Golden State Turns Bronze: 4 in 10 Californians
Considering Running for the Exits

A new poll by Strategies 360, a consortium of the Los Angeles Times and several non-profits, should concern Gov. Gavin Newsom and the leftist politicians running the Golden State into the ground: four in 10 residents are actively considering leaving California for greener pastures. That’s hardly a surprise considering that homelessness, crime, an anti-business environment, insane woke laws, and sky-high taxes—which create an unattainable cost of living—have all made life in paradise not quite so idyllic as it once was. (Understatement of the year.) Leave it to the hard-left Los Angeles Times, of course, to try to paint a bright picture:

How do you screw up a state almost unsurpassed in the myriad displays of natural beauty? (rhetorical question) Through multi-generational political deception, voter greed, and the delusions of entitlement and that free stuff is actually free. Sure - the wealthy are always able to afford the state while possessing the freedom to escape. Everyone else will have to learn to work AND vote against their own seeming interests. I am not hopeful that voting for the sake of one's descendants not one's own immediate selfish wants will ever take place.

California was a Republican State until Jerry Brown took over. The California legislative branch is controlled by a veto proof group of Marxists. The Republican party in California doesn't exist. Election control (aka 100% mail-in ballots) ensures the total dominance in California by the ultra left.

Just great. Many of the San Fran Sicko's and Lost Angels are ready to disperse into a "safe" community bring their ideology and tents with them. Ain't that special. Need more tax dollars to deal the feces and needles on the sidewalks.

Besides not having enough natural resources to sustain their lifestyle and constant (until now) population growth, California has gone too far in their zeal to pay the lazy not to work and to wring the last dime out of those who do work. Not being able to keep his insane promises to pay off student loans and give millions of dollars to antisocial layabouts because they have the preferred skin color is going to eliminate Newsom from any future political job. A new and better governor may be able to save the state but I think democrats would rather die than admit a mistake.

I think this poll is BS. If 4 in 10 were really unhappy with CA, they could do something at the ballot box to change things, but they don't. And, if they thought there was cheating, they could do something at the local level. Most of those "4" voted for the government they now have in CA and if they left, they would likely vote again for the same kind of polices where they moved to.

History repeating itself. When the voters figure out that they can sell their votes to the highest bidder, things start falling apart. Politicians will sell their souls to obtain and hold onto power.

Several of the military officers whose promotions are held up due to a senator’s fight with the Pentagon have supported left-wing cultural stances and diversity initiatives, according to a Daily Caller News Foundation review of social media posts, Pentagon materials and public footage. Republican Alabama Sen. Tommy Tuberville has single-handedly blocked numerous officers’ confirmations in protest of Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin’s directive that the military fund out-of-state travel for female troops seeking abortions, initiating a game of chicken between Tuberville and the Pentagon that shows no sign of stopping. Yet several of the candidates in line for promotion have a history of making political statements and backed or spearheaded

Former President Donald Trump has been charged with a variety of crimes, including violation of the misnamed Espionage Act. That 1917 statute is misnamed because it covers a great many offenses that don’t involve spying or giving secrets to the enemy. In fact, over the years it has been used extensively against patriotic Americans who have opposed wars and dissented from other government actions. In Trump’s case, he is being accused primarily of unlawful possession of allegedly classified material.

Atlanta— Lawmakers in several Republican-led states have been looking to exert more authority over state and local election offices, claiming new powers that Democrats warn could be used to target left-leaning counties in future elections. The moves range from requiring legislative approval of court settlements in election-related lawsuits to creating paths for taking over local election offices. In North Carolina, a Republican proposal working its way through the General Assembly would change the composition of state and county election boards and give lawmakers sole authority to appoint board members. I can’t be the only one wondering what has happened to us. The denizens of Washington and for that matter, the people who virtually live and breathe politics, are not your average Americans. Average Americans desire to live their lives with minimal government oversight, except when it might benefit them; this is the lamentable nature discussed herein. As for myself, I hope I stay on the outside of the political event horizon. Let me ask: is everyone corruptible? My father, a self-described king of philosophy, once told me the answer is… Yes! Disney could see even more red ink since these titles are all destined for the Disney+ streaming service instead of other streamers, like Netflix or Amazon Prime Video, where they could generate additional revenue. The YouTube box office analyst known as Valliant Renegade laid out his argument in a recent video in which he estimated that many Disney blockbusters actually lost money or barely broke even during their theatrical runs despite the news media spinning them as hits.
