Ron DeSantis continues to take the high road by refusing to give into the media pressing him to respond to Donald Trump's criticism – including the latest posts repeating claims that the Florida governor 'groomed' teenage girls when he was a high school teacher.
Rather, DeSantis says he wants to focus his tracks on President Joe Biden and Democrats instead of in-house fighting with other Republicans.
It comes as Trump continues to launch attack lines against DeSantis after opening the floodgates earlier this month when the Florida leader emerged as a highly popular potential 2024 primary opponent.

This is my biggest issue with Trump.
He takes bad advice. I've seen the Democrats do this before. Get someone in as a campaign advisor, set the candidate up, leak him fake information that's guaranteed true - then let the man hang himself.

#1 Agree. Trump's fatal flaws are his lack of discipline, his failure to find a good mentor, and in contrast, putting terrible people close enough to do damage. Everyone can benefit from a trusted source of cautionary advice. .

DeSantis is a superb public servant. PJT can ramble on, and I agree with 99% of what he says, but attacking a man who has expressed NO aspiration for the WH (all the breathless punditry notwithstanding) is a fool's game on The Donald's part.

Trump has perfectly defined himself as a nasty egotistical jerk. It's time to move on.

Melania, where are you? Every man needs a woman who can give him a kick under the table and later ask “ what the hell did you say that for?”

The citizens of this country have enough to deal with and hardly need the childish and ill advised slurs and insults hurled by Donald Trump. He needs to direct his efforts towards helping the J6 prisoners, his supporters.

Re#7. Good point. It does seem that once they served their purpose, he abandoned them. Every one of those people are in solitary confinement because they believed in The Donald.

Middle school playground nonsense. Haven't the dem plans given you enough fodder? Do not attack other republicans. Tell us your plans, why they are better than the FJB la la land fantasy. This behavior is unbecoming and nonproductive and unnecessary.

Not sure I can believe the media coverage of this, but right or wrong, does it matter? If Trump was perfect or if DeSantis was perfect, what difference does it make when the elections are controlled by the Deep state? 2 years since obvious crimes and questions and not ONE of the key players in the unaccounted for ballots has been prosecuted. Not the FBI, social media operators, state officials, NONE of them. So what difference does it make if any non-Rat runs a perfect, patriotic, not evil, Presidential campaign? When someone as loathsome as the scum biden can win ' more votes than anyone in American history, ' we are weak slaves to those who steal everything we value, right in front of our eyes.

There he goes again. The election isn't about you, Donald. It's about the country; focus on that. You proved in November you generate more Democrat votes that Republican. And thanks to your ego, the press nurtures the train wreck that's coming, should you fail to put the country first. DeSantis is disciplined and doesn't play childish games.

I am very pro Trump. No need for him to tear down other Republicans. Focus on the issues on what you would as in your initial speech declaring you’re seeking the presidency. Stay focused. Attacking other Republicans is not focus.

At least a lot of Trump-only supporters have curtailed the lectures that DeSantis, a relative neophyte compared to the elder Trump' superior statesmanlike mien, needs to serve at Trump's knee as his VP before Conservative voters can take a chance on him. Trump is deserving of respect for his policies, so I would hate to see DeSantis engage in a derogatory back-and-forth that the press would gleefully exacerbate.

Thank you #9. I was going to try a playground analogy but you beat me to it. The next thing will be Trump saying "I know you are but what am I?". Please dont make me change my passwords to Lets Go Donald.
