A group of leftist students at the University of Chicago are demanding their university pay over $1 billion in reparations to Chicago’s South Side residents for displacing black people living in the area. There’s just one problem: The university, which has been located in Chicago’s Hyde Park since 1890, is not what’s displacing the residents. It is Barack Obama and his presidential center that have caused the median home price to more than double in the South Side, forcing people to leave the area.
Obama claims that his $500 million presidential center,(snip) will change Chicago’s Woodlawn and South Shore neighborhoods for the better, but residents told The Federalist that isn’t true.

President Joe Biden’s border chief is shutting down the deadly Darien Gap jungle trail in Panama he built for migrants in 2021 — just as a huge wave of northbound migrants is now overwhelming his border management plans.
The shutdown news was delivered on April 11 in a Trilateral Joint Statement issued by Panama, Columbia, and border chief Alejandro Mayorkas:
the three governments will seek to achieve the following ambitious goals:

The document did not explain the price that Biden’s pro-migration border chief paid to the two countries for their cooperation. That price is likely an agreement to let some of their citizens take Americans’ jobs in the United States.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy told Breitbart News that it is time to “embed some military” on the U.S. border with Mexico to fight the Mexican drug cartels.
McCarthy’s comments came during an exclusive long-form video interview taped last month in the ceremonial U.S. House Speaker’s office just off the House floor. The interview, the latest installment in the Breitbart News On the Hill video series, touched on many topics including immigration and the border, but also confronting the Chinese Communist Party, the debt ceiling, and McCarthy’s decision to release January 6 surveillance tapes earlier this year.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s urgent request to enter a restraining order against Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) was rejected on April 11, the same day it was filed.
U.S. District Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil, a Trump appointee, turned down Bragg’s emergency request for a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction against Jordan.
“The Court declines to enter the proposed Temporary Restraining Order and Order to Show Cause,” Vyskocil said, noting that she had not yet received several documents that were referenced in Bragg’s filings.
She ordered Jordan and other defendants in the case to respond to the lawsuit and scheduled a hearing for April 19.

In the BIG PICTURE a local New York City District Attorney has created a criminal case, structured on a federal crime, that the federal government has stated was not a crime. This is the Rubicon that has been crossed by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. In essence this is extreme Lawfare in action.
In response to the jurisdictional issue; in addition to the substantive political construct of the case; the largest mechanism within congress, the House Judiciary Committee has subpoenaed officials from the District Attorney’s office to answer questions about the construct of the case. (snip)
In reaction to the federal response and inquiry, DA Alvin Bragg filed a

Messenger RNA or mRNA technology in vaccines is increasingly a cause for concern in the aftermath of the COVID-19 (SARS-COV-2) vaccination protocol. Recently the concern has escalated as Big Rx and Big Ag have begun lobbying against any labeling requirement for animal products which contain mRNA as part of the vaccine protocol.
Recent studies have shown in mice that mRNA can transfer to the bloodstream from food ingestion (milk). The potential to use the food supply as a vaccine pathway into humans is raising alarm bells as the long-term consequences are unknown. The Biden administration has proposed a federal mandate to reduce the supply of water to 40 million Americans who live in western states dependent on the Colorado River Basin to address long-term severe drought and low run-off conditions.
The actions were part of a draft report by the Department of the Interior’s (DOI’s) Bureau of Reclamation.
The draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement proposes to revise the current guidelines for the near-term operation of Glen Canyon and Hoover Dams.
According to the DOI, the move forms part of the Biden administration’s efforts to invest in climate change resilience for the Colorado River Basin and all the communities that rely on it.

The Biden administration, months before the Mar-a-Lago raid, asked the federal agency in charge of keeping the nation’s records to let the FBI pore over documents from former President Donald Trump’s home, a newly disclosed letter shows.
The White House Counsel’s Office sent the request to the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) in April, acting Archivist Debra Wall later told Evan Corcoran, a lawyer for Trump.
“On April 11, 2022, the White House Counsel’s Office—affirming a request from the Department of Justice supported by an FBI letterhead memorandum—formally transmitted a request that NARA provide the FBI access to the 15 boxes for its review within seven days,

The Democrat National Committee (DNC) has selected Chicago, Illinois, as the location for the 2024 convention. Joe Biden called Governor JB Pritzker earlier this morning and informed him of the selection.
It’s an interesting development as most of the betting money would have predicted the Democrat convention toward Atlanta, Georgia. However, if you factor in the unspoken influence and importance of Chicago Jesus, et al,… well, then things take a more fulsome background.
