‘Tis the season to be a lonely, hateful stain on humanity if you’re a bolshie.
I’ve made no secret that I used to be a New York City liberal. I know how they think. I know their motivations. They are tragically unhappy people, victims of their own victimhood. Most importantly they hate you for enjoying the holidays. Let’s laugh at them as we have some Christmas fun!
The leftists hate Christmastime for a handful of reasons. Let’s take a peak and see what lurks in the warped mind of a miserable, Yuletide leftist.
Woke
For starters, “woke” is a buzzkill. It’s hard to get into the Christmas spirit

My wife and I have become avid fans of American football. The Canadian game left us cold. Three-down football is a bore, the larger field resembles a soccer pitch, and the caliber of players is necessarily weaker than that of their American counterparts. Four-down football is far more interesting, eliminating the need for constant punt exchanges and allowing us to examine and enjoy the complexity of strategy, play adjustments, lots of audibles, and the evolution of play formation in general.
We have our favorite players and teams. I appreciate the toughness and camaraderie of the Tennessee Titans before their seemingly inexplicable run of losses.

Forty-one House Democrats filed a bill on Thursday to bar former President Donald Trump from running for president in 2024, citing section 3 of the 14th Amendment.
“Donald Trump very clearly engaged in an insurrection on January 6, 2021 with the intention of overturning the lawful and fair results of the 2020 election. You don’t get to lead a government you tried to destroy,” Rep. David Cicilline (D-RI) wrote in a press release:
Even Mitch McConnell admits that Trump bears responsibility, saying on the Senate floor that ‘[t]here’s no question, none, that President Trump is practically and morally responsible for provoking the events of the day.’

Nancy Pelosi is ending her second and final stint as Speaker of the House, and despite her tenure being one of the most divisive and harmful in history, she’s taking a victory lap.
On Wednesday, a ceremony was held to unveil a comically large portrait of Pelosi that will now hang in the Capitol Building into perpetuity because our elites aren’t content with just stealing our money. They must also use that money to laud themselves on their way out the door.
At the ceremony, the spirit of bipartisanship was alive and well. Former GOP Speaker John Boehner spoke, and naturally, he cried over how amazing Pelosi supposedly is.

Before “words are violence”, men were men.
“That was the roughest 10-15 minutes I ever spent,” said one pilot. A squadron of B-24s had flown in one of the first days of Operation Argument. It had been a success. Only three crews didn’t return. It was the beginning of the Eighth Air Force’s big winter of 1944 push to cripple or crush the Luftwaffe ahead of the D-Day invasion. The crews called it the “Big Week”.
Jim had been promoted to Major. In comparison to most of the bomber crews, Jim was ancient. He was 36. On a cold February 24th in 1944 he watched from the tower as bombers returned.

Long-time Democrat strongman Jesús “Chuy” Garcia just jumped into the race for Chicago Mayor, and while polling shows he may be a front-runner, his recently disclosed donation from FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried is threatening to upend that early lead.
As Chicago’s Channel 7 reported, the latest polling finds Garcia in a commanding position at the outset of his campaign for City Hall.
But that lead might be in jeopardy with news of donations gotten from the FTX chief, who is under threat of prosecution in at least two countries.
According to Politico’s Illinois Playbook, Garcia was the recipient of at least $200,000 in donations,

Since its release on October 25, Jemele Hill’s memoir, Uphill, has sold only 5,034 copies.
Outkick has the particulars on the former and VERY unpopular SportsCenter host’s latest flameout:
Former television host Jemele Hill released her memoir last month titled “Uphill.” The book explores Hill’s self-purported journey in overcoming racism in America and she spent significant time promoting her new work across various networks. The New York Times published more than one fawning review to condone her bravery.
Hill told Deadspin she hoped the memoir would propel her to “a best-selling author,” a feat she was confident she’d reach.
On top of all those fawning reviews (plural) in the New York Times,

I’m trying to ponder what could be driving this story that most American simply couldn’t care less about. My only explanation is that because the 2022 midterms weren’t an electoral red wedding for Democrats, the party thinks they won, which isn’t necessarily an incorrect take, but that also doesn’t mean the top concerns for liberals are what most people fixate on daily.
That’s an overreach. Case in point, the latest January 6 development doesn’t pass the smell test. We’re learning about this lone intelligence analyst now. Yahoo! News has the scoop, where a young intelligence officer at the Department of Homeland Security stumbled upon multiple threads

For years now, Leftists have waved away freedom of speech concerns over Big Tech’s censorship of voices that dissent from the Left’s agenda. Twitter, Facebook, Google and the rest are all private companies, you see, and so they can set any speech policies they want. Now that Elon Musk has bought Twitter, that argument has been consigned to the dustbin of history, as it might suggest that Musk is free to restore the freedom of speech on his platform. But evidence is piling up that the FBI was actively involved in getting pre-Musk Twitter to censor patriots, and it may be that the bureau really did violate the First Amendment

Back in 2010, RNC Chair Michael Steele was heavily criticized and eventually lost his position because donors were angry about what they believed was luxurious spending on private jets, floral arrangements, chauffeur services, and member meetings in expensive tropical locales. Donors were used to frugality from the RNC under the George W. Bush administration, when “Karl Rove would b***h if there were flowers on the tables” and staff holiday parties were catered by Chick-fil-A.
Despite Joe Biden’s economy and three straight cycles of election losses, the RNC’s big-spending days are back with a vengeance.

The Republicans won the House during the midterms and perhaps one of the most important results of that is that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) will no longer be the Speaker when the new Congress is sworn in, in January.
Pelosi was long past her prime (if she was ever in it) some years back and it’s been a horror show not just to deal with the horrible policies that she was willing to sign aboard, but all of her other issues as well. If I had to hear her lie and say one more time, “It’s for the children,” I think I would have screamed.
