A private Christian school in Vermont that forfeited a girls’ basketball game against a team with a biological male “transgender” player has been banned from participating in upcoming sporting events. The Vermont Principals’ Association, which oversees school sporting events, announced on Monday that Mid Vermont Christian School would be ineligible to participate in sporting events and other activities done through the organization. “The VPA again reiterates its ongoing support of transgender student-athletes as not only a part of building an inclusive community for each student to grow and thrive.

Comments:

The VPA went on to say that if a few girls suffer serious injuries competing against young men in contact sports, hey it's no big deal. And in the spirit of "inclusiveness", Mid Vermont Christian School is hereby banned from competition.

“The prohibition against discrimination includes discrimination based on a student’s actual or perceived sex and gender.” A "perceived perception" can also be a false perception. I don't understand how or why an individual's false perception should be "affirmed" as a matter of law or "best practices" involving minor children. As the lawsuits pile up against adults and organizations who participate in "affirming" XX and XY are merely "assigned" at birth, the damage done to those children will receive a proper accounting. It is inevitable that regret over medical mutilation will carry a very high price for professionals who encouraged the fantasy.

Period. He created them in His Own Image. So, If those kids, at the Christian School, are refusing to play with Those who have decided they don't like the Image God created them in, so they are going to change their Image from Boy to Girl! Amen to # 18. All women's basketball teams at the high school and college level must adopt the principle that they will not play against an opposing team if it has a biological male on the roster. If such an effort were organized and the teams remained firm it would jeopardize all the basketball finals and the NCAA championships. Only by bringing this issue before the American public at large can this madness be addressed and disposed of. Can you imagine the outrage, for example, if South Carolina had a man on its roster and UConn refused to play them? This issue of men on women's teams has to get to the national level to be addressed and adjudicated.

The only way to end the insanity, since our goverment, judicial, and political leaders won't, is to embrace the boycott of this one school by boycotting the league and its cringworthy Leaders. Mid Vermont Christian School did not discriminate against the trans athlete. They forfeited the game. That is not discrimination. Their reason for forfeiting is irrelevant. Where are all of women who fought for years for equity in HS girl's sports / women's college sports? Most have been mysteriously silent on this subject. Yes, there have been a few brave old timers speaking out against transgender men/women in female sports, but their voices are largely ignored. I have not hear any issues with female to male transgender trying to play in male sports. Is there no issue or are they so overpowered by genetic differences that they do not make the teams?

Townhall has reported on several situations in which Americans took advantage of COVID-19 pandemic programs and defrauded the government to enrich themselves at the expense of taxpayers, but it turns out there were also perfectly legal loopholes that allowed wealthy Americans to take unemployment benefits — even those who had annual incomes over $1 million. Recent data released by the IRS reveal that thousands of Americans — 19,003 to be exact — reported receiving unemployment compensation in 2020 despite having adjusted gross income of greater than $1 million that year. The amount of unemployment compensation that those millionaires received totaled $263,794,000.

Hospitalizations of U.S. children under 5 with COVID-19 soared in recent weeks to their highest level since the pandemic began, according to government data released Friday on the only age group not yet eligible for the vaccine. The worrisome trend in children too young to be vaccinated underscores the need for older kids and adults to get their shots to help protect those around them, said Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Since mid-December, with the highly contagious omicron variant spreading furiously around the country, the hospitalization rate in these youngest kids has surged to more than 4 in 100,000 children, up from 2.5 per 100,000.
