I would like to introduce you to Dr. Kimberley R. Miner, a Climate Scientist at the NASA Jet Propulsion Lab in Pasadena, California, and a Climate Change Institute Research Assistant Professor. (snip) She tries to evoke sympathy with her opening, in which she cries after a group meeting. (snip) That response should be embarrassing. (snip) It gets worse. Miner is bringing this type of fear-based climate analysis to our children. In this video, she responds to a question from a child by explaining the Black Death “virus” is going to escape from the permafrost because of global warming.

A majority of priests of the Church of England want the church to offer same-sex weddings and allow premarital and gay sex, according to a major survey.
The survey, conducted by the Times, found most Anglican priests think church teaching should be brought into line with public opinion on moral issues.
Most priests support a change to allow gay couples to get married in church, with 53.4 percent in favor and 36.5 percent opposed, revealed the survey, which assessed responses from 1,200 active Anglican priests.
The Church of England currently allows blessings for gay couples but only permits church weddings between a man and a woman.

Denver will hand over nearly $5 million to protesters who participated in 2020 demonstrations after the death of George Floyd after settling a class-action lawsuit on Aug. 23 that alleged they were selectively targeted for violating curfew, according to the court document.
The lawsuit, filed in November 2021 by seven protesters, alleged that more than 300 people were arrested for violating the curfew. The settlement awarded over $4.7 million to the protesters and promised that the city would not enforce future curfews against persons engaging in First Amendment activity.

Federal revenue dropped $416 billion compared to this time last year, according to recently released U.S. Treasury Department data, despite the Democrats’ passage of their $780 billion Inflation Reduction Act last year.
The legislation, which President Biden signed in August 2022, contained a 15% minimum corporate income tax, which still hasn't been fully implemented by the IRS.
Experts at the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget and the Tax Foundation told Just the News that most of the revenue raising provisions in the IRA have not taken effect yet but they likely won't raise much revenue given the price-tag of the energy-related tax credits in the bill.

The Associated Press, the country's top wire service, is now bankrolled in part by millions of dollars from left-wing foundations, including one founded by "1619 Project" author Nikole Hannah-Jones.
The news organization last year announced a series of "partnerships" to subsidize reporters covering climate change, race, and democracy. A review of the donor roster shows that the vast majority fund left-wing political causes, while none are supporters of conservative initiatives.

A coalition of 1,609 scientists from around the world have signed a declaration stating “there is no climate emergency” and that they “strongly oppose the harmful and unrealistic net-zero CO2 policy” being pushed across the globe. The declaration does not deny the harmful effect of greenhouse gasses, but instead challenges the hysteria brought about by the narrative of imminent doom.
The declaration, put together by the Global Climate Intelligence Group (CLINTEL), was made public this month, urges that “Climate science should be less political, while climate policies should be more scientific.”

Pope Francis has appealed for more changes in Catholic teaching, lamenting the “backwardism” of conservative Catholics in the United States. (snip) During his interview, the pope also insisted that the Church must pay less attention to “sins of the flesh” and more to other sins. (snip) “But what I don’t like at all, in general, is that we look at the so-called ‘sin of the flesh’ with a magnifying glass, just as we have done for so long for the sixth commandment,” he said. “If you exploited workers, if you lied or cheated, it didn’t matter, and instead sins below the waist were relevant.”

A prominent scholar and University of California, Riverside professor, who claimed to be Native American, has resigned after 13 faculty members accused her of false claims of Native identity that violated academic integrity. In an ironic twist, professor Andrea Smith once criticized white feminists for pretending to be Native Americans. She wrote, “They do this by opting to ‘become Indian.’ In this way, they can escape responsibility and accountability for white racism.”
