Johns Hopkins Medicine staff given roadmap

Employees at Johns Hopkins Medicine in Maryland were given a new pronoun usage guide that lists dozens of pronouns include "aerself" and "faerself" while staffers navigate a recent inclusive ID policy, Fox News Digital has learned. A pronoun usage guide from Johns Hopkins Medicine details 50 different pronouns that health care employees could use in the workplace, with other options including ve, xe, per and ae. The guide includes examples of how to use the pronouns, such as: "Ae cleaned the office all by aerself," or "I gave faer the key."

Comments:

I don’t even know what some of these pronouns mean, much less when and where to use them. I’m considering taking a vow of silence. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I would simply use the traditional biologically based pronouns including the use of male when the sex is unknown.

The more pronouns the merrier because these freaks will turn on themselves if they can't keep them all straight as people get more and more offended. If ae calls faer xe, faer will report ae to HR and so it will go.

FTA: In response to the name rules, Dr. Stanley Goldfarb, a retired professor and the former associate dean for curriculum at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, said that doctors and patients must have "clear" communication, and that this change to name and pronoun rules muddies the waters and suggests political bias. "The most important component of the physician patient relationship is the ability to have clear and appropriate communication," Goldfarb said. One of my dearest childhood friends has an eldest son who is a physician at Johns Hopkins, one of the world's greatest medical facilities. Transwoman "Paula" Neira is badly messed up in the head. Why is this great medical facility "DEIing" themselves into something lesser? It's upsetting to the sane, to those who love the English language and don't went to see it queered. This "pronoun" business muddies communication even worse than having a flight crew named Oveur, Ungar, and Dunne. Those names caused confusion in 1980's Airplane. As Kareem Abdul 747 Pilot said, "What?"

So Johns Hopkins Medicine has officially abandoned reality. Do they also have that weird Hippocratic oath substitute, the social justice one? You'll be better off with a doctor from a second tier school. They won't treat you on the basis of the color of your skin or your pronoun, but on the content of your disease process.

The first time I ran across this idiocy in print was when I was reading an article about a man who intentionally ran over a young guy he thought was a Trump supporter (you may remember the story). The article said the driver of the truck struck the young victim. Then THEY drove away. They? I scoured the article to find what other people were in the truck with the driver. A defense lawyer would have some fun with this one, and probably a lot of "evidence" thrown out once police had to explain who was or was not in the truck with the driver. So this infantilization of the language causes imprecision and obviously confusion. All of the centuries of the study of linguistics, vocabulary, syntax, philology, etymology, all the efforts to speak clearly, write enforceable contracts and treaties and everyday agreements; and in medicine, making sure a patient understands the risks and benefits, important care and understanding prescription instructions, etc. Well, no more words are needed here to make the point. Now, we are being told to regress to something more primitive than anything so far known from early man's relationship with his environment or other humans. And since when have we accepted the tyranny of the minority, and this, of the insane?

Older Americans are increasingly ‘unretiring’ to deal with elevated prices and rocky financial positions. Unfortunately, financial insecurity from inflation may be here to stay. Rising costs have turned grocery staples like eggs into luxuries for many people on a fixed budget. Prices seemed to be coming down, but recent data signal that the end of elevated inflation remains elusive. The consumer price index (CPI) rose 4.9% in April from a year prior. This is below the generational high of 9.1% in June 2022. However, overall CPI was flat from March after months of slowing price increases.

The agreement reached Saturday night between Speaker Kevin McCarthy and President Joe Biden is an historic first step toward shifting government back toward common sense and conservatism. It is a step toward creating a smaller government, lower taxes, less regulation, economic growth, prosperity, and more take home pay. All of this will also strengthen Social Security and Medicare. I emphasize it’s a first step because that is what I lived through in 1995 in our first year as a Republican House majority (the first in 40 years). Step by step, we got budget changes, moved from welfare to work, cut taxes, and reduced bureaucratic regulatory overkill.
