A councilwoman in a Colorado district lost her reelection bid by a wide voter margin, only a month after a video of her advocating for reparations was shared on social media. (snip) In May, CdeBaca was seen in a video in which she argued that white-owned businesses ought to be taxed more as a means of reparations which could then be distributed to minority-owned business owners.
"Capitalism was built on stolen land, stolen labors, and stolen resources," CdeBaca said at the Greater Metro Denver Ministerial Alliance.

Go woke and go broke; in this instance she lost her council woman job. Thankfully America is standing up more to the radical left agenda, especially since the Bud Light fiasco, where the once number one selling "King of Beers" lost that distinction after it reverted to the Drag Queen of Beers.

Do I have this straight? This twit says to tax white owned businesses more and give the money to black owned businesses. Will those honky business owners dig into their own banks accounts to pay these extra taxes or...raises their prices? Does she think NO black people shop in these places? I'll NEVER understand the shallowness of the liberal mind. Guess she couldn't get the cheating process set up in time.

That's the way it can be done in America. Let's hope that this trends and will continue elsewhere.

How’s this for a suggestion? Let’s put all these democrat ridiculous and dangerous issues on the ballot and let the American people speak. This, of course, would only work if the system was not corrupt which we know is not in any way trustworthy now. However, clearly every time the American people speak it is vehemently against the democrats radical policies. I would love to see the response of Americans to the nightmare this cabal has created. How about a state of the union census?

I can't believe people could be so cruel and heartless that they would not want to work long days so they could pay extra taxes so the lazy, unproductive whiners in their city could enjoy the fruits of the labor of others because ancestors they never knew worked in cotton fields. This is not who we are. /S of course.

Obviously an amateur democrat politician. You never reveal what you really intend to do until after you are elected.

The concept of Reparations is unpopular with everyone except those who have had their hands held out since birth and the stupid white women with green hair who have a love affair going with this race of sacred cow imports from the Dark Continent. I daresay that even Gavin Newsom would be thrown out of office in an honest recall election over this giveaway lunacy. Slavery has been going on since the dawn of mankind, why them, why now?

Thanks for the link #15; Here's what the winning candidate has on his website. VP Harris couldn't come up with better Word Salad.
Justice, equity, diversity and inclusion (JEDI) is rooted in our social equity collective impact engagements with residents of and businesses in District 9. Watson for Denver acknowledges that most institutions throughout our city were not constructed through a lens of equity but through the fog of bias. As we co-create with communities to imagine a city that works for all and not just a privileged few, we must purposefully elevate the voices of marginalized communities, knowing that the wisdom of our solutions to the city’s most vexing problems will be best generated by those who do not typically have access to the levers of power. The success of Denver City Council District 9 will only be achieved if we are measurably and transparently equitable in our processes and intentionally inclusive in our outcomes for all communities.

Boy oh boy. The Peoples Republic of Denver is in the news again. The Denver deep state is something, no? Most glad wife and I got out of there and settled on the west slope five years ago. But our kids and g'kids still live there. Willingly? Depends which of them I speak to.

Very glad the voters booted this creature. She deserved nothing less than to lose her spot on the council.

Yes, I can't translate what the winner, Watson, is saying. I would have to say Denver loses no matter which candidate won.
