The Walt Disney Co. is estimated to have lost a stunning $890 million on its last eight studio releases, including The Little Mermaid and Elemental, according to a box office analyst.
Disney could see even more red ink since these titles are all destined for the Disney+ streaming service instead of other streamers, like Netflix or Amazon Prime Video, where they could generate additional revenue. The YouTube box office analyst known as Valliant Renegade laid out his argument in a recent video in which he estimated that many Disney blockbusters actually lost money or barely broke even during their theatrical runs despite the news media spinning them as hits.

We grew up with Disney & we loved Disney.
But Disney betrayed US for the alphabet people.
Now we will destroy Disney in order to save our cherished memories.
And it won't cost US any $$$.

Instead of providing entertainment, they have chosen to pander to small subsets of humanity. Most businesses want their product to appeal to a broad range of consumers.

Disney could laugh at a loss of $890b at the box-office if that was the entire impact. But there will later effects,
Many of the people who skipped the movies also decided to skip trips to the Disney theme parks.
And others no doubt decided to skip Disney movies not yet made. And others will now drop Disney channels and streaming. And retailers will sell fewer apparel, toys, and items with Disney symbols.
How bad will it hurt? Who knows?

My family has visited Anaheim Disneyland for the last time. We don't think sexual grooming of children by the Disney company is a good idea.

Not great news but a needed thing considering their choices, no different than the choices and repercussions of a drug addict. Lots of good Americans rely in Disney for their paycheck and I feel for them. THIS is an American company. And Walt and his brother Roy were GREAT Americans who loved this country.
The top management are California libs who don't give a crap about selling good entertainment and making their customer happy. They have ejected everyone that actually had talent and cared about entertaining the public. I weep for the company Walt made. I hope sanity will return.

One of the world's most evil corporations, Disney needs to go bankrupt.

I was looking forward to the new Indiana Jones movie, but since Disney has their hands on it, it has pushed Indy aside in favor of a strong female Mary Sue. I'll skip it. Disney has ruined the MCU, Star Wars, Pixar and Indiana Jones.

Yay! Hot tip - if you own Disney stock, dump it while you still can. Also cancel any cable Disney products.

Feet don't fail me now! I'm voting with my feet on anything produced by Groomers-R-Us. Line from Madam Butterfly, ''Farewell, O Happy Home'' -- of great cartooning and ''fairy tales brought to life.''

That's too bad. The Disney commercials you see advertising discounts on theme park tickets and cruises are a sure indicator that attendance is way down in those venues as well as the movie theaters. You might even be able to get a burger and coke for under $20 if you do decide to take the kids to Pedoland this Summer. If things get really bad they might have to lay off Goofy.

The in your face grooming by Disney is much too much to keep turning a blind eye to the rampage of the very few controlling that brainwashing factory.

Years ago, I concluded that Disney entertainment was going in the toilet and bought DVDs of many of the Disney productions I loved as a child - The Scarecrow of Romney Marsh, Thomasina, The Parent Trap, Fantasia. I recently scored a used DVD of Lady and the Tramp at a used book sale.
