A man who tried to carjack undercover police officers in Kentucky's largest city was fatally shot by a Louisville Metro Police officer, authorities said.
The shooting happened Monday afternoon as two undercover officers were inside a vehicle and trying to catch a suspect in an unrelated investigation when they were approached by a man in his 20s armed with a gun who attempted to carjack them, Interim Police Chief Jackie Gwinn-Villaroel told news outlets.
One of the officers shot the man with his service weapon and both officers provided medical aid, Gwinn-Villaroel said, but the suspect died from his injuries.

Joe Biden was again at his beach house in Delaware for more vacation over the weekend.
He then left there on Monday and flew to Santa Clara County, California, to deliver remarks about climate change and the environment. He’s later scheduled to go to a campaign reception. At his climate remarks were Rep. Anna Eshoo (D-CA) and California Gov. Gavin Newsom (who some think may be pushing something of a shadow campaign to take over if Biden can’t continue his campaign).
But the time in Delaware doesn’t seem to have rejuvenated him. What he said prompted more calls for him to step aside and for people to invoke the 25th Amendment.

It seems that virtually everything has been deemed to be racist in today’s world, including the word “field,” the NBA MVP vote, Columbus Day, hard work, the “OK” symbol, the American flag, milk—the list goes on and on into absurdity. [Tweet]
Now you can add yet another casualty to the racism obsession: The Body Mass Index. BMI has been used by doctors for decades to help determine a person’s health. But it was designed by a white man, so therefore it must be evil:
The American Medical Association, the largest organization of doctors in the US, said the metric has been used for ‘racist exclusion’

The federal bureaucracy is a smoldering smorgasbord of corruption, incompetence, and pride flag-waving wokeness, and the big questions for the next Republican president are where to start fixing it and how. There are a few things that need to happen day one to begin imposing our iron discipline upon the out-of-control derp state – pardons for every persecuted victim of the two-tiered “justice” system, orders to comply with all GOP investigatory subpoenas immediately, and firing Chris Wray. But defeating the unofficial fourth branch of government requires focus and intensity. You cannot take it down overnight because it will fight back with support from the regime media.

Justice Department Special Counsel Jack Smith is overseeing the current investigation into and indictment of Donald Trump. But as USA Today reported, Smith “built [his] reputation” in his previous role overseeing the prosecution of former Rep. Rick Renzi (R-Ariz.). And according to Renzi himself, in exclusive comments to PJ Media, there’s evidence tying Smith to illegal wiretaps, jury influencing, payoffs for false testimony, and other highly questionable behavior. The newly published allegations led Donald Trump to call Smith “deranged.”
Renzi was convicted on bribery and extortion charges, to which he pleaded “not guilty,” and was later given a full presidential pardon by Trump.

As Matt Margolis pointed out Saturday, Old Joe Biden signed off his ramblings at the National Safer Communities Summit at the University of Hartford by saying, “God save the queen, man.” It was just the latest in a lengthy string of bizarre and often incomprehensible things the putative leader of the free world has said, going back to Corn Pop and Lying, Dog-Faced Pony Soldier, and exhausted Biden regime aides are now throwing in the towel. After two and a half years of doing everything they could to make the figurehead appear coherent, they’re admitting that, just like the rest of us,

After these last seven years, it’s obvious any politician who questions the Congress-defying security state will get the Trump treatment.
counting — has seen the nation’s top Republican politician framed, impeached, raided, prosecuted, and now indicted by corrupt spy agencies on behalf of the Democrat Party. Their goal is to send their top political opponent to prison on charges they said were fascist to bring against their own presidential candidates.
After these last seven years, how can anyone not expect that any Republican who questions the unelected, Congress-defying security state won’t get the Trump treatment? If they can and will do it to Trump,

As we previously reported earlier this week, on Tuesday, while Donald Trump was speaking to his followers at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J., Fox News presented a divided screen showing both Trump and President Joe Biden, featuring a chyron that read: “Wannabe dictator speaks at White House after having his political rival arrested.” [Video]
As if to showcase just how unafraid he is of his current/former employer Fox News, Tucker Carlson spoke of the incident in his latest episode of “Tucker” on Twitter and held nothing back as he questioned why the left was so triggered by the chyron, which aired for less than thirty seconds.

You’re going to LOVE your new equity-based community housing.
Earlier today, New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced a new plan to house the millions of illegal aliens flooding into the country who are being sent to sanctuary city New York.
Adams said regular New Yorkers should house the busloads of illegal aliens arriving in The City.
Adams said he wants to house the illegals in private residences.
Adams told New Yorkers, “It is my vision to take the next step to this faith-based locales and then move to a private residence.”
It’s the right thing to do.

Rochelle Walensky’s reign of terror is over at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, but a new war is about to begin. First, congressional Republicans should do all they can to derail this nomination. Mandy Cohen is the person slated to replace Walensky and, given her background, could become a key piece in the Left’s crusade to erode Second Amendment rights. Cohen co-founded Doctors for Obama, which Chuck Ross of the Washington Free Beacon noted espoused anti-police and anti-Second Amendment policy positions.
Cohen is one of those professionals who want to treat mass shootings and gun violence like a viral outbreak,

This week, the Federal Aviation Administration signed off on plans to open an emergency relief shelter for illegal immigrants in an old postal warehouse at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.
According to the New York Post, the FAA signed off on the Port Authority plans to open the shelter after local and state officials searched the city and surrounding areas for new places to house illegal immigrants coming from the southern border. According to the outlet, the area has seen more than 70,000 people arrive from South and Central America.

At some point in many people’s working lives, they hold jobs at which they must wear a uniform. I’ve had several such jobs over the years. Technically, I had a “uniform” as a fire warden. but that was nothing more than a dress shirt with some patches on the shoulder and a name badge. If I had to wear it for some reason, I usually paired it with my best pair of Nomex® pants that didn’t have any fire damage. But the kind of uniform I’m talking about is the shirt and pants someone must wear to work at a fast food chain, a copy shop, a delivery company, etc.
