Consumers' Research, a Washington, D.C.–based conservative nonprofit organization, recently introduced "Woke Alerts," text messages that inform consumers about products and companies that cater to a radical "woke agenda."
A recent alert highlighted a new LGBT "pride" clothing collection from Target. The corporate behemoth has long been a champion of progressive dogma and policies, opening up bathrooms and dressing rooms to "all genders," eliminating separate "boys" and "girls" toy sections, etc. The left-leaning international retail giant has sold kids' books with titles such as "Are You a Boy or Are You a Girl?" and "The Hips on the Drag Queen Go Swish, Swish, Swish."

A new poll revealed that Senator Elizabeth Warren, a Massachusetts Democrat, would be losing by a huge margin in a hypothetical head-to-head with former Republican Governor Charlie Baker.
The Fiscal Alliance Foundation published a poll on Thursday, which was carried out on May 6-7, showing that of the 750 survey respondents, 49 percent said they would support Baker for U.S. Senate, while only 34 percent said they would back Warren who announced in March that she will be running for reelection in 2024. The poll has a margin of error of 3.6 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.

Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin on Wednesday announced that she and her husband of 19 years are seeking a divorce just weeks after she lost her re-election bid following a slurry of controversial partying videos. (snip) The world’s youngest prime minister to take office at the age of 34 in 2019 has had a tumultuous few months.
Last month, she lost her bid for re-election in a razor-thin race against her conservative and far-right rivals, which prompted some to question whether her controversial partying videos were behind her and her party’s defeat.

When asked what makes a good mom, 41% said it was their ability to multi-task while 46% said being supportive was key to successful parenting.

In this episode of The Insanity Continues in the No-Longer-Golden State…
As the power-drunk California Reparations Commission continues its ridiculous demands on the Democrat-controlled state to make amends for slavery and racism, the task force is now demanding a formal state apology for former Gov Ronald Reagan’s use of the term “welfare queen.”
Never mind that California never in its history allowed slavery. Never mind that the task force claimed Reagan used the term while he served as governor from January 1967 to January 1975, but in reality, he used it during the 1976 presidential campaign after he left the governor’s mansion.

I’ve told this story before, but it bears repeating here. Once upon a time, I wanted to be an Episcopal priest. The diocese in which I was living rejected me. (snip) But one Sunday, an older “supply,” or substitute priest, took me aside and told me not to take it personally. (snip) But he continued, “Right now, the diocese is not accepting straight, white men for the ordination process. But if you hang in there, you might have a chance in a few years or so.” (snip) The United Methodist Church lost a significant number of parishes over the weekend.

Disney+ subscriptions experienced a steep drop off during the first three months of 2023, with the woke streaming service losing a whopping 4 million customers globally. Overall, Disney’s streaming business continues to bleed money with no sign of profitability in sight.
While most of the Disney+ losses resulted from the end of the Hotstar deal in India, the streamer posted an unexpected loss of 300,000 subscribers in the U.S. and Canada as more consumers wake up to Disney’s relentless push of transgender and drag queen content in its entertainment for children.

The Georgia Bulldogs once again will not be coming to the White House to celebrate a national championship. The team announced Tuesday that they are declining President Joe Biden’s invitation to attend “College Athlete Day” scheduled for June 12.
An athletic department spokesman told Dawg Nation, “The University of Georgia first received on May 3 an invitation for the Bulldog football team to visit the White House on June 12. Unfortunately, the date suggested is not feasible given the student-athlete calendar and time of year. However, we are appreciative of the invitation and look forward to other opportunities for Georgia teams moving forward."

As it continues to aggressively push LGBTQ ideology in its entertainment for children, the Walt Disney Co. invited drag queen Nina West to the world premiere of its live-action The Little Mermaid on Monday at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
During the blue-carpet festivities, Nina West — whose real name is Andrew Levitt — cavorted with actress Melissa McCarthy, who plays Ursula the Sea Witch and has stated her performance was inspired by drag queens. Nina West thanked Disney in an Instagram post, saying, “Thank you, @disney @disneystudios @disneyanimation @disneylittlemermaid for having me tonight and allowing me to share in such a magical celebration.”

The U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) both solicited signatures for and eventually approved the infamous 2020 letter claiming that the Hunter Biden laptop story was a Russian disinformation plot, recent congressional testimony suggests. According to a report to be released Wednesday by the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, multiple former U.S. intelligence officials testified under oath about the CIA’s involvement in the distribution of the letter, which was eventually signed by more than 50 former senior U.S. intelligence officials.

In today's ridiculous news, I present this picture:
Here's
@JohnKerry
at the coronation on Saturday and whaddaya know? He appears to have found those medals he proudly, flamboyantly threw away in an antiwar protest in 1971. In case you were wondering whether Kerry is still a phony, the answer is yes — yes, he is.
Kerry is famous for tossing his Vietnam war medals over a fence, or at least, saying he did, before he later said it was just his ribbons, and then later still saying it (was) some other guy's medals.
