The US House voted for Speaker for the 6th time Wednesday afternoon. GOP Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) suffered another humiliating loss for the sixth time. Kevin McCarthy has now lost votes since Tuesday and since President Trump’s endorsement. On Wednesday, Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX 2nd District) joined Guy Benshow Show. During the interview, Crenshaw referred to the 20 Republicans challenging the establishment as “terrorists.” “We cannot let the terrorists win,” Crenshaw said.

Dan Crenshaw a RINO? Seriously? Then these days the term has no meaning. Now RINO = a Republican who doesn’t think or act exactly the way some other Republican wants.

How quickly Crenshaw became a go along to get along RINO. My guess is that there a lot of Representatives who do not like McCarthy but still think he’s going to win. They’re worried about retaliation and losing their committee assignments, sadly including Jim Jordan. Shame on all of them for not supporting the dissenter’s Constitutional right to dissent.

Crenshaw never saw a Democrat bill he didn't vote for. He is no conservative, and is despised in Texas---but the Congressional district was drawn to keep him in office. Crenshaw, how many times does those 20 Republicans have to tell you what they want. They have been doing so for the last 2 years.

Again when the greatest President since Reagan showed up, challenged the DC mentality and reconnected with Americas principles, he was met with disdain from the republicans who were members of the club. They know, because advisors like Karl Rove, the political class consultants, tell them how to sound good for the folks back home. Problem is, the folks back home go to rallys to see Orange man bad, because he doesn't just mouth the words, he acts as conservatives act. His successes were blocked, his triumphs not acknowledged by the republican party of the DC legislative community. They didn't back him, they didn't defend him, the didn't take up our fight when we needed them. So twenty hearty souls who still know where they came from, who still know why Trump is possible, who recognize this broken system needs outside help They are not terrorists, they are patriots. Now, we’ve seen cursing & calling names among the elected leaders of our land amid decision making that affects the future of what is left of our representative Republic. But, far from the leadership of the majority of our Founders, we have seen or heard little to no honestly & humbly calling on Almighty, Omniscient God, upon whose precepts our Republic was built, or bending a knee in reverent prayer for His mercy, guidance and blessing to help resolve conflicts and bring about results for the good of the people. The words & writings of our (imperfect, but great) leaders and people are filled with evidences of God’s part in bringing America through perilous times & guiding her to greatness. Some of us are praying out here in the hinterlands. Perhaps it’s time for more of our decision makers to remember the One who knows the best outcome before the beginning and is able to provide it, and to humble themselves and call on His name in careful, reverent prayer. Relying on their own understanding, and not acknowledging Him hasn’t worked in a very long time.

During the Great Moderation in monetary policy in the 1980s and 1990s under the leadership of Fed chairmen Paul Volcker and Alan Greenspan, the Fed fulfilled this mandate

The majestic structures of ancient Rome have survived for millennia — a testament to the ingenuity of Roman engineers, who perfected the use of concrete. But how did their construction materials help keep colossal buildings like the Pantheon (which has the world's largest unreinforced dome) and the Colosseum standing for more than 2,000 years? Roman concrete, in many cases, has proven to be longer-lasting than its modern equivalent, which can deteriorate within decades. Now, scientists behind a new study say they have uncovered the mystery ingredient that allowed the Romans to make their construction material so durable and build elaborate structures in challenging places such as docks, sewers and earthquake zones.
