'I’ve got real issues I got to deal
with': DeSantis says Florida WON'T get
'involved' if Trump is indicted as he
attacks 'Soros-funded' DA Alvin Bragg

Ron DeSantis attacked 'Soros-funded' prosecutor Alvin Bragg for creating a 'manufactured circus' in his first comments on rumors Donald Trump will be indicted. The Florida governor made the comments Monday after Trump's inner circle criticized him for staying silent on claims the former president will be arrested in the Stormy Daniels hush money case on Tuesday. It offers a dilemma to Trump's likely rivals for the Republican 2024 nomination: Do they take the opportunity to bash the former president for his indiscretions, or do they steer clear for fear of alienating the vocal, restless party base?

It looks like Gov. DeSantimonius got in a little dig in his supposed "support" of President Trump, saying he paid off a porn star... We don't know if Daniels was a porn star when she met Donald Trump before he was president. If that's a friend's support spare me. We've always had a question about politicians when they act so squeaky clean and above others. "There by the Grace of God go I." This attitude reminds me of Romney who acts so high and mighty but is one of the dirtiest politicians in Congress.

#9~ “It looks like Gov. DeSantimonius got in a little dig in his supposed "support" of President Trump, saying he paid off a porn star...” / For the record, an article published yesterday (3/19/23) at a different website included images of Facebook text between Stormy Daniels and another individual that occurred in 2017; that Facebook story now deleted. In the written exchange, Stormy wrote that she never had sex with Donald Trump; she had a business conversation with him. She added that she could have made a lot more money than what was being talked about.

#10~ Decency, civility and morality have not fallen out of favor with MAGA supporters; if anything, their decency, civility and morality far exceed the mind-set of liberals and RINOs. Their decency is in making an allowance for human frailty that often leads to personal remorse; their civility is to make such an allowance without harshly criticizing others with different views; their morality is based in a strong religious foundation that is obedient to the teachings of Scripture that include not judging others (Matthew 7:1-3).

#6~ President Trump’s “neurotic followers”? Without having walked in President Trump’s shoes for the past seven years, it is inappropriate to sit in judgment of comments he may occasionally make that sting. This man has been subjected to visceral hatred beyond what most people in this country have ever seen before; he and his family have been victims of character assassination for these past seven years. Unless and until someone has walked in his shoes it is not only unreasonable, but also unfair to judge him for words that may sting—especially if ingratitude for past help and betrayal are factors. Judge not. (James 2:13, 4:12, 5:9 ~ Luke 6:37, Matthew 7:1, Romans 14:13)

Ron DeSantis had better be squeaky clean with absolutely nothing, not one iota of a sexual misstep in his background from high school until now. It’s not required that he do anything the very appearance of impropriety is enough. Plus, the powers that be are not opposed to making stuff up. The hypocrisy that permeates the political atmosphere now is so thick it could be cut with a knife, yet few acknowledge the sexual wrongdoings of Biden and his son. Joe is a known sniffer of women, teens and little girls. He also gets handsy with any female within groping distance. Hunter? My gosh, the videos speak for themselves. Where is the outrage regarding either of these depraved reprobates? I am not and never will defend any unwanted sexual advances to women even though some women who accuse are very shady characters, but I am not going to strain at a gnat and swallow a Biden camel. Let’s be clear. This possible indictment has nothing to do with sexual allegations or payment for favors. This is political warfare being waged on a President that the democrats both fear and hate. It is a means to prevent him from running. If democrats thought they could beat President Trump they would not go to such lengths to stop him. They fear him because they know none of these other candidates will go after the corruption like Donald Trump will. He has seen it up close and personal and stood and fought against the heinous deep state, democrats and some Republicans along with the parasitical bureaucrats who believe they run the country. This is why they hate him and will do or say anything, tell any lie or half truth, and omit or obfuscate truth. These are all part of their cadre of weapons and they use them at will with absolutely no question or challenge from the media. They have made up more lies and false narratives about this one guy and yet, he still remains standing, not for himself but because he knows why this is being done and is willing to take the slings and arrows because he believes in this country and its people. He is not willing to make it easy on himself and go enjoy his retirement. He is committed to the country and he will be the last man standing if that is what it takes. Look at the other candidates, would any one of them walk through such an unimaginable hell including having their families viciously trashed in the most relentless attacks ever seen in political history to put themselves out there? To do this, you have to be running on more than ego. You have to have a commitment to something bigger than you are that comes from the soul. For that reason, I cannot abandon him because he refuses to abandon us. The democrat party will not go easy on any candidate and my money is on the guy that has run their demonic gauntlet for years and remains unbowed and unbroken with the same vision he had for this country when he came down the escalator in 2015. Let these children play at being the nominee. My support goes to the man who still stands tall and unmovable against all odds.

#13 and #14 - you might want to read the entirety of the Scripture before wrongly quoting it. Matthew 7:1-5 clearly says not to judge others as a hypocrite. There is no restriction on the power to judge, but an admonition that the judging standard used will also be used on the person making the judgment. The verses do not stop at "judge not."

They can’t handle it. This is by FAR an incomplete list of the nicknames and the insults hurled by Trump over his political career. They are many times crude and often hurtful. I have no doubt that he loves this country and the first three years of his presidency were outstanding. As stated. I voted for Trump twice and will vote for him again if he is the chosen candidate. I am with #19, as usual. I find the third paragraph the most insightful. Ron’s lovely wife was a beauty pageant winner, I believe. Right now, Ron is not getting beat up. Wait till they start in on HIS wife. Will we see gentlemanly Christian Republican Senators and Congressmen go to the microphones to denounce the attack? They never said a word while our First Lady Melania was attacked and lied about nearly every week. They never stood up for Governor Palin’s baby who was mocked. I guess I missed where our party’s gentleman/statesmen Senators stood up in defense of Secretary of State Rice when cartoons depicted her as a bird with grossly exaggerated negroid features. Yes, I hope Ron DeSantis is as ready as he thinks he is.

#19~ As always, an eloquent, compassionate, comprehensible, rational, reasoned, intellectual rather than emotional composition. Sincerely appreciated. #22~ “Matthew 7:1-5 clearly says not to judge others as a hypocrite.” / Precisely. That was/is the intended purpose of citing the Scripture verse--the essence of all five verses is, “judge not.” Individuals judging others need to be introspective before passing judgment on others; no mortal is without flaw so before condemning others, think/speak carefully. Incidentally, have been reading Scripture nightly for more than 60 years. #24~ Citing chapter-and-verse much appreciated. Without question, comments such as listed are cringe-worthy and not appreciated, however, those most unfortunate outbursts are suspected to be a means of human venting for the dishonesty, insults, lies, slurs, etc. cast upon him and/or the overall character/reputation of the individual(s) at whom such disparaging comments are being directed. Further, his outbursts may be due to insights he may know about that are not known to the public. Whether or not there are any lies in those lamentable comments is elusive. #25~ “Trump shot first.” / Whether justifiable or not, not having walked in President Trump’s shoes these past seven years is worthy of serious contemplation before criticizing or judging him for times he may exhibit typically human exasperation/frustration. "These are the times that try men's souls." (Founding Father, Thomas Paine”
