Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador again waded into the U.S. political situation on Thursday when he urged Hispanics not to vote for newly-declared presidential candidate and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis — the latest example of the Mexican president meddling in U.S. elections against Republicans. Lopez Obrador spoke at a press conference a day after DeSantis declared his candidacy for the Republican nomination for president in 2024. DeSantis has taken a hard stance against illegal immigration, and has called for greater security at the border — including shutting down the border with Mexico.

You could say that the top elected official in Mexico is interfering in the 2024 US Presidential election. So you have to wonder how many Mexican citizens who would be influenced in that way by the top of the Mexican Government are going to vote in the upcoming US Presidential election?

So, because we have a man who wants to keep our country safe from invaders, our southern neighbor is interfering with out domestic elections. He must be scared of something.

I am voting for Trump. He won in 2020, and is the only Republican to unmask the corruption, and reverse communist policies. Trump is the only Republican now that will do that.

Could it be that Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador is just looking for a meager hand out from Biden? Crumbs from a rich guy's table would be enough moolah to set Obrador up for the rest of his life. In Mexico.

It is not newsworthy that Mexican Presidents only like American political leaders/administrations that let them take advantage of the USA, be they Democrat or Republican.

Stop sending us all of our problems, we have enough of our own.

The Mexican president owned by the drug cartels doesn't like DeSantis (or probably any other Republican)? Of course not! They are all a threat to his and the cartels power and cash cow from drugs and illegals.

AMLO and Trump got along swimmingly, an old Communist and a Capitalist billionaire. But they are both nationalists who love their countries and represent their respective countries' interests from behind secure borders.
“But AMLO is a Communist.” Sure. But how Mexico divvies up its own assets internally is none of our business.
That is the definition of Westphalian Sovereignty, the system that has governed International Relations for 400 years. Trump and AMLO gave us an object lesson in how that system of is still the best IR paradigm even in this modern, high- tech world. Trump and AMLO (and Trudeau reluctantly) gave us the USMCA, a 21st Century replacement for an inherently flawed 20th Century NAFTA.
I expect the old Communist misses his old Capitalist amigo.

Who cares what the Mexican president says...he can't run his own country without the help of the cartels...so I think his words are meaningless...the cartels are hoping to divide the republicans so that biden can win...well he's not running...but the rats can't afford to name a candidate so far...they are waiting for the BIG jan6 indictment of President Trump on sedition...then they have sanctimonious to deal with...someone told them that President Trump will not run...wonder who told them....probably lying Ryan....

Can you imagine the level of response if the Mexican President had instructed his constituents in the USA both illegally and legally to withhold their future votes from a Democrat candidate or Democrat candidates during the run-up to the 2024 Presidential election? No doubt the Democrats and their propaganda arm, the liberal media, would be going nuts. Have you heard anything out of the wimpy Republicans?
