Prince Harry has hinted that he and his wife, Meghan Markle will never give up their royal titles, while brazenly asking 'what difference it would make'.
When the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced that they were stepping away from the monarchy and moving to America in early 2020 - many people called for them to give up their royal titles.
Those cries have become increasingly louder in the years since, during which Harry and Meghan have both launched multiple attacks on the royal family, beginning with their incendiary Oprah interview - and continuing with further TV appearances, a Netflix documentary, and the release of Harry's bombshell memoir,

Their titles are all they have left. When His Royal Highness the Duke of Windsor married Wallis Simpson, she was not given the title HRH. She was Her Grace, the Duchess of Windsor. The Duke fumed about it for the rest of his life.

Whatever happens, Meghan will always be a trailer park queen. I'll grant you, it might not get many dinner invitations, but it is a royal title, yeah? ;-)

The truth is, no one really cares about these two odd balls. They are an embarrassment to the royal family. King Charles should just say, okay Harry, we will strip you of all titles and money. Go for it on your own.

Harry really has sold his soul.
Maybe he could keep his title, and they could strip Sparkle and she could be “Ms. Duke.”

Harry has the false impression that multitudes care, but Harry multitudes don't give a rat's as* about you and your trashy wife's continuing saga of drama. Maybe the Brits care but the rest of the world, a majority of it, says "Harry who"?

It's long been known that Harry is neither the brightest nor most mentally stable person around. Meghan recognized he'd be someone easy to manipulate, a great asset in someone you're using as a steppingstone. But she didn't understand the workings of the royal family or British culture; her ham-handed attempts to become queen bee, so to speak, failed on every level. Add in the fact she's not exactly a rocket scientist herself, and everything they try is blowing up in their faces. She's going to dump him eventually, and then maybe Harry will recognize he was an idiot used by a narcissist.

#3, We should care. These two twits are desperate to wreak their revenge on the Royal Family for imagined slights. While this is certainly a family melodrama being played out on the world’s stage, it has the potential to divide Great Britain in a very destructive manner. The woke left wants to destroy history and every tradition that unites people because a country divided is easily thrown into chaos. Then it becomes ripe for the pickings of the globalist cabal which is busy working to chip away at the foundation of Western Civilization. These power mad globalists will use anything to create chaos. I am not inferring that they are behind this, but they certainly can use it to their advantage. Never underestimate this cabal. Look what they have done here in a matter of a few years. The chaos we see all around us is not by accident. It has been managed by an extremely evil cabal whose insatiable lust for power and control know no bounds. Great Britain and the United States are hanging by a thread. Our countries are more divided than ever mainly because of the malevolent mischief of this globalist cabal.

Harry is a spoiled, entitled brat. Someone should have spanked his royal bottom when he was a child. Imagine being raised in the lap of luxury, adored by the people of your country and all because of an accident of birth. He and his harridan wife should be stripped of their titles and left to drift on the winds of change.

I think Harry's Book, Spare, might just be the last Straw. Right now he's in his Book Tour, going on all the TV Stations and loving the Spotlight. I think when the dust settles in a few weeks, he and Meghan are going to sit down and say, what now. Their lifestyle demands a ton of money, and what they've made from trashing the Royals is soon going to dry up. Nobody cares anymore. Harry has spilled his guts and the Royals have kicked him aside like a tiny Barking Dog nipping at one's ankle! So where do they go from here? Neither of them has a Job, or a way to earn their own money. All the money they've enjoyed so far is thanks to his Family or to Netflix and his Book. Soon, nobody will want to interview either of them. They are now "Old News"! I think soon, Daddy, known as The King, will strip them of their Titles and that will be what kills the Golden Goose!

You want a title, how about Mister and Missus? That has a nice ring to it. "What difference would that make?" is a familiar term to Americans once used by an old hag who also thought she was royalty and thought it was proper to allow people to die to protect State and CIA secrets. (PS: We don't much like her either.)

I don’t think that Harry has any say over whether they keep their royal titles or not. And it’s incredibly narcissistic of him to believe that it’s his decision. As others have posted, Charles needs to take them away.
#13, I used to think that too when Harry was younger but now, if you put the photo of him on the cover of his book next to a photo of a younger King Charles, they have the same close set eyes. And that ginger hair comes from the Spencers.

What if it were to turn out that Prince harry wasn't such a bad guy after all, and that Meghan more than just a gold-digger? What if we were to learn that they were the victims of tabloid gossip and defamation? They did it to President Trump. "If it bleeds, it leads" has always been the guiding principal in the newspaper business, and if they can't find an assassination to publicize, they'll make one up.
Harry served in the military for ten years, with two tours in Afghanistan, and though he probably did not see combat he was nevertheless there. Since then he's actively supported the Invictus games to support wounded veterans. That speaks for something. Another thing, Wiki (I looked him up) states that the two were introduced on Instagram, which may suggest that the attraction was not exclusively physical.
Finally, consider the complicated, symbolic rigmarole they would be expected to assume. Would an American would have difficulties--and reservations-- with all this and be seen as bungling invader? Is it possible that Harry is a populist at heart, concerned about the relevance of this largely ceremonial institution? If so, that would provide for many awkward moments.
I hate to see people gang up on somebody they're only superficially familiar with. It bothers me. So, I'm predisposed to feel sympathy for them. Nevertheless, maybe--maybe all of this hate is unfounded, What would be the harm in cutting those two a little more slack?

I always look at what's MISSING from a story.
They are asking us to believe that MeAgain never asked a single question or had any curiosity BEFOREHAND about how her life would change by marrying a Royal? That implies that she was indifferent or disinterested in any changes that would occur? Really? Even with all of the wedding pomp and circumstance, she was somehow surprised to notice that her life was changing? Like a bolt from the blue, these changes just "happened."
Oh, I know. Look, a squirrel! Let's blame the Royals. They are secretive racists.

His whole life he has been a "wild child" and a rebel. It's just that he needed to meet up with the "catalyst" in his life to set off the explosion. He has been both exposed and protected by the tabloid press since his hormones started to flow. Only a "Perfumed Prince" can get into the officer corps of the British military after a history of drug use and lewd behavior in public. It must have been extremely obvious during his time in the military that he was unfit for the officer staff.
Harry despises Americans while still loving his beloved Britain and its Royalty. You can't have "double loyalty." Pick a side and stay with it.
The United States needs to eliminate the concept of "Dual Citizenship" entirely. It is insidious.

#26,#40~ Royal Titles / According to a news article published December 9, 2022, Bob Seely, a member of Parliament’s Conservative (Tory) Party planned “to put forward a bill that will allow Parliament to strip Prince Harry and wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, of their titles in response to their politically-charged Netflix series.”
~~ FTA: “Parliament’s experts have been looking at some old laws”, he said, remarking:” One, The Titles Deprivation Act 1917, stripped German royals of their UK titles during WWI. A change of wording would update the law, allowing Parliament to remove Harry’s titles,” the MP explained with respect to the practicalities of his proposal. ~~
As of this writing, the status of that proposal is not clear.
#29~ Such empathy/compassion is commendable and not to be dismissed. However, worthy of consideration in this most unfortunate public exposure are two relevant factors:
1) Rachel Meghan Markle has a family reputation for behavior that has been problematic as well as one or two previous marriages. Meghan seems to have come along at a time when Prince Harry was very vulnerable due to his love of children, seeing his brother’s children as well children of friends, and likely wanting a family of his own became more intense. Suitable young British women he dated were aware of and not receptive to the glare of being a royal which complicated his hopes for marriage and children. It seems Meghan’s charm was of a magnitude that he disregarded well-intentioned, loving admonitions to “slow down” by his brother and others wary of the rapidity in which he was moving toward matrimony with Meghan.
2) Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, has a Bachelor of Arts in psychology, a Master of Social Work (worked for three years at a mental health services clinic), is a yoga instructor, and taught a jewelry making course at Santa Monica College.
While not personally immersed in Prince Harry’s background, there have been news articles about his personal experience with mental health issues. Without making any accusations, the possibility of Prince Harry being a vulnerable individual might render him exceptionally susceptible to “influence” that might impact his life without him being personally aware of such influence. Perhaps well-intentioned “influence” resulted in a sorrowful exposure of bitterness that might not have been harbored within him. Prince Harry lived in a protected environment that prevented him from exposure to potential harm inflicted by non-royals so did not experience the bumps and bruises of everyday life as experienced by commoners. At this point he may be confused, conflicted, apprehensive, remorseful or, possibly, defiant. Time will tell. Without question, prayers on his behalf would be appropriate.

It does not matter if Harry and Meghan voluntarily give up their Royal Titles or not. What matters is future actions by King Charles and/or the British Parliament that may strip Harry and Meghan of those titles.
If Harry and Meghan are planning on living the rest of their lives in California, USA, clearly they have no need for such Royal Titles, other than to impress low information or stupid people, to gain some recognition from the fake Hollywood Royal classes, or be used to impress if Meghan actually decides to enter leftist Democrat elected politics.
Currently Harry’s immigration status is uncertain, as he may have been admitted to the USA on some sort of temporary visa or more likely may be in the USA as a permanent resident alien based upon him being married to a U.S. citizen that will eventually qualify him to apply for and be granted US citizenship. It has recently been reported that Harry has been an illegal narcotics user that could render him to be found excludable from the USA under provisions of the U.S. immigration laws, but I would not worry about that, as both Harry and Meghan are liberals who Biden would grant Harry a waiver of all grounds of excludability that pop up. If Harry were to apply for US citizenship it appears that provisions of the U.S. Nationality law would require Harry to renounce any allegiance to foreign royalty that would require him to give up any foreign Royal Title that he may hold, but again since Meghan is said to intend to enter leftist Democrat politics, so you can bet that as long as Biden is in the White House that any disqualification for US citizenship based upon Harry continuing to hold foreign Royal Titles will be completely ignored.
