Video has emerged of shameless House Democrats seen playing with their phones, incessantly yawning (and not covering their mouths), not paying attention and some say even appearing to even fall asleep at a NYC Congressional Hearing on “Victims of Violent Crime in Manhattan”. SEE VIDEO BELOW: [video]
The liberal likes of Adam Schiff (D-California), Hank Johnson (D-Georgia), (D-Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas), Jerry Nadler (D-New York) and Madeleine Dean (D-Pennsylvania) were all caught not paying attention and playing with their phones for extended periods of time during the heartbreaking hearing focusing on victims of violent crime in Manhattan.

In a video response to “woke corporate America,” Egard Watch Company took a firm stand in the debate over transgender athletes competing in women’s sports.
The “#Erased” ad features a young girl being encouraged to pursue a dream of becoming "the fastest runner in the world."
"I got this little nugget of an idea from my dad," she says in the ad. "He used to watch me run and say, ‘aint no woman alive that can beat you,’ and I believed him. He made me feel invincible. It wasn’t easy. I trained hard, harder than anyone else I know. But I was made for this, an unstoppable force.

President Joe Biden is now 80 years old. He will be 82 when he campaigns for the 2024 presidency — and a clearly debilitated 86 should he be elected and fill out his second term. He has been in government for over a half-century.
Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and current representative from California is 83.
Rep. Steny Hoyer, D-Md., the second-ranking Democratic House member behind Pelosi, was House majority leader until early this year. He is 83, and has been an elected official for nearly 60 years.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., is 72, with 48 years in elected government.

The launch of SpaceX’s first Starship orbital test flight was glorious — the largest, most powerful rocket ever to fly. After a brief halt and reset during the last few seconds of the countdown, the unmanned Starship + Super Heavy stack lifted off like nothing ever before. To my eyes, it looked like a magical hybrid: The bottom half, pure Saturn V; the top half, pure science fiction.
Here’s the successful launch: [video]
When it took off at 9:34 a.m. Eastern this morning, Starship took off in a glorious rush. About six of the rocket’s 33 engines either failed to ignite or failed shortly after liftoff,

On Wednesday, Florida lawmakers passed a bill supported by Governor Ron DeSantis, which will allow for the death penalty to be imposed on individuals convicted of sexually abusing children.
HB 1297, otherwise known as the Capital Sexual Battery law, provides the death penalty for certain child sexual offenders. Separate death penalty proceedings are required, with a jury making findings and recommendations on whether the defendant should be sentenced to life imprisonment without parole or to death.
The bill from the Florida Legislature amends the law regarding sexual battery committed against children under the age of 12. The amendment provides for the possibility of imposing the death penalty

A third suspect was arrested in connection to the mass shooting at an Alabama Sweet 16 that left four people dead and 28 injured.
Wilson LaMar Hill Jr., 20, joins brothers Ty Reik McCullough, 17, and Travis McCullough, 16, behind bars for reckless murder after they allegedly opened fire at a Dadeville celebration on April 15.
Hill was arrested on Wednesday, a day after the two brothers. All three were charged as adults and ordered to be held without bond.

Last weekend, a flash mob of up to 500 Chicago young people — mostly teens — descended on downtown and began to burn cars, terrorize tourists, smash windows, and fight among themselves in a no-longer-shocking display of lawlessness and mayhem.
Some Chicago leaders appeared frightened. “We’ve had more than our share of downtown mass arrest incidents going back over a decade. This is not new,” 2nd Ward Alderman Brian Hopkins said. “What is new is to have it happen three days in a row.”
The police were paralyzed and ended up quarreling with other agencies about who was in charge and who was at fault.

A short time back, our editor-in-chief said that there had been a school shooting in Nashville, and asked if anyone would cover it. I wrote the first story about it for PJ Media. It wasn’t the first time I had ever written about human tragedy or cruelty. And I have hated doing it every time. I always feel like Judas collecting his 30 pieces of silver from someone else’s suffering.
Be that as it may, the Nashville shooting mattered, and not just because it gave the Left more talking points about the evils of gun ownership. After all, if we are being honest, the Left can come up with talking points

The state of California is implementing full Marxism before our very eyes under the guise of “equity.” And so now there can be no possible doubt if there ever was for anyone: instituting Communism has been what “equity” initiatives have been about all along. Now three of its most powerful utility companies are saying that they’re going to charge based not on how much of their product was used, but on how much money the user makes.
In simpler times, if you bought something, you paid for it. Rich or poor, tall or short, black or white, female or male, wise or foolish, everyone paid the same amount for a product.

Yeonmi Park escaped the oppressed, poverty-stricken nightmare of North Korea and sex slavery in China to reach freedom and success in America. But Park is worried about what woke ideology and authoritarian enforcement of wokeness are doing to America. If radical leftism’s current progress isn’t stopped, according to Park, America will become more like North Korea all the time.
The Founding Fathers thought they had prevented aristocracy by disallowing titles, but there can be a powerful oligarchy without titles or formal status, wielding more control over the lives of millions than many princes or dukes could have ever dreamed of

U.S. climate czar John Kerry claimed in an interview on Sunday that “so much has been invested in clean energy that there can be no rolling back of moves to end carbon emissions,” according to an interview with the Associated Press.
Kerry claimed that if countries phase out petroleum-based fuels, the world can purportedly limit average global warming to 1.7 degrees Celsius (2.7 degrees Fahrenheit).
“We’re in a very different place than where we were a year ago, let alone two and three years ago,” Kerry said.
“But we’re not doing everything we said we’d do,”
