A former top Department of Justice official completely blew up Special Counsel Jack Smith’s inquisition against President Trump with one simple tweet on Friday. He claims there is a key piece of information in the indictment that is grounds for a quick dismissal.
As TGP’s Cassandra MacDonald previously reported Trump announced on social media Thursday night that he had been informed he had been indicted in special counsel Jack Smith’s investigation into his handling of classified documents.
He will be arraigned in Miami on Tuesday.

The flaw in the indictment mentioned in this article applies to most government officials who have leaked to the media, meaning all of them are guilty of 793(e) violations, if interpreted by Jack Smith and Weissman. However, Jack Smith's interpretation is wrong, and total slop law.

“ For example, in paragraph 6a on page 3, we hear about the recording of the Bedminster call, which the MSNBC’s of the world have been beating a dead horse about for quite a while based on such leaks.”
Was the FBI listening in on President Trump’s phone? Did they have his NJ home fitted with listening devices? Or, did one of Trump’s guests at Bedminster wear a wire so that the FBI could monitor the conversation? Don’t such invasions of privacy require court approval based on possible criminal charges against the former President? If yes, what was Trump under criminal investigation for in 2021? Which is over a year before the disgusting raid on MaraLargo. Can the FBI wire tap / eavesdrop on whomever it pleases, especially someone not a Democrat?

I take it Andy McCarthy didn't bother reading the indictment or he himself would have caught this error himself. Or maybe he is too scared of Jack Smith to admit publicly that Smith screwed up big time.

This isn't the first time the FBI/DOJ have either fabricated or illegally obtained "evidence" to pursue a criminal prosecution.

The so-called 37 count indictment is really just 7 counts. They are claiming a separate count for each of 31 documents allegedly mishandled. Also, what happened to the allegedly 100+ documents found in the raid?

Leaks are hard to prove. The Bedminster situation is similar to, and arguably less egregious, than General Petraeus's disclosure of classified material to the woman who was writing a book about him (and with whom he was also having an affair). Petraeus was allowed to plead to a misdemeanor and pay a fine.

38 counts of spitting on the sidewalk. The DOJ should be ashamed of themselves and the FBI should be shut down until they have something important to do, like enforcing the law. Through a series of obvious failed witch hunts, the democrat party is digging itself into a hole from which it will never recover.

No surprise with Andrew McCarthy. He's a long-time Trump hater. Severe TDS; not to be trusted under any circumstances.

"One of these alleged occasions was leaked to CNN last week."
Known since 2021, leaked last week to have the maximum effect due to timing. These people have outsmarted themselves. Trump has been the victim of multiple instances of illegal surveillance, leaks and setups since 2016. Hillary, you fat drunken cow, you wore that stupid hat a little too early. You are going down due to real crimes.

Another example just how out of control the government headed by obama ...is and has been...what's he so afraid of....I think biden's play for pay during his vice presidency has obama's name all over them...and he's worried he will face charges as well...so in my opinion this indictment on President Trump was only a political ploy to frighten WE conservatives...and they really don't have enough to send President Trump to jail for 100 years....next indictment coming will be for sedition on Jan6...those poor hostages held by nervous nancy was and is a waste of their time....poor people....

So many of these stories seem to under the illusion that our legal system has not been corrupted.
In reality, justice no longer exists. Biden and his handlers completely control the justice department, and somehow they have even gotten to the judiciary. It's broken.

Our President Trump is on offensive against the Communist Department of Injustice of Merrick Garfinkle Garland. Yesterday he gave two speeches containing a 12-point governance program. Highlights: No World War III; End Ukraine War; Trump reciprocal tariff program for all imports; Revoke Most Favored Nation for China; Unleash the ocean of liquid Black Gold under our feet to pay federal debt; Freedom to buy the car of cooking stove of your choice; Keep Social Security and Medicare protected from DeSantis, Pence and Ryan; Deportation of Illegal Aliens to whence they came from like Eisenhower did; No sexual mutilation of minors; Appointment of fair justices; Dismantling the Communist Deep State.
I wish out valiant champion Trump would start a Legal Defence Fund just for his defence, which is ours too. I supported the campaign and America First Legal (Stephen Miller) but this Is not specifically dedicated to Trump lawyers.
