Bill Barr Says DOJ ‘Getting Very Close’
to Having Sufficient Evidence to Indict Trump

Bill Barr, who served as attorney general during the Trump administration, said Wednesday that the Justice Department appears to be “getting very close” to having sufficient evidence to indict former president Trump. Law enforcement is investigating former president Donald Trump for removal or destruction of records, obstruction of an investigation, and violating the Espionage Act, according to the search warrant for Trump’s residence at Mar-a-Lago. Barr said during an appearance on Fox News that government investigators must consider if they have a technical case against Trump and said, “I think they’re getting very close to that point, frankly.” He added that the DOJ must weigh what the potential fallout

If the documents are so important and have to be kept secret, why are they(the DOJ and FBI) leaking them to the Press? Barr must be as scared as the rest of them that Trump will use the declassified info that he had to nail their a___s to the wall. This is definitely a political witch hunt.

Nooo...he said they are close to the point where they have to DECIDE to actually charge him or back off/drop the whole thing. It's put up or shut up time.IF thy do not have something verrrrrry substantial, 100% inarguabley criminal, and it has to be something they haven't previously let other politicos skate on...they need to get out of the "Pending Arrest" news game. Particularly now that Biden has hired Podesta as a "Top Government Czar".

Yes, they are close to indicting Trump. After all, there is only seven weeks left before the mid-terms. The indictment must be done before then.

Guilty until President Trump is able to prove himself innocent. A DC jury will have little to no problem avoiding Trump’s lack of guilt in order to find him guilty of violating the Espionage Act, Woodrow Wilson’s 1918 Act to silence dissent against WWI. Would not be shocked if Trump is charged by Biden’s DoJ and held, without trial or bail (flight risk) for 12 to 18 months in solitary along with the 85 January 6th individuals stil awaiting trial in that rotten DC jail. Bill Barr enjoys playing fool for Biden.

Barr is well past his “sell by date”. I am hoping Trump has a “corker” of an AG planned for 2025, who will raise Holy Hades in a reign of “the rule of law” upon those behind the 2020 coup and those (Bill Barr #1) who looked the other way. Deep state beware.

At this Point, I say Go Ahead "Make My Day"! I'm sick and tired of the Drip, Drip Drip! If they DO indict Trump, Republicans are going to come out of the Woodwork at the Next Election! Democrats won't know what hit them! Also, Republicans will undo ANYTHING the Democrats do against Trump. They know it and don't care as long as they can stop him from running for office again. Bill Barr and everyone like him, trying to bring down Trump, will pay the price once Republicans are in charge of all THREE Houses! Payback is hell. Wonder how Bill Barr, Biden or Pelosi would like to have Their home be the next target for an early morning Raid. Who knows what the next President will do, but you can be sure there will be some form of Payback.

Barr has absolutely nothing, but wants to appear on tv, and be relevant. Since he has nothing, and did nothing, he has to make up drama to get a network to put him on air. The networks would be well advised to ignore a man with nothing, but they won't, because he can be used as a tool to prosecute Trump. Without Trump, the networks can attract no audience, and without Trump, Barr is nobody.

Barr did this to Trump supporters when he was AG. He led us on about the Durham investigation. Now he's following the Muller group's playbook. Endless, meaningless dripping of lies to keep up a negative impression of Trump. If he actually knows something, he shouldn't and those involved should be prosecuted.

Absent a showing of prejudice (harm) by DOJ, adding an extra procedural step in litigation is rarely appealed and even more rarely reversed. In this case, a photocopied and paginated record of the documents as they existed at the time of seizure also needs to be created and preserved lest alterations and planted evidence should become part of the "evidence." After the FBI's deception before the FISA Court, no one should pretend this could never happen.

Here's my guess/ We will see numerous ex justice officials making speculative claims like this for the next 6 weeks. Then, in October we will start seeing the leaks from Justice about Grand Jury testimony and imminent indictment from a veritable army of unamed sources (tm). Followed by breathless reporting about exactly how long a conviction could land Trump in Jail. Actual DOJ officials will hide behind the "cannot comment on ongoing investigation" bull and the alphabets will air every rumour non stop 24/7 up until exactly 27 minutes past the last poll closing on election night. Then one of two things will happen, everyting will just pretty much stop, since no sane ADA will ever want to be on the losing side of this fiasco, or more likeley The DOJ will leak that while the evidence is undeniable some docs critical to prosecution appear to be missing, with the clear insinuation that Trump destroyed them so the investigation must continue. The ever subservient media will then go into a holding pattern that essentially says Trump got away with these felonies because of the two tiered justice system, insider corruption or paid off Re[ublican appoimted judges. The fact that there never was any evidence supporting an indictment in the first place will be quietly shoved into the memory hole. Remember, for the left the only thing that matters is the severity of the accusation, actual evidence, or an indictment let alone a trial and conviction are not required.

FTA: "He added that the DOJ must weigh what the potential fallout of indicting a former president would be as well, including how it would impact the country and what precedent it would set. He said it is his hope that this will deter the DOJ from indicting the former president." It appears Barr is saying, "I know Trump is guilty of a crime but for the good of the country, he should walk." No "leaker" has produced a single iota of evidence Trump committed a crime. Why have Trump's declassification claims suddenly dropped from the debate? Every talking head in America is claiming Trump possessed documents that he had no right to possess. Why hasn't Trump sued the government in order to adjudicate his claims of declassification? That outcome would seem to play a dispositive role in the viability of any criminal persecution.

Florida Republicans are continuing to grow their advantage over Democrats in the Sunshine State, now besting them by over 260,000 voters statewide, Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) announced on Tuesday. Speaking from Fort Myers this week, DeSantis highlighted the shift the Sunshine State has experienced in terms of voter registration in the last few years. Roughly four years ago, when DeSantis was running for governor against Andrew Gillum, “there were like 275,000 more Democrats than Republicans in the state of Florida,” the governor said, noting that Florida never had more registered Republicans than Democrats in the state’s history. The firearms maker on Thursday had reported net sales to $84.4 million for its fiscal first quarter, a decrease of 69% from the same time last year. Smith & Wesson Chief Executive Officer Mark Smith blamed the "challenging" quarter on the return to normal demand levels and the company needing to correct inventory levels. "The industry experienced our first normal summer slowdown in three years," Smith said in a press release. Additionally, he said manufacturer orders were "artificially depressed" as the company's partners sold through existing inventories.

North Korea has passed a new law declaring itself a nuclear weapons state in a move leader Kim Jong Un says is "irreversible." Kim vowed the country would "never give up" its nuclear weapons and said there could be no negotiations on denuclearization as he hailed the passage of the law, North Korean state media reported Friday. The new law also enshrines Pyongyang's right to use preemptive nuclear strikes to protect itself -- updating a previous stance under which it had said it would keep its weapons only until other countries denuclearized and would not use them preemptively against non-nuclear states.

On Thursday, as RedState reported, Queen Elizabeth II passed away at the age of 96. She lived a life fuller than most, standing as a symbol of hope and decency for the country she represented. The British monarch served in the Auxiliary Territorial Service during World War II before taking the throne in 1952 after the death of her father. Since then, she’s been the most prolific royal since Britain’s move to a constitutional and parliamentary system. No matter one’s thoughts on the idea of having a royal family, there’s no question she was beloved by her country and many others outside it.

Manchin, who had originally pledged not to sign on to any new spending bill during the country’s current inflationary boom, suddenly switched his position at the end of July. The bill he negotiated, which cost nearly a trillion dollars, was full of wasteful green energy subsidies and payouts to special interests. It also represented a stabbing in the back of Republican senators who had trusted him to keep his word about reconciliation after voting for the CHIPS Act.

Please pause for a moment and say a prayer for the vulnerable and terrified Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-Mars), a key member of Amerikkka’s marginalized community of color. So marginalized, despised, discriminated against, and harassed is AOC that she had to take to the pages of GQ, that plucky, ragtag samizdat mouthpiece of the people, to explain just how marginalized and harassed she is. In a loving interview topped with lavish glamor shots of the rising political star, a teary-eyed AOC revealed that there is such a tidal wave of misogyny in the evil, MAGA-ridden United States today that she isn’t even sure she will live through the month of September.

Because most people don’t know a farmer personally anymore, everyone should realize that they don’t make piles of money producing our food. A good year can be followed by three bad ones, and 2022 has been a burden. Between record heat waves in the U.S. and abroad, droughts in the middle of the country, fertilizer shortages, and rising costs for just about every farm input, many American farms are on the brink. Everyone will feel the pinch in continued food price increases and shortages at the store. As bad as the agricultural outlook is in America, it is far worse in Europe. Joe Manchin cast the deciding vote for the so-called Inflation Reduction Act, and it may end up costing him his political career if a new poll is to be believed.

Joe Biden and his handler Dr. Jill traveled across town to sign the condolence book for Queen Elizabeth at the British Embassy in Washington DC. (Photo) Joe is so incapacitated that his handlers had to write down his message for him on a card before he signed the condolence book. CSPAN did us all a favor by zooming in for a closeup of Biden copying his pre-written card into the book – You can’t make this up! (Video)

When last Thursday night Joe Biden told America, "Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans" "threaten the very foundation of our republic," he missed the mark. The real threat comes from the unlikeliest of suspects: educated liberal females, or "ELFs" for short. These are the women who will proudly vote Democrat regardless of soaring inflation, rising gas prices, rampant crime in the streets, the unchecked flood of illegal aliens, and oppressive COVID policies that have irreparably damaged all children, the poor most notably.

Steve Bannon was arrested on Thursday on money laundering and conspiracy charges stemming from a fundraising scheme to build a wall on the Southern border. Bannon, who is the self-proclaimed leader of the “MAGA grassroots movement,” surrendered himself in New York City to prosecutors following the indictment. Apparently, New York AG Letecia James wasn’t satisfied, though. Later in the day, after Bannon had turned himself in, he was put in chains and perp walked down a long line of prepositioned media for his arraignment.Forgive me for not giving James, who has shown herself to be a partisan hack over the years, the benefit of the doubt here. Everything about this appears

The operator of California’s power grid is advising state residents to prepare for rolling outages because of a heatwave. Governor Gavin Newsom constantly brags about the state’s commitment to green energy, but he can’t even keep the power on. How will they power all the electric cars once they ban gas-powered vehicles if they can’t keep the power on? (Snip) BREAKING: California’s grid operator has just issued a level 2 energy emergency alert, upgrading from level 1 issued earlier. @California_ISO is now advising Californias to “be ready for potential rotating power outages” this evening as electricity demand may hit all time high.
