A final meeting of the Reparations Task Force meeting held by the California Department of Justice descended into chaos as members of the public lined up to have their say and demanded payments be made immediately.
Some of those attending caused a disturbance during the public comment section, demanding reparations from the board.
Several individuals became extremely passionate as they made their views known expressing their desire for reparations, shouting into the microphone that the time for restitution is 'now!'

This is a Pandora’s box that is going to be hard to close! Now that the grifters and ner’do wells have been given a promise to get something for nothing, they will be relentless in their calls for free money as they have nothing to lose!
California has descended into a hole that it will never dig itself out of!

Way to go, Gavin! You reap what you sow.
Dear Sheeple, when your government says vote for us today and get the money tomorrow, when are you going to learn that tomorrow never comes.

Free stuff always brings out the avarice in people. Free stuff is a major thing that is killing America. More free stuff brings us all closer to the grave. We need a national divorce from Gavin’s folly.

The Reparations Task Force is just as stupid as one would guess. Calfornia is broke, darlins, where is the government going to get the money to pay you and keep the lights on at the same time?

Unless the Board, who will be responsible for handing out the Cash, demands each and ever Black person hand in their History from Ancestry, I don't see how they can determine who really should get the Money. They will have Thousands of Black People rushing to CA who claim to be from CA Slaves. How do you prove that? They could actually be Born and Raised up north in Michigan or Chicago or Wisconsin. There is no way the money can be handed out without Proof and I'm betting most of those Folks won't have any! Free Money for all! Way to go Gov. Newsom! You think you have a problem now with the Homeless, wait until Thousands of Young Blacks (who are not interested in getting a job) arrive in your State and DEMAND you PAY UP! Bring out the Popcorn!

FTA: “ 'Don't treat us like no cheap piece of meat! So therefore, our last name's 'American!' So now's the time for a divorce! What do you get in divorce? You get half the money, half the land, alimony, child support, attorney fees, and everything else! So that's what we want!'”
Um, OK. But the other part of a divorce is that the ex-spouse moves OUT.

By all means, let's have that reparations discussion, do the accounting and calculate who owes how much to whom.
Billions flushed down the welfare toilet, our cities destroyed, ghetto culture, the Obama Family Travel and Entertainment Budget 2009/2017, illegitimacy, out of control crime, the Obama / black Democrat-instigated deterioration of race relations...
Do the math, but given the state of urban public education, that probably isn't a realistic expectation.

I'm all in for reparations...as long as it includes repatriation to the African nation/region indicated by your DNA and giving up you US citizenship. This won't happen because the democrats have paid over and over again for the black vote and they don't want to lose that investment.

The attorney says they're standing in the shoes of their ancestors. No they're not. They're stand in the shoes of California, a banana republic. These people easily forget that hundreds of thousands of white people died in a war to free them. These people forget that America wasn't even founded when slavery was rampant in Africa. These people forget that their own people sold them into slavery. They want reparations, get them from the countries in Africa that sold them. Pathetic.

We had a saying in my old squadron: "If it's Free, it's for ME!" As noted, you can't close this Pandora's Box once it's now open...
I recommend everyone listen to a great little novelty song from 1969: Day After Day (It's Slippin' Away)* by a group called Shango. Written by the late great Stuart Margolin, it speaks to the Big One earthquake that will rid us of the craziness of Cali once and for all.
*not to be confused with 1971 Badfinger hit, Day After Day

Sorry for the second post, but #4 is onto something. After Katrina, a Louisiana resident sued the US Army Corps of Engineers for three QUADRILLION dollars, for rebuilding and pain/suffering. I'm not sure what the amount was that finally settled the suit; I'm thinking about $1.280...

They didn't have slavery in California. Blacks are there because they wanted to be there. California has made their bed now and finding out it that somebody already has wet it.

If Diversity is our strength, how come there wasn't any Diversity in one single pic? Would a diverse inclusion improve the the outcome?
