Former President Donald Trump is planning a candlelight dinner fundraiser with his sons at his Florida Mar-a-Lago club this fall to help pay the legal bills of those ensnared in the four separate criminal cases he faces, sources familiar with the effort tell The Messenger.(Snip)Until this summer, Save America had covered nearly all the legal expenses of Trump and his various employees,(Snip)“Save America wasn’t really designed as a legal defense fund,(Snip)“The fact is that the Department of Justice is trying to bankrupt people and make them drown under legal bills, but Donald Trump is not going to let them.”

"The committee spent at least $22 million on legal expenses in the first six months of the year,"
On one hand I wonder how much of that is legitimate and how much is lawyers padding their bils.
On the other hand, if it costs hundreds of millions to save the Repubic from the tyranny of the Democrat progressive communists, it is money well spent.

Is there a way for people, who will not be attending the event, to donate to this fund?

I don’t know about the rest of them but Harrison Floyd, the one black defendant who was/is in jail because he couldn’t make bail, has a Givesendgo account. I’ve already donated to it. Just go to the website and type his name in the search bar.

#2,#3~ At this point, a means of donating via the Mar-a-Lago event may not have been established for the general public; however, there are existing funds for two of the individuals in the Fulton County, Georgia indictment.
Harrison Floyd was the director of the “Black Voices for Trump” and is a disabled Marine depending on his military pension to support his family. He was unable to hire a lawyer so represented himself facing the Fani Willis indictment. Initially, there was no bond set for Mr. Floyd so he spent time in the insect and bed bug-infested Fulton County Jail. Eventually, bond was set at $100,000 because Fani Willis considered Mr. Floyd a flight risk; Mr. Floyd could not meet the bond; thankfully, Trump supporters have his back, legal counsel came forward to defend him, and a GiveSendGo account was established to help him with legal fees.
Pastor Stephen G. Lee, a retired pastor in his 70s, had a $75,000 bond but could not meet the $7,500 bail so purchased a one-way ticket to Georgia anticipating being incarcerated in the Fulton County, Georgia jail. Pastor Lee was blessed when his attorney participated in a podcast with Silk (Diamond, now deceased, and Silk) and mentioned that Pastor Lee could not meet the bail. Listeners began donating toward the $7,500 needed but fell short and Herneitha Richardson (Silk) generously donated $3,500 to meet the $7,500 needed to keep Pastor Lee from being imprisoned. Pastor Lee is a former police chaplain and ministered to the Columbine school shooting, September 11 attacks, Hurricane Katrina, the 2017 mass shooting in Las Vegas, and several natural disasters. The Illinois Family Institute considers Pastor Lee “America’s Chaplain” and established a “Pastor Lee Legal Defense Fund” at their website. This household plans to send its donation directly to Pastor Lee in care of the church where he is serving as an interim pastor (Living Word Lutheran Church in Orland Park, Illinois).

There is a defense fund for Rudy Guiliani. I hope they get the donations to help against the corrupt government rogues who are trying to bankrupt them out of existence. Biden and the left will use lawyers paid for by taxpayers.

Lest anyone forget, President Trump needs a legal defense fund as well as others indicted with him. While his personal assets quite likely exceed the holdings of others indicted, if there is any credence to the DOJ “wanting to bankrupt people and drown them in legal expenses” it seems American citizens might consider it a patriotic gesture to respond financially to whatever extent finances will permit as a means of expressing a united front against forces that are undermining the foundational principles of this once powerful, moral, courageous God-fearing country.
Abraham Lincoln: “Our safety, our liberty, depends upon preserving the Constitution of the United States as our fathers made it inviolate. The people of the United States are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution.”
