#7: and cleaner! Sorry, couldn't resist. This story is amusing. I hope old Vivek enjoys his 15 minutes. I liked his verbal sparring with Nikki Haley, Indian-on-Indian action. And Slim Shady oughta be happy anyone still remembers his "music". I personally prefer my own symphony after ingesting some broccoli and beans, much like the boys around the campfire in 'Blazing Saddles'. "I'd say you boys have had ENOUGH!"

#2, regardless, the polite and courteous thing to do would have been to ask permission before using it. It shows respect for other people's property or artistry. That seems to be getting lost along the way.

9, he licensed it from BMI. Then Mathers whined for some PR and had them pull the license. License means they had a contract and were paying real money to use it until the whining.

Sorry, “artists,” but when you sell the rights to your “music,” you no longer get to make demands on how it’s used. I owned a business that was strong armed into paying BMI and ASCAP fees, and they weren’t cheap. If we pay, we have the right to use your music. But, virtue signaling noted. Thanks.

Federal revenue dropped $416 billion compared to this time last year, according to recently released U.S. Treasury Department data, despite the Democrats’ passage of their $780 billion Inflation Reduction Act last year. The legislation, which President Biden signed in August 2022, contained a 15% minimum corporate income tax, which still hasn't been fully implemented by the IRS. Experts at the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget and the Tax Foundation told Just the News that most of the revenue raising provisions in the IRA have not taken effect yet but they likely won't raise much revenue given the price-tag of the energy-related tax credits in the bill.
