taxes on cigarettes and directed much of the proceeds to a variety of programs and new agencies aimed at helping young families who are raising children. These included things such as preschools, pediatric healthcare, and literacy projects. It has been widely considered a success. But there is a growing problem with this project. It’s apparently been too successful.

The White House will announce this week that it is creating an office of gun violence prevention to focus on efforts to curb gun violence, two sources familiar confirmed to The Hill. Gun violence prevention advocates and Democratic lawmakers have been pushing the White House to establish a designated office solely focused on gun violence. Sen. Remember all those fights about removing historical statues? Of course you do, since the battles continue to this day. The issue flares up every once in a while, particularly when Democrats want to get their voters fired up against the evil American system of government, which is almost always. Advertisement One big battle took place during the Trump administration, and Trump dismissed the (largely successful) movement to remove statues and building names that glorified members of the Confederacy. Trump had a simple argument: wiping away these statues and references to the Confederacy had nothing to do with confronting America’s racist past, and everything to do with wiping away American history as a whole.
