I’m trying to ponder what could be driving this story that most American simply couldn’t care less about. My only explanation is that because the 2022 midterms weren’t an electoral red wedding for Democrats, the party thinks they won, which isn’t necessarily an incorrect take, but that also doesn’t mean the top concerns for liberals are what most people fixate on daily.
That’s an overreach. Case in point, the latest January 6 development doesn’t pass the smell test. We’re learning about this lone intelligence analyst now. Yahoo! News has the scoop, where a young intelligence officer at the Department of Homeland Security stumbled upon multiple threads

For years now, Leftists have waved away freedom of speech concerns over Big Tech’s censorship of voices that dissent from the Left’s agenda. Twitter, Facebook, Google and the rest are all private companies, you see, and so they can set any speech policies they want. Now that Elon Musk has bought Twitter, that argument has been consigned to the dustbin of history, as it might suggest that Musk is free to restore the freedom of speech on his platform. But evidence is piling up that the FBI was actively involved in getting pre-Musk Twitter to censor patriots, and it may be that the bureau really did violate the First Amendment

Back in 2010, RNC Chair Michael Steele was heavily criticized and eventually lost his position because donors were angry about what they believed was luxurious spending on private jets, floral arrangements, chauffeur services, and member meetings in expensive tropical locales. Donors were used to frugality from the RNC under the George W. Bush administration, when “Karl Rove would b***h if there were flowers on the tables” and staff holiday parties were catered by Chick-fil-A.
Despite Joe Biden’s economy and three straight cycles of election losses, the RNC’s big-spending days are back with a vengeance.

The Republicans won the House during the midterms and perhaps one of the most important results of that is that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) will no longer be the Speaker when the new Congress is sworn in, in January.
Pelosi was long past her prime (if she was ever in it) some years back and it’s been a horror show not just to deal with the horrible policies that she was willing to sign aboard, but all of her other issues as well. If I had to hear her lie and say one more time, “It’s for the children,” I think I would have screamed.

I wrote on Tuesday about how Kamala Harris spoke to young African leaders at the U.S. Africa Summit.
She tried to sound profound but it lost something in the translation as it was the same remarks, complete with the same hand motions, that she’s pulled out many times in the past. So if the leaders thought that they were getting some special praise (if they could even figure out what she was saying), they would have been sadly mistaken.
But Wednesday was Joe Biden’s turn. He spoke during another part of the Summit, the U.S. Africa Business Forum. To say it didn’t go well would probably be an understatement.

STARKVILLE — In the days following his death, the reach Mississippi State football's Mike Leach had is evident. From actor Matthew McConaughey to players such as former NFL receiver Michael Crabtree, social media has featured an outpouring of love for Leach.
Wednesday, Leach's supporters were reminded the coach's presence extended to the White House. Former president Donald Trump, who Leach endorsed ahead of the 2016 election, released a statement mourning the loss of a friend.
"Mike Leach was an incredible Patriot and Coach, with a big heart for our Country and for Football," Trump said. "From the very beginning, Mike was on Team MAGA,

Last week, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis reportedly told a meeting of the Republican Party of Florida that his team would be looking for ways to hold the COVID-19 vaccine makers accountable for side effects and health problems tied to their products. Specifically, DeSantis cited a study by the Florida Department of Health (FDOH) under Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo that showed an increased risk for cardiac arrest in men 18-39.
Now it appears Ladapo’s agency is conducting another study. On an episode of the We the Patriots podcast with Teryn Gregson,

On one hand, I am grateful that I don’t have to worry about what might happen to my kids at school. On the other hand, I still worry about what might happen to my grandkids, who are still in school. One does not need to do a comprehensive internet search to find examples of teachers and school board members promoting objectionable ideologies or subjecting students to prurient and illegal sexual activities. I’ll leave that search to you if you think you can do it and still keep your lunch down.

STARKVILLE — College football has lost an icon.
Mississippi State football coach Mike Leach — a sharp-witted on-field innovator whose Air Raid offense transcended the sport and created numerous coaching disciples across the nation — died Monday night at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson following complications from a heart condition, MSU announced.
He was 61.
"Mike was a giving and attentive husband, father and grandfather," his family said in a statement. "He was able to participate in organ donation at UMMC as a final act of charity. We are supported and uplifted by the outpouring of love and prayers from family, friends, Mississippi State University, the hospital staff,

Millions of Americans love tuning into Yellowstone on Paramount, a drama starring Kevin Costner that not only highlights the natural beauty of Montana but also exposes a seedy underbelly of corruption, murder, and intrigue that stretches from the ranchers to the politicians and even into the courts. But fiction may not be so far from reality when it comes to the family court system in Montana. One name continues to come up in my inbox repeatedly: Standing Master Magdelena Bowen.
In Montana, standing masters (SM) are appointed by district judges to lighten their caseloads by foisting complicated family court matters onto the SM instead of the elected judges.

The trial of January 6 protester Jeremy Brown took place at the Middle District Court in Tampa, FL this week.
The Gateway Pundit reporter Brian Lupo attended the trial.
Jeremy has been locked up since September 2021, for over 450 days, after FBI agents raided his home.
Jeremy was approached to work as an operative for the FBI in December 2020 at the January 6 protests in Washington DC. He refused the FBI and spoke out about their proposal. So, seven months later the FBI arrested Jeremy at his home in Florida.
The attorney for Jeremy Brown, Mr. Roger Futerman, alleged on Wednesday that the FBI “planted” evidence

Former University of Central Florida (UCF) football player and Massachusetts native Jake Hescock died suddenly on Tuesday, according to his family.
Hescock, 25, collapsed while jogging in Boston last week, his cousin Lisa Walz Mlynarczyk wrote on a Facebook group dedicated to him.
According to reports, Hescock suffered from cardiac arrest.
“He was given CPR and has been on life support ever since.
We were told last night that the damage to his brain from the lack of oxygen is severe,” she wrote.
A passerby found him and provided CPR, and was taken to the hospital.
“A Good Samaritan found him and gave him CPR. He suffered cardiac arrest.
Comments:
They are appealing the convictions. I hope that they win. Frankly, I'm surprised that this trial was held in Florida instead of the District of Corruption.
