John Kerry, former senator, former secretary of state, and now chief climate alarmist for the Biden administration, said in so many words Tuesday during his World Economic Forum rant that it’s too late to save the planet from global warming. Yet he claimed climate programs still need more “money, money, money, money, money, money, money.” The only reason he’s not the worst person in the world is because he has so much competition at Davos. What Kerry actually said was that he is “not convinced we’re going to get there in time to do what the scientists said, which is avoid the worst consequences of the crisis,”

The WEF, Masters of the Future, say humans are destroying the planet. Some questions. The planet is 75% ocean. Nobody lives in the Artic or the Anarctic. Canada and Russia are 90% empty. Spain is 80% empty. Nobody lives in Alaska. The Sahara Desert covers most of northern Africa, and nobody lives there. That leaves about 5% of the planet actually occupied by humans, who the WEF says are destroying 100% of the planet. I have some other questions, and I am not accepting "follow the science" as an answer, as to start, Kerry, Al Gore, and Klaus Schwab are not scientists, and Bill Gates never finished the first year of college, and is a computer coder.

Ronald Reagan, in his 1980 campaign for president, updated Harry Truman’s useful definitions of two key economic terms. “It’s a recession,” Truman had intoned, “when your neighbor loses his job. It’s a depression when you lose yours.” To which The Gipper appended, entertainingly: “And recovery is when Jimmy Carter loses his.” These articulations sprang to mind in pondering the variations of inflation measurements advanced by economists to determine whether price growth is “easing,” as the counterfeit chief executive would have one believe.

President Joe Biden of course adopted a sanctimonious stance when it was reported that classified documents were found at Donald Trump’s Florida estate. “Totally irresponsible,” said the man who has been keeping classified documents going back to his years in the Senate. As infuriating as his comment was, Biden might be guilty of more than hypocrisy. Biden has left a growing trail of classified documents behind him, including papers from his Senate “service” as well as his terms as vice president. They’ve been turned up at Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement in Washington – the “think tank” where Biden kept an office

If you weighed the importance of a scandal based on the amount of media coverage generated in recent weeks, you’d think that George Santos is the biggest threat the nation currently faces. Bigger even than Donald Trump, and much bigger than President Joe Biden, who has hoarded highly classified documents in unsecured locations for the past six years. Who is George Santos, you ask? He’s nobody. He’s just one of 435 congressmen elected in the 2022 midterms. He’s someone who would normally get zero press attention, even if he had done something incredibly stupid like lie about his background to get elected. But Santos, you see,

In recent years, government in the U.S. has never been bigger, in terms of both spending and its power over individuals and the economy. Some have begun to openly wonder: Is the U.S. evolving into a socialist-style economy? And is that what Americans want? The latest I&I/TIPP Poll has answers. Over the last three years, due to the COVID pandemic, government spending at all levels averaged just over 44% of GDP, the highest since World War II, when much of the economy was essentially socialized in order to boost war spending. Today, a majority of Americans agree that the sudden, rapid growth from COVID-related spending and burgeoning top-down control o

Last week, the Biden administration once again extended the COVID public health emergency, the 12th time it’s been extended in the past three years. Just weeks before, however, team Biden told the Supreme Court that there is no COVID emergency, and there hasn’t been one since last April. Why the two diametrically opposed positions? Simple. Extending the public health emergency declaration lets Joe Biden keep millions of recipients on Medicaid and continue his student loan bailout. Joe Biden seems to be in a bit of trouble. The man who said Donald Trump was “totally irresponsible” for keeping classified documents at his Florida estate now has his own document-gate dragging him down. But his defenders respond, “that’s OK, at least you’re not Trump.” Are there any offenses that Never Trumpers and Democrats say Trump has committed that Biden hasn’t also perpetrated, or done worse?  The stumbling Biden, whose presidency seems to be an effort in trying to manage, and maybe direct, the decline of the U.S., has apparently left a trail of unsecured classified documents, some so sensitive they were declared top secret.

The news that the federal government is seriously considering a ban on the sale of gas stoves caught many normal Americans off guard. It shouldn’t have. Nor should they believe it when a regulator says they won’t actually ever ban the thing. In recent decades, regulators have wormed their way into every corner of our lives – banning some products, ruining others, and pricing others out of reach of working families – all allegedly for our benefit. The only thing that’s surprising is that they hadn’t targeted gas stoves earlier. This week, the Consumer Product Safety Commission Commissioner Richard Trumka Jr. said that gas appliances
